Ring Announcer and Interviewer: Jade
Commentary: Shawn Roberts and Jessie Vega
Jade is standing in the ring and welcomes the audience to the show. She introduces Jim “The Rebel” Rogers. He climbs into the ring, takes the microphone, and thanks everyone for coming. He says that he built RFW with the idea of loosening the rules to make the experience unique. He says that, for the most part, it’s been working, however, last week things got out of hand. He says that Jade was pulled in the middle of an altercation between Rex Anarchy and Cole Arcane. He said that this is unacceptable. Going forward, anyone who attacks, or willingly places a person who is not an active wrestler, in danger, they will be suspended indefinitely, possibly even fired. He says that the Anarchy/Arcane feud is heating up and he sees that as a benefit. Tonight, he says he is making the main event Rex Anarchy vs. Cole Arcane. The crowd cheers loudly. He also says that tonight, as promised, he is debuting some new talent to RFW and that starts right now. The crowd cheers again enthusiastically as he hands the microphone back to Jade.
Jade introduces the competitors of the first match. Out first is Andre Jordan. He looks smug as he makes his way to the ring. He jogs around the inside of the ring for a lap before pressing two fingers against his neck to check his pulse. He stretches in his corner while he waits for his opponent. Out next is Hiro Nishimoto. The crowd cheers as he jogs out to the ring, shadow boxing. He climbs the steps to the ring apron and ducks under the top rope. He throws a few practice kicks before bowing to the audience. Jordan rolls his eyes. Nishimoto takes his corner and the referee calls for the bell.
Andre Jordan vs. Hiro Nishimoto
Both men come out quickly to the middle of the ring. Jordan is trash talking as he is walking out. Nishimoto nails him with a quick kick to the side of his face. Jordan stumbles backward and falls to a sitting position on the mat. He looks shocked as he looks up at his opponent.
“Andre Jordan just learned that tonight is not going to be a cakewalk! Hiro Nishimoto isn’t testing the waters. He’s diving right in!” -Shawn Roberts
“I don’t think Andre expected that. I don’t think any of us did! Hiro Nishimoto just set the pace for this matchup!” -Jessie Vega
Jordan quickly jumps back up and comes at Nishimoto again. Nishimoto quickly strikes with a fist and goes for a flurry of them to follow up but Jordan covers his head, blocking them. Nishimoto bounces away from Jordan and comes in again. He goes for a kick to the ribs but Jordan catches his leg, pulls him in, and drills him down to the mat with a spinebuster. Jordan quickly jumps on top of Nishimoto and applies a headlock to slow the pace of the match. Nishimoto wrestles his way back to his feet and pushes Jordan off of him. Jordan runs to the ropes and bounces off coming at Nishimoto with a clothesline. Nishimoto ducks and waits for Jordan to come off the ropes again. When Jordan comes back off the ropes, Nishimoto tosses him with a monkey flip. Jordan quickly kicks up to his feet and faces Nishimoto. Nishimoto comes at him with a flurry of kicks to the ribs. Jordan tries to block his body and then takes a forearm to the face, knocking him down to a sitting position on the mat. Nishimoto runs off the ropes and cracks Jordan in the head with a swift kick. Jordan falls back onto the mat. Nishimoto covers but only gets a two count. Jordan uses the ropes to get to his feet. Nishimoto comes at Jordan but Jordan sees him coming out of the corner of his eye and shoulders him over the ropes to the floor. Jordan leans on the ropes and down at his opponent.
“Jordan is getting a workout in this fight. That’s for sure.” -Shawn Roberts
“Sure is. Hey, wait a second. Is that a Fitbit wristband he’s wearing during this match???” -Jessie Vega
“Well, Jessie, the man is serious about his cardio. He’s a supreme athlete.” -Shawn Roberts
Jordan laughs at the audience, who is booing him. He climbs through the ropes and approaches his downed opponent. He picks Nishimoto up off the floor and rolls him into the ring. He climbs up on the ring apron but before he can climb through the ropes, Nishimoto hops to his feet and nails him with a spin kick to the temple. Jordan falls limp off of the apron and to the floor outside.
“I think he’s out cold!” -Jessie Vega
The referee looks down at Jordan and climbs out of the ring. He kneels over Jordan and checks on him. The referee looks up to the time keeper and calls for the bell. Jade announces Hiro Nishimoto the winner by knockout. Jordan sits up, uneasy and confused. He looks up at Hiro Nishimoto in the ring celebrating and to the referee. The referee explains the situation.
“Andre Jordan does not look happy about the outcome of this match. It came out of nowhere!” -Jessie Vega
“RFW rules state that you can win a match by knockout and there’s no doubting that is what happened here. Hiro Nishimoto picks up his first win here in RFW!” -Shawn Roberts
Nishimoto leaves the ring. The referee helps Jordan to his feet. He pushes the referee away from him and walks backstage, looking very frustrated.
Jade is in the ring. She asks fans to welcome Aidan North and Mysterie to the ring. They come down to the ring and Jade asks them about their troubles with the Children of a Dark Dawn. Aidan North says that he was setup and attacked by them several weeks ago in what the Children called a sacrifice to their higher power. He says that their god must be disappointed in them because they couldn’t get the job done. He is still standing. The crowd cheers. He says that last episode they used the strength in numbers to try and take out Mysterie so they are banding together to even the odds. He lays out a challenge. He says he knows that the Children are not in the building tonight but says that he and Mysterie want Witchmere and Grave in a tag team match at the next episode. North and Mysterie high five each other before standing on the turnbuckles and interacting with the audience before they leave.
“Well, they’ve got guts. I’ll give them that. You know the odds won’t totally be even, though. Giant Wraith is sure to be hanging out at ringside!” -Shawn Roberts
“Maybe not but they both have want revenge for what happened to them. It’s extra motivation. They are going to be that much hotter when they get into that ring.” -Jessie Vega
Jade is still standing in the ring and introduces the competitors for the next match. Out first is Oleg Azarov who looks pumped up for this match. He climbs into the ring and poses. The audience boos but he seems unaffected. He takes his place in the corner. After Azarov’s music stops playing, the audience is left waiting momentarily before the next competitor’s music begins to play. As Koji Otaka steps into the arena, the fans burst into cheers. He looks serious as he stares at the ring on his way down, blindly slapping a few hands along the way down the aisle. He climbs into the ring and stares directly at Azarov before shadow boxing and taking his corner. The referee calls for the bell.
Oleg Azarov vs. Koji Otaka
Both men walk up to each other in the middle of the ring. Azarov points a finger in Otaka’s face as he taunts him. Otaka stares at Azarov and slowly pushes Azarov’s hand aside. Azarov laughs and then slaps Otaka hard in the face. Otaka steps back, stares at Azarov and shakes his head. He quickly lunges toward Azarov and throws him with a belly to belly suplex. Azarov hits the mat and before he can get up, Otaka grabs him from behind and throws him again with a dragon suplex. Azarov rolls to try and get out of the ring but is grabbed by the jaw and picked up to his feet. He goes to punch Otaka but Otaka blocks the punch, grabs Azarov’s head and drops him with a neckbreaker. He covers but Azarov kicks out. Azarov finds the ropes quickly slides under them to the outside. He paces around the ring to catch his breath. Otaka stands in the ring, following Azarov with his eyes. Azarov looks up at Otaka and tells him to wait. Azarov continues pacing the ring. Otaka slides under the ropes in front of Azarov and both men start trading fists. Azarov starts hitting a string of punches, following up with a tackle. Azarov stands up and puts his boot on Otaka’s neck, choking him. The referee slides out of the ring and tells Azarov to back off. The referee starts a five count. Azarov steps off and backs away. As Otaka starts to get to his feet, Azarov grabs him and gets him in position for a piledriver.
“Good lord, no! Don’t do that!” -Jessie Vega
“This is not good. Not on the floor! He’ll break his neck for sure!” -Shawn Roberts
The referee is throwing his hands around, trying to tell Azarov to stop. He tries to pick up Otaka but is unable to and Otaka reverses it for a back body drop. Azarov growls in pain as he grabs his back. Otaka looks at the audience and then gives out a battle cry before bashing Azarov in the head with several punches. He picks up Azarov off the floor and throws him into the steel steps. Azarov rolls out into the aisle way. He stands up, turns toward the ring, and is hit with a massive clothesline by Otaka. The crowd cheers. Otaka grabs Azarov by the head and starts dragging him to the ring. As the referee’s back is turned while getting back into the ring himself, Azarov slips out of Otaka’s grasp and nails him with a low blow. Otaka falls over. Azarov grabs the steel steps and waits for Otaka to start to get up. Azarov runs at Otaka blasts him in the head with the steps. Azarov laughs as he rolls Otaka into the ring. He mocks the fans, clapping for himself while they boo him. He climbs into the ring and immediately sets Otaka up for another piledriver. He hits a spike piledriver and quickly covers. Otaka barely kicks out before the three count. Azarov stands up and starts stomping on Otaka.
“Not the time to lose your temper. Oleg Azarov needs to keep his cool. He’s got the advantage right now. He needs to be smart about this.” -Shawn Roberts
“Koji looks pretty out of it. Azarov is no pushover but I think this would be considered an upset victory if he can pull this off!” -Jessie Vega
“Otaka is one of the toughest wrestlers on the planet. No doubt this would be an upset victory!” -Shawn Roberts
Azarov sits down and pulls Otaka up into a sitting position. He locks on a sleeper hold. Otaka tries to pull Azarov’s arm away but is unable to. He starts to slow down and fade. The crowd starts chanting “O-tak-a!” over and over. Otaka starts to kick his heel into the mat in unison. He raises a shaking fist into the air and brings it back into Azarov’s head. Azarov tries to avoid the punches but they work just enough to loosen the sleeper hold. Otaka slips free and starts to stand up. Azarov comes right at him again but Otaka grabs his legs and flips him to the mat. He quickly applies a sharpshooter. Azarov cries out as he tries to find a ring rope. He is unable to and digs his palms into the mat. He uses all of his strength to lift himself off the mat and gives himself leverage to break free from the submission hold. Azarov rolls away and sits in a corner. He gets to his feet using the ropes but has his back to Otaka. Otaka comes up from behind and pulls Azarov away from the corner, putting him in an abdominal stretch before dipping him down and placing a leg over Azarov’s head.
“That’s the octopus hold! One of Koji Otaka’s favorite moves. Right now, Azarov is likely having trouble catching his breath. His back, his sides, his neck, everything, is screaming out in pain!” -Shawn Roberts
Azarov knee buckles and he falls over, forcing Otaka to release the hold. Otaka immediately comes up from behind Azarov, pulls him to his feet and quickly throwing him down with a dragon suplex. Otaka covers for a pin and gets the victory.
“Wow! Anyone unfamiliar with Koji Otaka’s work in Japan knows exactly who he is tonight! Oleg Azarov is one of the strongest, hardest hitting guys in RFW but Otaka still managed to come out on top. Well done!” -Jessie Vega
Jade announces Koji Otaka the winner of the match as the referee raises his hand. Oleg Azarov rolls out of the ring and walks backstage. Otaka celebrates in the ring before leaving.
Jade asks the audience to welcome Mark Blood to the ring. The crowd cheers as Mark Blood comes out to the ring in casual dress. He steps into the ring and interacts with the audience before stepping up to Jade, who is waiting for him in the middle of the ring. Jade welcomes him and asks how he is feeling after the steel cage match he had with RFW Champion, King Donovan, two episodes ago. Blood says that it was one of the most brutal matches he ever had in his life. He says he fought his heart out but since he isn’t wearing gold around his waist, it wasn’t enough. He says that he’s man enough to admit that King Donovan was the better man that night but there will be a next time. Suddenly, Cate Stiles music begins to play and she comes down to the ring.
“Really? What is this about?” -Jessie Vega
Stiles steps into the ring and tells Jade to give her the microphone. Jade hands it over and steps back. Stiles says that she hopes Blood doesn’t think she has forgotten about him. She says that King Donovan wasn’t the better man but that Blood just doesn’t have what it takes to be a champion. She asks what he’s done in RFW other than fail every attempt to become champion. Blood takes another microphone and says that he beat her in a match. Stiles smirks and says she is the most dominant wrestler in RFW. She cites her victory over Maria Estrella last episode and then points to the commentary desk and says that Jessie Vega was dominated so badly she can’t even wrestle anymore.
“That was over the line! Don’t listen to her.” -Shawn Roberts
“…” -Jessie Vega
Mark Blood asks Stiles why she is out here. Stiles says she doesn’t want to hear him talk about getting a “next time.” Stiles says that she wants to put him in his place and make him realize that he isn’t a top tier wrestler. Mostly, Stiles says, she just doesn’t like him. Blood laughs and says that if she really wants to settle this, they can fight right now. The audience begins to cheer but Stiles puts a finger up and wags it back and forth to the audience. Stiles says that she is too good to be seen in the middle of the card. Stiles says that she wants the main event slot.
Jim Rogers climbs into the ring. He says that tonight’s main event is already set. They can either have a match right now or he can make it the main event for the next episode. Blood points to the mat and tries to rile up the audience for the match to happen. Stiles backs away with a smirk and waves at him. She says “main event” off microphone as she steps under the ropes and walks toward the back. The audience boos. Rogers tells the audience that Cate Stiles vs. Mark Blood will happen next episode. Mark Blood watches Stiles head backstage, looking angry.
“We’ve got our main event set for the next episode! Stiles vs. Blood. These two are no strangers. I expect this one is going to be good! Go get her, Mark!” -Jessie Vega
“You have to hand it to Cate Stiles. She knows how to control a situation, making Mark Blood and all of us waiting for the next episode to have this match go down.” -Shawn Roberts
Jade announces that it is time for the main event. Cole Arcane comes out first. He walks straight to the ring, grabs a microphone from ringside, and then climbs into the ring. He says that he would like to apologize to Jade in front of everyone. He said she did not deserve to be caught in the middle of the issues he has with Rex Anarchy. He goes to step toward Jade but she takes a step back. She tells Arcane that she has worked hard to get where she is and thinks she has earned respect. She says that he could have done this backstage but instead is using her to save face. Arcane tells her that she is wrong. He’s just trying to make things right. Before Jade can respond, Rex Anarchy’s music begins to play and he comes out with a microphone of his own. He tells Arcane that he’s become a joke in RFW. Not only is he a poor excuse for a wrestler, but he’s got poor taste in women. Jade looks insulted. Arcane throws his microphone and runs out of the ring toward Anarchy. They both start slugging it out in the aisleway. After throwing each other around, Jim Rogers steps into the ring with a microphone. He yells at both Anarchy and Arcane and tells them that if they can’t even get into the ring to fight, then he will accommodate. He says the match is now a falls count anywhere match. The crowd cheers. Anarchy and Arcane pause and look at Rogers in the ring. Anarchy looks irritated at the change of rules. Arcane uses the opportunity to clothesline Anarchy to the floor.
“This one is already out of control and the match hasn’t even started yet!” -Jessie Vega
“I hope you brought some coffee because this one could go all night!” -Shawn Roberts
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Cole Arcane vs. Rex Anarchy
The referee calls for the bell and then runs out to the aisle to get close to the action. Cole Arcane is pounding away on Rex Anarchy on the floor with a series of punches. Anarchy tries to block his face and manages to roll out from under Arcane. He stumbles to his feet and tries to run backstage but Arcane grabs him by the neck and whips him into the steel barricade face first. Anarchy is busted open, bleeding from the forehead.
“That didn’t take long.” -Jessie Vega
Anarchy once again tries to run away, this time toward the ringside area. Arcane comes up from behind and clotheslines him from behind. Arcane stomps on Anarchy’s back several times. Arcane finally removes his hoodie that he was wearing to the ring and throws it on top of Anarchy. Anarchy flails his arms to get the hoodie off of him and once again takes off toward the ring. As Arcane grabs ahold of him, Anarchy mule kicks him, turns around, and yanks Arcane by the arm toward the ring apron. Arcane’s chest hits the apron and he crumples against the side of the ring before falling over on his back. Anarchy bends down and reaches under the ring apron. He pulls out a steel chair and swings it down onto Arcane. Arcane sees it at the last moment and tries to roll out of the way. He can’t quite make it and his shoulder takes the brunt of the hit. Arcane cries out in pain. Anarchy swings the chair into Arcane again and again. As Anarchy steps back and readies himself for a big swing, Arcane rolls under the ring. Anarchy drops the chair and starts to crawl under the ring as well but quickly comes back out, holding his face. He stands there, trying to shake the cobwebs as Arcane slips out from under the ring apron on another side of the ring. He runs onto the ring steps and uses it to launch himself at Anarchy with a flying fist. Both men lay on the floor. Anarchy appears to be dazed and Arcane is holding his shoulder, still feeling the effects of the chair shots.
“I’m not sure what Cole Arcane used under the ring to hit Rex with but it worked. He has gotten back on even footing with Anarchy in this match.” -Shawn Roberts
“I don’t think I would call this a match. It’s just a fight!” -Jessie Vega
Arcane gets up first and pulls himself into the ring. He gets to his feet, taunting Anarchy to get into the ring with him. Rex Anarchy gets to the ring and starts to slide in but pulls back out, laughs, and starts to step backwards. Arcane runs at him and dives through the ropes. Anarchy, unprepared, is tackled to the floor. Arcane quickly gets up and screams, working himself up. The crowd cheers and starts chanting his name. Anarchy is starting to get up. Arcane grabs him and drives him back down with a vertical suplex. Arcane covers for a pin but Anarchy kicks out. Anarchy sits up, holding his lower back before he rolls over and stands up. Arcane comes at him again but is kicked in the gut. Anarchy goes for a series of punches before whipping Arcane into the ring apron again. Arcane is able to avoid hitting the apron and instead dives into the ring. Anarchy runs in after him. Both men get to their feet and start slugging it out in the middle of the ring. The crowd is cheering loudly as punches are exchanged. Arcane takes one to the jaw and starts to waver on his feet for a moment. Anarchy follows up with three more punches and then a clothesline. He covers for a pin but only gets a two count. He pushes Arcane’s shoulders down again and tries for a second pin. Arcane kicks out at one. Anarchy picks up Arcane and tries to use a fisherman suplex on him. Arcane blocks and starts jabbing Anarchy in the ribs with punches. Anarchy releases his hold. Arcane quickly grabs an arm, slips behind Anarchy is applies a crossface chickenwing submission. Anarchy cries out as he tries to power out of it. Arcane pulls Anarchy to the mat, preventing him from getting to a ring rope. The crowd bursts into cheers as they sense victory is within Cole Arcane’s grasp.
“It may be a falls count anywhere match but Cole Arcane is looking to finish this one right in the center of the ring!” -Jessie Vega
“The crossface chickenwing is incredibly painful and Rex has found himself in the worst possible position for getting out of it. He’s going to have to do something desperate to get out of this one!” -Shawn Roberts
Rex Anarchy uses his free arm to reach up and grabs one of Cole Arcane’s ears. He starts pulling on it. Arcane cries out but continues to apply the submission. After another moment, he lets go and rolls away. He grabs his ear, making sure it is still attached, and then looks up and sees Anarchy retreating out of the ring. Arcane follows. Anarchy looks back and jumps the barricade into the audience. Arcane climbs over and runs at him. Right in the middle of the crowd, both men start brawling once again. This time, Arcane wins out in the battle of fists and grabs Anarchy in a headlock. He points forward, signaling for a bulldog on the floor. He runs but Anarchy pushes him off at the last moment. Arcane’s momentum continues to push him forward and he is suddenly hit with a standing drop kick by someone in the crowd. Arcane falls to the floor.
“Who is that?!? Get him out of here! Fans can’t get involved in the matches! They can’t touch the wrestlers! Get security out there!” -Shawn Roberts
“Hold on a second. I think I saw that guy backstage today.” -Jessie Vega
“What?” -Shawn Roberts
Rex Anarchy laughs as he walks over to the man who hit Cole Arcane with the drop kick and slaps him on the shoulder. The man, with long black hair, a tank top, and leather pants, picks up Arcane and holds him so Anarchy can deliver a series of body blows and then a forearm to the face. The referee and security guards pull the man off and security hauls him away. Anarchy drives Arcane down with a fisherman buster on the floor. He covers for the pinfall victory.
Jade announces Rex Anarchy the winner. Anarchy stands up and laughs. The referee raises his arm and then starts to question him about what just happened. Anarchy just laughs and walks away through the crowd. The referee checks on Cole Arcane who is dazed on the floor.
“We leave you with a very strange end to the night. Rex Anarchy just walked away with a victory over Cole Arcane with the help of… someone. We need to get to the bottom of this situation.” -Shawn Roberts
“I think this setup was Rex Anarchy’s plan all along. We’re bound to get the answers we are looking for on our next episode.” -Jessie Vega
“Until then, good night, everyone!” -Shawn Roberts
