Promoter: Jim “The Rebel” Rogers

Ring Announcer and Interviewer: Jade

Commentary: Shawn Roberts

Jade introduces Jim “The Rebel” Rogers to the ring. He comes down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans. He gets in the ring and takes the microphone with a big smile on his face. He welcomes the audience and thanks them for being part of the RFW. He says this wouldn’t be possible without them. He hypes the main event of Mark Blood challenging RFW Champion, King Donovan, in a steel cage match. He says that he has also setup a match between Cole Arcane and Rex Anarchy because of their confrontation at the last episode. Rogers says that there is more action to come and to enjoy the show. The audience cheers as he waves and takes his place ringside.

Jade introduces the competitors of the first match. Out first is Andre Jordan. He steps into the ring and flexes while standing on a turnbuckle. The audience boos him. Vito DeFazio comes out next. He tries to get the crowd energized on his way to the ring.

“Time to get the ball rolling on another episode of RFW! I am looking forward to seeing this first match. I think these two may surprise us tonight.”

Andre Jordan vs. Vito DeFazio

Both men circle the ring, looking for an opening. DeFazio attacks first but Jordan stops him with a kick to the gut followed by a clothesline. Jordan throws DeFazio around the ring with suplexes. Jordan goes for a gorilla press but DeFazio slips out of his arms and lands feet first on the mat. DeFazio pushes Jordan into the ropes and clothelines him over the top. The crowd begins cheering for DeFazio. He tries to feed off of the crowd, pumping his fist in the air. Jordan recovers on the outside and is about to get back into the ring when the lights go out.

A few seconds later, the lights come back on and Witchmere, Giant Wraith, and Kevin Graves are standing in the ring, surrounding DeFazio. Andre Jordan looks up into the ring and puts his hands up and he backs away from the ring. He leaves the ringside area, leaving Vito DeFazio on his own. DeFazio looks around at all three, looking for a way out, but is attacked by them. Giant Wraith grabs him and tosses him over the top rope to the floor.

“And the Fozzman goeth! These people are scary. They have some explaining to do and I think we are about to find out what their agenda is.”

Kevin Graves takes a microphone. He says that he first stepped into the ring as Quasar, a name he used as a tribute to his interest in astronomy. He said he was looking into the stars one night when he spotted something. He said he quickly realized that he was looking into a being of great power. This being said that he must seek out a dark messenger. He searched and found that messenger. He hands the microphone to Witchmere.

Witchmere says that she has hears the whispers and she communicates with this greater power. She is his messenger and has a message for everyone in RFW. The old god is coming. Everyone will feel his embrace. Aidan North was a necessary sacrifice to him. He is pleased but asks for more. He wants more followers. In time, they will amass a greater following, and with greater numbers, he will grow in power, eventually strong enough to fully consume our world. Witchmere says that she is the messenger. Giant Wraith is the guardian. She looks at Kevin Graves and places a hand on his chest. She says now the champion has awoken. From this day forward, the man once known as Kevin Graves is simply known as “Grave.”

All three stand in the ring, side by side, looking toward the sky. The lights go out again. When they come back on, the ring is empty.

“Huh. Well, that just happened.”

Jade climbs back into the ring and introduces the competitors for the next match. First out is Mysterie, who dances on her way to the ring. Next out is Yurei, who is all business on her way to the ring. As she steps through the ropes, she immediately charges at Mysterie and nails her with a lariat. The referee throws his hands on his head in shock before pushing Yurei back into a corner. Mysterie is slow to get up but steps into her corner. The referee calls for the bell.

Mysterie vs. Yurei

Yurei marches up to Mysterie and shoves her. Mysterie backs into the turnbuckle, apparently dazed, but as Yurei runs in for a splash, she slips out. Yurei slams into the turnbuckle and falls to the mat. Mysteries quickly goes for a pin but Yurei kicks out. Yurei gets up, enraged, and starts pummeling Mysterie. Yurei breaks down Mysterie with an array of power moves. Mysterie manages to slip out of a shoulder breaker attempt and begins to mount a comeback. Mysterie keeps Yurei flustered with a high flying offense. Mysterie goes for a hurricanrana but Yurei hangs onto her legs and stays on her feet. She overpowers Mysterie, turning the hurricanrana into a powerbomb and driving her into the mat. Yurei covers for a pin, winning the match.

“Yurei came out here a ball of fire and just torched Mysterie, who did put up a good fight herself. Keep an eye on Yurei. She has a mean streak that will get her places here in RFW!”

Yurei stands in the ring, glaring down at Mysterie, as Jade announces her the winner of the match.

Jade introduces the competitors of the next match. Out first is Rex Anarchy, who looks smug as he walks out to the ring. Out next is Cole Arcane, who makes a beeline for the ring. He throws his hoodie off as he is approaching the ring. Someone from the audience catches it. He slides into the ring and points at Rex Anarchy, saying something to him. Anarchy laughs the comment off. Both men take their corners and the referee calls for the bell.

“The first time these two met in the ring, it spilled out to the floor and they brought out everything but the kitchen sink! With the animosity between these two, I wouldn’t be surprised if the kitchen sink does come out. Wait… Maybe it did come out last time? Did it? Ah, I don’t remember. I just remember that it was a good match.”

Both men meet in the middle of the ring and lock up. Anarchy pushes Arcane into a corner. As he lets go, Arcane pops out from the corner with a leaping fist to Anarchy, knocking him down. Arcane dives on top of him and starts pummeling him with punches. Arcane gets up and starts stomping on Anarchy, who is trying to crawl away. Arcane picks up Anarchy by the head and slaps him hard across the face. Anarchy stumbles and turns backward. Arcane runs from behind and follows up with a bulldog. Arcane rolls Anarchy onto his back and climbs on top of him. He starts yelling into Anarchy’s face.

“This kid is really heated up right now but he needs to keep focused or he’s going to quickly find himself in a bad spot!”

Arcane starts mounting punches again. Anarchy’s nose is busted open. Arcane stands up and pulls Anarchy to his feet. He goes to hit a DDT on Anarchy but Anarchy slips out and stumbles back. Arcane runs at him for a clothesline but Anarchy spots it and hits a back body drop. Arcane bounces off the mat, arching his back in pain. Anarchy, seeing an opening, begins stomping away. He starts driving knees into Arcane’s back. Anarchy picks up Arcane and rattles his spine with an atomic drop. Arcane stumbles into the ropes and tries to hold himself up. Anarchy runs at him to clothesline him over the top, but Arcane ducks and pulls the top rope down. Anarchy flips over the ropes, crashes on the ring apron, and crumbles onto the floor. The crowd is cheering loudly for Cole Arcane as he pulls himself up to his feet and surveys the damage. He looks to a turnbuckle and the crowd goes nuts. Arcane climbs onto the turnbuckle and waits. Anarchy starts to get to his feet. Arcane jumps off and flattens him with a body splash. Both wrestlers are down on the floor.

“Here we go again! Cole Arcane has taken the action to the outside, where anything goes here in RFW!”

Cole Arcane starts to get up. Rex Anarchy reaches up and pulls Arcane back down from the back of his jean shorts. Anarchy crawls over Arcane’s body and starts slugging him in the face. Arcane rolls Anarchy off of him. Anarchy gets to his feet using the steel barricade. Arcane runs at him and clothelines him over the barricade into the crowd. The audience is on their feet and cheering. Both men stand up and start brawling in the audience. Anarchy stumbles over a chair and falls to the floor. Arcane starts approaching him and sees a fan with a cup of beer in his hand. He takes the beer, takes a swig, and splashes the rest into Anarchy’s face. Arcane pulls out a five dollar bill from his front pocket and hands it to the fan to pay him for the beer. The fan grins and cheers on Arcane. Arcane grabs Anarchy and pulls him back over to the barricade. He goes to throw Anarchy over but Anarchy elbows him in the chest and throws him over instead. Anarchy climbs over. The referee is nearing the twenty count. Anarchy rolls into the ring and then back out. He and Arcane continue to brawl on the outside. Arcane attempts to slam Anarchy’s head into the timekeeper’s bell but he blocks it and pushes Arcane off of him. Anarchy glances to his right and sees Jade standing there. He quickly grabs her and uses her as a shield. Arcane yells at him, standing back. Jade struggles to break free. Anarchy grins and shoves her at Arcane, who catches her. He turns his back on Anarchy as he checks on Jade, instinctively putting himself between her and his opponent. Anarchy grabs the ring bell and drives it into Arcane’s back. Arcane goes down to his knees, yelling in pain. Anarchy takes the ring bell and throws it into the back of Arcane’s head. Arcane sprawls out on the floor. Jade goes over to him and checks on him. Anarchy pulls Jade off. She pushes Anarchy back, who looks shocked, but then just sneers, picks up Arcane, and rolls him into the ring. He climbs into the ring and drives Arcane back down to the mat with a fisherman suplex. Anarchy covers for the pinfall victory.

“Anarchy used Jade as distraction and he just walked away with a victory in this one. Cole isn’t moving in the ring. I hope he’s alright. It is clear that Rex Anarchy will go to any length to win a match.”

Jade climbs into the ring and sits next to Cole Arcane, looking concerned as she checks on him. Rex Anarchy looks down at her. He pushes her on her back and points at himself, raising his arm in the air. She looks angry. He picks up her microphone on the mat and hands it to her. She shakes her head. He speaks into the microphone and tells Jade to do her job and announce him as the winner of the match. She shakes her head and says no. He tells her she is useless and now it makes sense. He says she and Cole Arcane are meant for each other because they are both wastes. Jade then kicks from the mat and nails Anarchy in the crotch. He falls to the mat, rolling around. Jade slides back over to Arcane. He starts to get up. He is assisted backstage by the referee. Jade tries to go backstage with him but Jim Rogers stops her. They have a conversation at ringside as Rex Anarchy leaves the ring.

“We have a real mess out here. It’s become more than just two guys fighting with each other. Jim is trying to get things back on track. The tension between Rex Anarchy and Cole Arcane is extremely volatile right now and it’s affecting everyone in its path.”

Jade steps back into the ring. She introduces Maria Estrella to the ring. Estrella comes out to the ring dressed casually. She slaps hands with audience members ringside and takes a selfie with one of the fans. She climbs into the ring and blows a kiss to the audience. Jade says that Estrella has requested an opportunity to speak to the audience tonight and asks her what she would like to say. Estrella says that she loves being in RFW, loves competing in the ring, and loves the loyal fans. She says one thing is bothering her in RFW and that is Cate Stiles. Estrella says that she and Jessie Vega became friends from the day they met in the locker room. She says that Vega is sitting at home, heartbroken that she can’t compete in this ring. She says that accidents happen and people get injured but what happened at the last episode was no accident. Stiles intended to break Vega’s ankle. Estrella says that she doesn’t like bullies, which is exactly what Stiles is. She knows that Stiles is not here tonight but is issuing a challenge for the next episode. She wants Stiles in the ring, one on one. The crowd cheers. Estrella says she is going to put Stiles in her place and knock her off of her high horse. Jim Rogers steps into the ring. Jade hands him the microphone. He clarifies to the audience that Cate Stiles has been barred from appearing tonight but will be at the next episode and is making the match between her and Maria Estrella official. Estrella celebrates with the audience before leaving.

“That’s a big match! Maria Estrella, looking to avenge her friend, gets Cate Stiles one on one next episode! I’ll pay for a ticket to see this one. Wait. I don’t have to. I actually get paid to watch it in person! Best job in the world, folks. Best job in the world.”

Jade announces that is it time for the main event. The ring crew begin to assemble the steel cage.

The cage is setup and Jade introduces Mark Blood to the ring. He comes down to ringside with a look of determination. He steps up to the cage and shakes it a few times before going up the steps and stepping through the door. He runs off the ropes a few times and then takes his place in a corner. King Donovan comes out next, dressed in a regal cape, sunglasses, and the RFW Championship title belt around his waist. He slowly walks to the ring, looking up at the cage before stepping through the door. He walks into the middle of the ring and demands the referee to remove the cape and title belt from him. The referee looks annoyed but does it anyway. Donovan takes off his sunglasses and hands them to the referee. The referee takes Donovan’s cape and sunglasses to the door where someone takes them.

“This guy is something else, isn’t he? You can’t see this right now, but that gross swishy sound you hear are my eyes rolling in their sockets. Our microphones are highly sensitive.”

King Donovan takes his corner as the referee shows Mark Blood the RFW Championship. The referee holds the title belt over his head and then hands it to someone at the door. The door is closed and locked. The referee calls for the bell.

Steel Cage Match for the RFW Championship

Mark Blood vs. King Donovan (c)

King Donovan stands in his corner and poses with his arms out, as if he was absorbing praise from the audience. Mark Blood just stares at him and motions for him to get in the middle of the ring. Donovan laughs and starts to walk out of his corner but then backs up as Blood approaches him. Blood does not look amused. Donovan leans back against the ropes and watches Blood. Blood looks to the crowd and they start to boo loudly. He looks back to Donovan and motions his hand to the crowd. Donovan starts walking toward Blood again and then retreats once again. Blood runs at him and slugs him in the face. Donovan retaliates and both men trade blows back and forth as the crowd starts to cheer. Both men lock up and Blood transitions it into a headlock, and then a takedown. Blood starts working down Donovan with some mat wrestling. Donovan tries to power out and get to his feet but is unable to.

Mark Blood continues weakening King Donovan down, focusing on his legs. Donovan finds himself locked in a figure four leglock. He tries to escape, reaching the ropes but finds no help from the referee.

“Yeah. That’s the thing with a steel cage match here in RFW. You can’t win by pin or submission. You need to get out of the cage by climbing out or through the door. The referee doesn’t have to break this hold because there is no submission. Donovan just has to get out of it on his own. Blood is smart to take Donovan out at the legs. It’ll make an escape much more difficult!”

Donovan, realizing he is stuck, sits up and starts punching Blood’s knee. Eventually, Blood releases the hold. Blood gets up and comes at Donovan again but is kicked in the stomach. Donovan uses the opportunity to pull himself up to his feet using the ropes. Blood comes at him again and kicks Donovan in the knee, taking him back down. Blood stomps on Donovan, again going after his knees. Donovan is curled up in a defensive position. Blood steps back, observes the situation, and then calls for the door to open. He starts walking toward the door but Donovan springs up, apparently playing opossum, and quickly puts Blood into a full nelson slam. Blood is down on the mat. Donovan slowly stands back up and starts going for the door himself. He gets to the ropes and starts to climb between the ropes but Blood recovers and dives onto Donovan, trying to pull him back into the ring. Donovan frees himself and tries to climb out again but Blood quickly leaps up to the top turnbuckle and stomps on Donovan, who is between the cage door and the ropes. Blood grabs the door and pulls it shut. Donovan starts get up on the ring apron but has his back to Blood, who grabs his head and starts ramming it into the cage. Donovan saves himself by rolling through the ropes back into the ring. Blood follows him into the ring. Blood grabs Donovan’s head and tries to throw him into the cage wall but Donovan reverses it and Blood crashes into the cage instead. He stumbles back but Donovan throws him against the ropes and into the cage again. Donovan once again throws Blood into the ropes but tosses him over the rope. Blood crashes into the cage wall, bounces into the ropes, bounces back into the cage, and slides down the steel on his way to the ring apron. Blood’s back begins bleeding from several cuts. Donovan quickly retreats to the other side of the ring and starts to climb up the cage. Blood manages to get back up and sees Donovan about halfway up the cage. Blood runs over, climbs onto the top rope, grabbing Donovan’s waist for balance, and then German suplexes Donovan from the cage down to the mat. Both men hit the mat with a huge bang and lay there while the crowd goes nuts.

“Mark Blood just German Suplexed King Donovan from the top rope! Both of them are knocked out from the looks of it! Both challenger and champion are clawing tooth and nail to win this match!”

Mark Blood starts to get up. He stumbles over to a turnbuckle and slowly climbs it. He falls into the cage wall and grabs on. After taking a moment, he starts to pull himself up the cage. King Donovan gets up and climbs the turnbuckle as well. He reaches up for Blood and gives him a back rake with his hands. Blood screams as the rake digs into the wounds on his back. He loosens his hold on the cage. Donovan tries to pull Blood off but he tightens his grip again and tries to kick Donovan off of the turnbuckle. Both men hold their position. Donovan starts pounding on Blood’s back. He again goes for a back rake, causing Blood to twitch and lose his grip. He falls down between the ropes and the cage wall. Donovan climbs down into the ring and pulls Blood in. He starts body slamming and suplexing Blood, attacking his back. He begins stomping on Blood. He picks up Blood and throws him into the cage again. Blood’s head is sliced open, now bleeding from the back and forehead.

“Mark Blood is living up to his namesake now, isn’t he? Eh.. That was a lame joke. I’m sorry.”

Mark Blood steps toward King Donovan and is hit with a big boot to the face. He falls to the mat. Donovan picks him up and tries to lock on a full nelson but Blood fights out of it, turns around with a big elbow smash. Donovan stumbles back. Blood comes at him, picks him up, and drills him into the mat with a brainbuster. Blood slowly gets up and works his way to the cage. He climbs up. He is nearing the top when Donovan gets up and starts climbing up behind him. Donovan grabs Blood’s leg as he is about to swing over to the other side of the cage wall. Blood tries to kick him off but Donovan reaches the top as well. Both men, sitting on the top of the cage, start pounding each other with fists. Donovan starts to teeter. Blood pushes him over, back into the ring. Donovan catches himself on the ropes and grips the cage on the way down, immediately trying to climb back up. Blood starts to pull his other leg over the cage wall but Donovan grabs it again. He starts to pull himself back up to cage. He positions himself behind Blood as he reaches the top of the cage once again. Blood tries to throw elbows behind him but Donovan grabs his arms and locks in a full nelson. From the top of the cage, King Donovan throws himself off of the cage to the mat, taking Mark Blood along with him in a brutal full nelson slam from the top of the cage. The crowd explodes with shock and excitement. Both men are motionless in the middle of the ring.

“DID I JUST SEE THAT??? King Donovan just hit Mark Blood with a full nelson slam from the top of the cage!!! I’m surprised the ring didn’t just explode!!! This crowd is deafening right now! I… I gotta catch my breath! That was one of the most extreme things I’ve ever seen in a wrestling match.”

King Donovan starts to move. He crawls to the door, unable to stand. He motions for the door to open. Referees on the outside open the door. He reaches the ring apron and tries to pull himself out to the steps. He can’t move and looks back to see Mark Blood, face down on the mat, clinging to his boot in a last ditch effort to keep the match going. Donovan shakes his leg and kicks Blood off of him. He climbs through the door and falls down to the steps to the floor, winning the match.

“Unbelievable. Love him or hate him, King Donovan earned this win tonight. By the looks of him, I wouldn’t say he will be walking out of here tonight, but regardless of how he exits, it’ll be with the RFW Championship title in his grasp. Amazing wrestling match. Mark Blood dug deep tonight. He may not have won the title, but he earned the respect of each and every fan in this building. That was awesome.”

King Donovan slowly gets to his feet on the outside, holding onto the cage for support. The referee presents him with the RFW Championship belt and Donovan demands the referee strap it to his waist. The referee raises his hand as Jade announces him the winner of the match and still RFW Champion. He grins as he looks in the ring where Mark Blood is being attended to by referees and medical staff. King Donovan slowly walks backstage. Mark Blood sits up and after a few moments gets to his feet with the aid of a referee. He looks around at the audience, who is cheering for him. He nods and mouths “thank you” to them before slowly making his way out of the ring.
