Nick from Houston writes:

I’m a big fan! Question is for Killer Malone. How does it feel to be in RFW?

Good question, Nick. Killer Malone has recently joined the RFW ranks so we, too, were curious about his new gig.

“What a pointless question. How do you think I feel? There is a lot of buzz around RFW right now. I am here to put every puke backstage in their place and take that Titan Championship.”

Todd from Allentown asks:

I was wondering if I could ask Jax Rivers a question. Jax, how does it feel to have won several titles and become one of the most high profile wrestlers in the world in what is still a relatively young career?

Of course you can ask a question, Todd! We passed your question along to RFW’s Titan Champion, Jax Rivers.

“Having this much success at this stage in my career still feels unreal, man! Anything can happen in this sport. While I have worked hard to get here, I know a lot of it is being in the right place at the right time and making the most of every opportunity. Despite how great things are for me right now I am never satisfied. I intend to only go higher and I hope you, and all the other great RFW fans, stick with me for the ride!”

Match Results

The show kicked off in a big way with the Number One Contender’s Match for the RFW Valkyrie Championship. Maria Estrella came down to the ring full of energy as she interacted with fans on the way to the ring. She climbed a turnbuckle and blew a kiss before taking her corner, stretching her limbs to prepare for the match.

Annika came down to the ring next. She recoiled from a few fans who reached out to her from behind the ringside guardrail. She slipped into the ring and stared at Maria Estrella from her corner while she waited for the match to begin.

Number One Contender’s Match
Maria Estrella vs. Annika

The match got off to a strong start for Maria Estrella. Estrella’s power move based offense dominated the early minutes of the match. Estrella went for some early pin attempts but Annika kicked out of them. A countered clothesline attempt was the opening that Annika needed to swing the offense in her favor.

Annika used some strong kicks to Estrella’s ribs and slowed things down with holds following a judo throw takedown. Annika kept the pressure on Estrella’s arm and shoulder. Estrella was able to finally able to defend and start to fight back. The match went back and forth, though it was obvious that Estrella’s arm was weakened, limiting some of her offense. Though Estrella seemed to have an opportunity to go for a running powerslam, Annika was able to escape her grip and locked in an armbar submission. Estrella tried to break the hold by reaching for a rope but was too far away and submitted, giving Annika the victory.

Annika was announced the winner and new number one contender for the RFW Valkyrie Championship. She stood in the ring with her arm raised and yelled out that she would be next champion.

Vito DeFazio Questions His Future

Vito DeFazio has been winless during his time in RFW. After his most recent loss, he appeared to be devastated and that look on his face was no different when he came out to the ring. He told the audience that he had high hopes when he came back to RFW. He had plans and nothing has worked out for him. DeFazio said that he questions why RFW even brought him back and wondered out loud if they brought him out of pity or because they wanted to laugh at him. He said he came to the conclusion that he is going to leave RFW.

RFW President C.W. Sunderland came out to the ring. He told DeFazio to reconsider his decision. Sunderland said that he brought DeFazio back because he believes in him and knows he can be a great part of the roster. DeFazio said Sunderland doesn’t need to blow smoke and starts to leave. Sunderland stops him and said he knows what DeFazio needs to get over his losing streak. He asks DeFazio to come back at the next show. Sunderland promises he can help. DeFazio nodded and quietly left the ring.

Opening The Toolbox

After getting into a brawl involving a metal pipe at the last show, Pit Viper and “Badlands” Bill Stanton were set to do battle in a Weapons Match. Pit Viper came down to the ring first with a metal pipe once again in hand. He tapped it against an open palm while he wanted for his opponent.

“Badlands” Bill Stanton came out to the ring with something of his own, an entire garbage can filled with baseball bats, pipes, kendo sticks, a shovel, and a metal rake. He tossed the can into the ring, sending the tools and other weapons spilling around the ring. The referee appeared to be nervous about what he was about to officiate.

Pit Viper vs. “Badlands” Bill Stanton

At the sound of the bell, Stanton taunted Pit Viper to move in closer. Pit Viper refused only seemed to grip the metal pipe tighter. Stanton picked up the trash can and tossed it across the ring at Pit Viper, who dodged out of the way. Stanton picked up a baseball bat and both men began to circle around the ring. Pit Viper feigned an attack and then tried to retreat but Stanton saw through the deception and charged at him. Stanton jabbed Pit Viper in the back of the knee with the bat, causing him to fall. Stanton raised the baseball bat in the air to the applause of the audience and then jumped on Pit Viper with the bat, slamming it down on his back.

Stanton continued his attack on Pit Viper, clotheslining him with the baseball bat and then transitioning to pummeling with fists. Stanton dominated as he threw Pit Viper around the ring. Pit Viper kept trying to escape the ring but Stanton stayed on him. As Pit Viper crawled around on the mat, Stanton took a metal rake and dragged it across his back. Pit Viper howled out in pain and Stanton did it a second time. Stanton suplexed Pit Viper onto the garbage can, which crumpled almost flat. Stanton covered for the win but Pit Viper kicked out.

Pit Viper took another shot to the head from Stanton’s baseball bat. As blood flowed down Pit Viper’s face, he blindly threw punches that Stanton easily dodged. Stanton looked to have the match won but Pit Viper found his metal pipe and used it to low blow Stanton. Stanton hit the mat hard and Pit Viper quickly took the opportunity to deal out some abuse to him. Pit Viper used his metal pipe, repeatedly driving it into Stanton’s back and side. He picked up a kendo stick and whipped it over and over on Stanton’s chest. In an act of payback, Pit Viper went for the metal rake and went to drag it across Stanton’s face but the veteran saw it coming and pulled the rake forward, dragging Pit Viper into his grasp. Stanton dropped him with a belly-to-belly suplex and covered for a pin but Pit Viper kicked out once again. The match continued and Stanton looked ready to finish Pit Viper off with a spear. Pit Viper saw Stanton coming and had the ring awareness to see a shovel near his feet. In one quick move, he ducked down, grabbed the shovel handle, and swung. The end of the shovel hit Stanton in the head, sending him crashing to the mat. Pit Viper quickly covered and picked up the victory in the match.

After the bell, Pit Viper slipped out of the ring and celebrated as he walked backward in the aisle. He laughed at Stanton who was back in the ring shaking his head and trying to stand up. When he finally got to his feet, he looked disappointed but shrugged to the crowd.

Last Man Standing

Tensions between Mark Blood and Koji Otaka have escalated to the point that both men were set to settle their differences in a Last Man Standing Match. Koji Otaka came down to the ring first and took his corner looking very intense.

Mark Blood came down to the ring next. He stepped through the ropes and taunted Otaka, who did not seem to react at all. Blood took his corner.

Last Man Standing Match
Koji Otaka vs. Mark Blood

The match started off looking like a normal technical wrestling match. Both men showed off some chain wrestling skills while trying to get the best of one another. The audience cheered as Koji Otaka exploded out of a headlock with a powerslam and began an offensive rally that saw Mark Blood get crushed into the mat with power moves. Otaka laid in some fists and forearm strikes as well. Blood refused to stay down, however, and continued to get up from the attacks.

Mark Blood drove his shoulder into Otaka’s gut, giving him an opportunity to inflict some damage of his own. He heavily focused on Otaka’s lower back, utilizing atomic drops, knees to the back, and submissions. Otaka started making a comeback and clotheslined Blood over the ropes. He followed, taking the action to the outside.

Both men brutalized each other outside the ring. Koji Otaka was body slammed on top of a table and then driven through it with an elbow drop. Mark Blood was driven into the steel steps and then powerbombed on them. Chairs were cracked over each man’s back. Blood used the timekeeper’s bell, blasting Otaka in the head. Blood quickly rolled Otaka into the ring and the referee started a ten count. Though dazed, Otaka was able to get to his feet by the count of seven. Blood stayed on his opponent, continuing the attack. He demanded the referee count Otaka out two more times but each attempt Otaka got back up in time.

Blood went for his devastating tombstone piledriver to finish Otaka off for good but the Japanese star managed to escape and began to turn the match in his favor, now working hard to finish off Blood. Otaka nailed a Dragon Suplex and the referee began to count Blood out. As the count against Blood rose and it looked like he may not get up in time, Koji Otaka was suddenly struck from behind! Dan Masters, a former NRWL star who made a name for himself wrestling in Japan and had a lengthy feud against Otaka, had arrived in RFW and went right after his old rival. Masters destroyed Otaka in the ring. The referee stopped his count to try and break up the attack. It was just what Mark Blood needed to get back up. Blood walked over to Masters and both men exchanged a fist bump before both attacking Otaka together. Blood drove Otaka to the mat with a tombstone piledriver. The referee had no choice but to count to ten, awarding Mark Blood the victory.

Blood stood over Otaka’s motionless body and raised an arm. Dan Masters patted him on the back and looked out into the crowd with a smug look. Both men left the ring together.

Stronger Than Words

RFW Titan Champion Jax Rivers came down to the ring for an interview. The crowd applauded as he climbed a turnbuckle and held the title belt over his head. He was asked about his upcoming title defense against King Donovan at the next show. Rivers said that King Donovan is a great wrestler but it’s clear to everyone that he is lost without the Titan Championship title in his possession. Rivers said that Donovan’s lust for the championship will prove to be his downfall. When asked if he feels confident in defending the title, Rivers responded by saying that he wouldn’t be a very good champion if he didn’t believe he is the best wrestler in RFW. He said he will take Donovan down and will continue his reign as champion.

King Donovan’s music began to play and he came down to the ring with a microphone in hand. Donovan climbed through the ropes and waited for his music to stop before speaking. He took a moment and put the microphone to his lips. Instead of speaking, he tossed the microphone at Rivers’ head. Rivers instinctually went to catch the microphone and that’s when Donovan leveled the champion with a clothesline. He reached down and grabbed the Titan Championship belt. As Rivers stood up, Donovan blasted him in the head with it. Rivers fell to the mat on his knees. Donovan stood behind him and picked him up off the mat before driving him back down with a full nelson slam. The crowd booed as King Donovan stood in the ring with the RFW Titan Championship in his hand. He looked at it confidently. He then kissed the belt and draped it over the champion’s chest as he lay on the mat before leaving.

The Grudge Match

Cate Stiles and Jessie Vega have had a rivalry dating back to the very first RFW show. The vicious war continued with a main event match that served as Stiles official return to action following an elbow injury caused by Vega.

Jessie Vega came down to the ring first. The crowd booed her as she climbed into the ring but she got up a turnbuckle and posed for them anyway, flashing a peace sign toward the crowd.

After Vega’s music stopped, there was a pause as the crowd started chanting Cate

Stiles name. Vega appeared irritated by the audience excitement for her opponent. Finally, Stiles music began to play the crowd erupted. Cate Stiles walked down to the ring slowly. She pointed up to Vega in the ring and said something that caused Vega to respond in kind. Stiles climbed into the ring and paced around it before taking her corner and stretching. An elbow brace was clearly visible under her elbow pad.

Jessie Vega vs. Cate Stiles

As soon as the bell rang, both women stood in the middle of the ring face-to-face. They exchanged words before Vega took a step back. She leaned attempting a punch but Stiles saw it coming and dodged before responding with a shot of her own. Stiles followed up with more strikes. Vega fell to the mat and Stiles climbed on her and threw more fists. Vega blocked as best she could. She managed to push Stiles off and backed into a corner, pleading for mercy. As Stiles got in close, Vega kicked Stiles in the shin, dropping her to her knees. Vega quickly reached for Stiles’ bad arm and locked in a double wrist lock. Stiles yelled out in pain as Vega tried to end the match early with the painful submission. Stiles was too close to the ropes and was able to reach one and cause the referee to break the hold.

Vega continued her attack on Stiles, working primarily on the right arm. Stiles turned things around quickly, however, and the crowd cheered as she started to suplex Vega around the ring. Stiles began attacking Vega’s right leg with holds and stomps. Stiles continued to wear down Vega, pulling her back in every time she tried to escape.

Stiles attempted to finish the match with the ankle lock but Vega was able to break herself free of the hold before it was completely locked in. Though Stiles tried to follow up with another attack, Vega turned things around and started to make a comeback. She drove Stiles down on her elbow and then pulled off the elbow pad and brace. Vega rammed Stiles arm into a turnbuckle. Stiles fell to the mat in pain. Vega climbed the turnbuckle to go for her frogsplash finisher but before she could turn around, Stiles was back up and followed. Stiles grabbed Vega from behind and sent Vega back down to the mat with a super back suplex from the turnbuckle. The impact on Stiles’ arm was noticeable and she writhed around on the ring unable to capitalize. Vega recovered and went in for another double wrist lock. Stiles tried to break the hold but was unable to on her own. With her free hand just about to tap, one of her feet managed to find a ring rope, barely draping her toes across it to cause the referee to break the hold.

Vega stood up and looked down at Stiles. She screamed at Stiles to give up. As she leaned in to pick Stiles up, she was caught in a small package. Vega kicked out and rolled back up to quickly retaliate but Stiles stood up ready to fight. Both women started throwing punches, Stiles reduced to just her left hand for strikes. Vega grabbed Stiles by the bad arm and jerked it hard as she whipped Stiles into a corner. Vega quickly followed and went for a flying knee into the corner. The knee strike nailed Stiles in the bad elbow. Stiles cried out and hit the mat hard. Vega saw an opportunity and dragged Stiles by the bad arm to the middle of the ring. For the third time, Vega applied the double wrist lock. Stiles cried out in pain and though she tried hard to fight it, she was forced to tap out.

The crowd was shocked as the bell rang. Vega leaped to her feet and looked elated to have won the match. After getting her hand raised, her face turned to one of malice. She looked down at Stiles who was on her knees clutching her arm. Vega began attacking again. She tried to apply yet another double wrist lock but Stiles was able to push Vega away. Stiles fought back and clipped Vega at the knees. Stiles grabbed Vega’s ankle and put her in the ankle lock. The referee tried to break the hold but Stiles held on tight despite being in pain herself. The ring bell continued to ring. Vega cried out as Stiles ripped and tore at Vega’s leg with the ankle lock. Vega slapped her hand hard on the mat in the futile attempt to tap out.

Maria Estrella ran down to the ring and slid in under the bottom rope. She pleaded with Stiles to release the hold. Stiles refused as Vega continued to scream. Estrella then forcefully broke Stiles’ grip and pushed her away from Vega. Stiles looked enraged as she stood there holding her arm. Estrella stared back for a moment before sitting down next to her former best friend as she lay on the mat clutching her ankle as tears rolled down her face. Estrella stayed with Vega as Stiles slowly made her way out of the ring and back down the aisle way, never taking her eyes off of them.
