News

Andre Jordan Returns to RFW

One of the original RFW wrestlers is returning to the fold. Andre Jordan has signed a new deal with RFW and will be back in action at the next show. While waiting for his return, check out the Pilot Series (Issues #001-006) to follow his career up to this point.

New Wrestlers Signed to RFW

RFW has announced the signing of two new wrestlers to its ranks. Both are expected to debut soon.

Aurora Starkey, a second generation wrestler and world champion wrestler, is coming to Rapid Fire Wrestling. Starkey relies on her size and strength to overpower her opponents. Her father, Gordon Starkey, wrestled throughout the 90s and taught Aurora the family business. She is expected to make a big impact in the Women’s Division in RFW when she debuts.

Kami King may be petite but she is as courageous as anyone you’d ever come across. King has earned fans by putting on entertaining matches no matter who the opponent. She can fly off the turnbuckles while still having an arsenal of traditional wrestling moves at her disposal. Her in-ring style will add an exciting dynamic to the RFW Women’s Division.

Outside The Ring

Vito DeFazio Says He Is Ready For Action

After taking some time away from the RFW ring to work with his life coach, Hardworkin’ Dave Smith, Vito DeFazio is set to return to action. DeFazio was at an autograph signing and told fans he has a whole new attitude and is ready to make a real impact in RFW “very soon”.

King Donovan Opens Upscale Restaurant

Anyone who happens to be in London, England and has an enormous wallet may want to check out King Donovan’s new restaurant, “The King’s Table”. Donovan opened the restaurant with his business associates and several of the world’s best chefs. The restaurant itself is said to be beautiful, with stunning artwork on the walls and immaculate tables with fancy centerpieces. RFW was not allowed access inside to verify this as we were told that we “simply aren’t up to standards.” Further, we have been told that the meals served are fantastic, however, with appetizers priced as high as an average mortgage payment, only the richest of the rich can afford to eat there.

Mailbag

We love hearing from our fans. Send in your questions and comments to your favorite wrestler. You never know what they might say!

Bethany from Texas writes: jade! u suck! how culd u leave some1 as hot as cole arcane?!?! ur loss, im gonna marry him!

Bethany, thanks for writing to us. You sure are a passionate Cole Arcane fan! We are sending you a Cole Arcane t-shirt and an autographed photo. You should see it arrive in the mail in about six months! Anyway, here is Jade’s response:

“Listen, sweetheart. Cole Arcane is a loser. Now that I am free of his dead weight, I’m going places. As for you? You go ahead and marry him. Honestly, even Cole is probably a step up for you.”

Lenny from Birmingham writes:

“Hey. Where has Snarl been lately? Haven’t seen him in a few weeks.”

Uhh… Hey, Lenny. Snarl wrestled for Masters of Wrestling and hasn’t made a public appearance since 1997. We couldn’t get in touch with him but if he reads this I’m sure he’ll appreciate you thinking of him.

Kendra from Ontario has a question for Hardworkin’ Dave Smith:

“I am so happy to see you! I was a huge fan of your in NRWL. I think it’s so nice that you are helping Vito DeFazio but is there any chance you will get back in the ring for another match?”

You aren’t the only one to ask this question, Kendra. A lot of fans have been wondering the same thing. Dave Smith gave us our answer:

“I’m here to show Vito DeFazio how hard work and dedication will get you places. That is my focus right now but you never know when these old work boots will get another go in the wrestling ring. Thanks for being a fan after all these years. One of the best things about being in

RFW is to interact with all of you great fans again. I’ve missed you!”

Show Results

After Witchmere’s shocking turn on Grave and Giant Wraith, the Children of a Dark Dawn appear to be disbanded. Questions were raised about her alliance with Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper and those questions were answered right at the start of the show.

Rex Anarchy, Pit Viper, and Witchmere came down to the ring. All three were dressed in jeans and black t-shirts with an anarchy symbol. Witchmere’s shirt was tight to her body and sleeveless and the facepaint she used to wear was gone. All three stepped into the ring and Anarchy looked around at the audience with a smug look as they booed him. He took a moment before telling everyone that they were seeing a new beginning in RFW. The era of chaos has begun. He said that he and Pit Viper are now stronger with Witchmere at their side.

Witchmere spoke next and explained that she had always used the Children of a Dark Dawn for her own gain. She said they worshipped her. Witchmere described how she used their weak and malleable minds to do her bidding in the ring and used them for pleasure outside of the ring.

She said they were so weak, they believed in her made up stories about serving a dark god. Once she grew tired of them, Witchmere realized she saw something in Rex Anarchy. She saw someone who is a strong, free thinker with a plan for domination in RFW. Witchmere declared the Children of a Dark Dawn dead and said the future is standing in the ring.

Rex Anarchy said that everyone is looking at the Lords of Chaos and put everyone on notice. They are going to tear RFW down to its foundation. Rex Anarchy’s music began to play and the Lords of Chaos stood united in the ring before leaving.

Koji Otaka vs. Dan Masters

After brawling outside the ring long enough to have the match called a double count out, it was only natural that Koji Otaka and Dan Masters would meet again in a rematch. Koji Otaka came down to the ring first full of fire as he pumped the crowd up. Dan Masters came out next and looked eager to get the fight started.

As soon as the bell rang, both men locked up in the middle of the ring and pushed each other around like two bucks with locked horns. Koji Otaka got off to a strong start, taking control of the match and wearing down Dan Masters with an explosive set of power moves. Masters escaped to the outside but Otaka followed. Shades of their previous match began to show as brawl broke out on the floor. Otaka neutralized Masters and tried to climb back into the ring but Masters quickly got to his feet, grabbed Otaka from the ring apron, and dropped him to the floor with an electric chair drop.

Though both were still feeling the effects from the brawl outside, both Otaka and Masters managed to get back into the ring before the countout. Back in the ring, the match devolved into a slugfest until Masters got the upper hand and started wearing Otaka down with submission holds. Masters tried to end things with an STF but Otaka was able to power his way out of the hold and start a comeback, taking Masters off guard. Otaka came at Masters with another series of power moves and tried to end the match with a dragon suplex. Masters kicked out of a pin but as soon as he tried to get to his feet, Otaka scooped him up for a powerbomb. Sensing that there was a little more fight left in Masters, Otaka immediately followed up with a second powerbomb. Otaka covered for the pin and picked up a victory over his long time rival.

Following the match, Koji Otaka celebrated in the ring. Meanwhile, Dan Masters slipped out of the ring and returned with a steel chair. As Otaka turned around, Masters blasted him in the torso with a flat chair shot. Masters slammed the chair down on Otaka as he lay on the mat until the chair broke apart. Masters taunted his downed foe before leaving amidst the boos from the audience.

Road Block

The audience cheered as Cate Stiles music began to play and she made her way down to the ring. Stiles said that she has long had a dream of becoming a world champion wrestler and knows that she is the best wrestler in the world today. The crowd cheered in agreement. Stiles said she has had challenges along the way, suffered injuries, and has kept at it. Stiles said that her path has been winding and full of barriers but she sees a clear path ahead and that path leads to the RFW Valkyrie Championship. Stiles said she wants Tracy Blood and Annika to know that whomever is holding the title after the main event, she is coming for them.

The crowds cheers were suddenly cut off as Yurei’s music began to play and she came down to the ring. Yurei said she has a problem with Cate Stiles thinking she is so great and touts herself as the toughest woman in RFW. Yurei claimed that she would show everyone that Cate Stiles is nothing special. Stiles warned Yurei to step away or she won’t like what comes next. Yurei smiled and threw her microphone. Cate Stiles smiled back and dropped her microphone. The crowd cheered as Yurei and Cate Stiles stood in the middle of the ring and stared each other down. Suddenly, fists flew as both women went at it, nailing each other with punches. Stiles got the upper hand and threw Yurei into the ropes. Stiles caught her on the rebound with a drop kick. As Yurei began to get up, Stiles grabbed her from behind and tried for a German suplex but Yurei blocked the attempt, broke free, and spun around with a forearm shot that made Stiles stumble back against the ropes. As Stiles recovered and tried to get hear bearings, Yurei ran and nailed her with a brutal spear.

Stiles lay motionless on the mat as Yurei screamed and pumped herself up to the jeers of the crowd. Yurei stepped out of the ring and started walking back up the aisle. As she turned around, she saw Cate Stiles sitting on the mat, holding her stomach, and staring back. With a smile on her face.

Mark Blood vs. Shawn Roberts

After telling Shawn Roberts that he should have retired and was washed up, Roberts challenged Mark Blood to a match. Blood came down to the ring and ignored the audience booing him as he stood in the ring with his arms raised high.

The crowd’s jeers turned to cheers as Shawn Roberts came down next. He enthusiastically slapped hands with he audience members at ringside before standing in front of the ring. He looked up at Mark Blood and then slid into the ring, standing on a turnbuckle and pumping up the crowd before the match began.

At the sound of the bell, Blood and Roberts locked up in the middle of the ring. Blood pushed himself out of it and stepped back into his corner, adjusting his wrist tape before locking up with Roberts again. Blood pushed away for a second time and appeared to brush something off of his shoulder. Roberts looked out at the crowd and shook his head. Blood locked up again and this time pulled Roberts in and kneed him in the gut. Blood followed up with a technical based submission offense, keeping Roberts down on the mat as much as possible and working his spine, primarily the lower back.

Shawn Roberts made attempts at a comeback early on but damage to his back kept him for getting into high gear. Mark Blood kept on his opponent. When Roberts was jammed into a corner, Blood taunted him and slapped him in the face. When Blood tried to do that a second time, Roberts caught his arm and dragged him in, reversing their positions. Roberts then used mounted punches on the turnbuckle as the fans counted and then began another attempt at a comeback. Roberts worked through whatever lingering pain he was feeling to put on a high speed offense off the ropes, hitting Blood fast and hard. Although Mark Blood was able to make a late match comeback, Shawn Roberts got the best of him and nailed a springboard splash followed by a pinfall victory.

Killer Showdown

RFW announcer Monica Stone welcomed Titan Champion Jax Rivers down to the ring. Rivers came down the aisle to applause as he carried the title belt over his shoulder. He climbed up into the ring and held the title up over his head before walking up to Stone.

Monica Stone asked the champion about his upcoming title defense at the next show. Rivers said that Killer Malone is a seasoned veteran and is not be taken lightly but while Malone is busy being a ladies man and filling his head with delusions of grandeur, Rivers is focused on walking out of the next show with his Titan Championship title.

Before Stone could ask any more questions, Killer Malone’s music began to play and he came down to the ring with Jade at his side. Jade waved to the audience and beamed with adoration as she turned her attention to Malone, who stood at the ring apron, staring at the Titan Champion. Jade walked up the ring steps, followed by Malone, and they stepped through the ropes together. Killer Malone told Monica Stone that it was time for her to go. Stone left as Jade held the ropes open for her and motioned for her to move quickly. Jade laughed as she flung herself against Malone’s arm and rested her head on his shoulder. She waved to Rivers as the champion patiently waited for his opponent to speak.

Killer Malone said that Jax Rivers is holding onto a title that will soon be his. Malone stressed that Rivers is going to go lights out when he gets nailed with a knockout punch that has taken down countless opponents. Malone held up his taped up right hand and told everyone that they are looking at the most deadly weapon in professional wrestling. Malone said that he has the hottest woman in wrestling and soon will have the hottest title. Jade said that her man will be the next Titan Champion and there’s nothing Rivers can do about it but accept that fact.

Jax Rivers said that he is well aware of the knockout punch, he is aware of how dangerous it is, and he is aware of Malone’s career accomplishments but none of that matters. Rivers held up the Titan Championship and said that he has worked hard in his career, too, and unlike Malone, Rivers has multiple championship titles to his name as credibility. Malone went from cool and collected to agitated in the blink of an eye. He gently nudged Jade away and stepped closer to Jax Rivers.

The crowd cheered as both men looked ready to come to blows. Suddenly, out of the crowd, a man jumped over the barrier, climbed into the ring, and leveled Killer Malone with a clothesline, The man threw back the hood over his head to reveal himself as Cole Arcane. Arcane dove on top of Malone and pounded him with fists as the crowd cheered wildly. Jade pulled Arcane off but he just pushed her away. The distraction was enough for Killer Malone to recover and nail Arcane with a knockout punch. As Arcane fell to the mat, Malone turned to attack Jax Rivers but the champion was alert and stopped him. The champion and challenger stared each other down. Malone pointed to Arcane, warning Rivers that he was going to be next. Malone’s music began to play and he and Jade left the ring. Rivers helped Cole Arcane to his feet. Arcane looked angry as Rivers questioned his interference.

Valkyrie Championship Match Annika vs. Tracy Blood (c)

At RFW #007, Annika and Tracy Blood faced each other in what was a debut match for both of them. Ten shows later, Tracy Blood is Valkyrie Champion and Annika has risen through the ranks to become number one contender.

Annika came down to the ring and looked ready for a fight. She climbed a turnbuckle and yelled to the crowd that they were looking at the next champion. She focused on the arena entrance and waited for the champion to appear.

Tracy Blood’s music began to play and she came out with the RFW Valkyrie Championship title around her waist. She climbed into the ring, removed the title and held it up over her head. She stared back at Annika for a moment before kissing the belt and handing it to the referee. The referee showed the title to Annika before holding it up for everyone to see. The women took their corners and waited for the bell.

At the start of the match, both women circled around the ring, speaking to each other inaudibly. They would get close and spar with some jabs and low kicks. They locked up in the middle of the ring and Annika pushed Tracy Blood back into a corner. She kept pushing until the referee made her back away. She took a step back and then came back in for short clothesline but Blood saw it coming and put up a knee. Annika buckled over and stumbled back giving Blood her chance to take control of the match, using those opening minutes to wear Annika down with submissions. Annika broke free of a hold, tried to strike quickly but Blood shocked her with a hard kick to the side of the ribs. Annika fell to the mat and looked up at the champion in total shock. She appeared to reassess her opponent before getting to her feet again.

Tracy Blood continued on the offense and had Annika reeling after a hard whip into a corner. Annika stepped forward and Blood went for her high head kick finisher but Annika ducked at the last minute, grabbed Blood from behind and hit her with a back stabber. The champion cried out in pain as she writhed around on the mat. Annika wasted no time in going after her, viciously assaulting Blood’s back with strikes before using submissions to wear her down. Annika threw Blood into the ropes with an Irish whip and although Blood stopped the momentum by wrapping her arms around the top rope, Annika rushed in and kneed Blood in the stomach, causing her to slip through the ropes and fall to the floor outside.

Annika followed the champion to the outside, slammed her down to the floor, and stomped on her back. The attack continued as Annika threw Tracy Blood into the steel steps. Blood snapped off of the steps and clutched her shoulder. Annika noticed this and immediately put her in the arm bar submission. Blood screamed as she tried desperately to escape. The referee stepped out of the ring and warned Annika to stop as a submission can only occur in the ring but she refused. Annika eventually let go and rolled Blood back into the ring and slid under the ropes herself just before the count out.

Annika went right back with the arm bar. Tracy Blood looked to be in a bad spot but started desperately pounding on Annika’s leg with her free arm. Annika loosened up just enough for Blood to slip out of the hold. Annika got to her feet and leaned in to pick up the champion but Blood nailed her in the nose with a forearm. Annika fell over and covered her face. Tracy Blood climbed on top of her and went for a pin. Annika easily kicked out but Blood followed up with a late match rally, coming back with a strike heavy offense. Annika was shaken by the attack and Blood saw an opportunity to finish her off. Blood went for another high head kick and though Annika once again ducked, Blood continued to spin and caught Annika on the cheek on her second go around. Tracy Blood covered for a pin and picked up the victory, successfully defending her title.

Tracy Blood was slow to get up but was energized once she was handed the Valkyrie Championship belt. She draped it over her shoulder and celebrated with the audience. Annika dragged herself into a corner and pulled herself up. Blood looked over at her and said something. Annika stepped forward. Blood extended a hand toward Annika. Annika stood there and looked at the handshake offer. She seemed to consider her next move. Slowly, Annika accepted the handshake to the applause of the audience. Annika pulled away and walked out of the ring, leaving the champion to continue celebrating.
