Rapid Fire Wrestling announced that Series 1 is coming to an end. With the upcoming RFW 20 show, RFW will end its current run. RFW President C.W. See the show results later in this issue for more details on the RFW 20 event.

Outside The Ring

Mysterious Stuntwoman

Mysterie has been absent from RFW shows recently and the reason is because she is away filming a movie as a stuntwoman. Although the masked star usually has multi-colored hair, she has gone to a more natural black color for the film. Mysterie was quoted saying that she loves the opportunity to try something different but looks forward to her RFW return.

Hardworkin’ Dave Smith opened the show to applause. He had a huge smile on his face as he stepped into the ring and saluted the crowd. Smith said that he has been hard at work getting Vito DeFazio into shape and getting him into a more positive mindset. It hasn’t been without its challenges but Smith felt that DeFazio is ready and called him down to the ring.

Vito DeFazio came out and looked as excited as Dave Smith. He stepped through the ropes and ran around the ring pumping his fist in the air. Smith handed DeFazio the microphone. He told the audience that he really does feel like a new man, ready to take on the toughest challenges. He then said he had a surprise for Hardworkin’ Dave Smith. Smith looked at him curiously. DeFazio said that he has already put his training to work and has accomplished a long standing challenge in his life. With a huge smile, DeFazio said he is proud to have just come back from “The Taco Hole” where he completed the 5 lb. burrito challenge! Hardworkin’ Dave Smith looked at him in shock and then grabbed the microphone. He asked DeFazio if he was joking and DeFazio proudly said no. Smith asked him why he did that when he has a match right now. DeFazio bit his lip and said he forgot.

On queue, Andre Jordan’s music began to play and the cocky amateur wrestler-turned pro made his way down to the ring, returning to RFW. Jordan stepped through the ropes and laughed as he looked at DeFazio and shook his head.

Vito DeFazio vs. Andre Jordan

Andre Jordan immediately dominated the opening moments of the match, deftly avoiding Vito DeFazio’s attempts at a tie-up or strike. Jordan easily took down DeFazio and seemed to play with him, chaining different wrestling holds and mocking the chubby Italian. Hardworkin’ Dave Smith encouraged his protege from the outside and tried to rally the audience for support.

Jordan played around a little too much and DeFazio found an opportunity to turn things around. The crowd cheered as DeFazio crushed Jordan with a running splash in a corner and then starting an offense that surprised everyone. Every time Andre Jordan tried to turn things around, DeFazio kept on him. DeFazio drilled Jordan with a series of clotheslines and then ran off the ropes to hit a big body splash. Suddenly, there was an odd sound coming from the ring. Instead of pinning Jordan, DeFazio stood up with a look of panic. Sweat began to bead on his face. He quickly slipped out of the ring and started shuffling toward the backstage area, hands holding onto the back of his pants. He vanished behind the curtain.

Hardworkin’ Dave Smith looked on in horror with his jaw dropped. The referee counted DeFazio out and awarded the match to Andre Jordan. Jordan looked confused as he stood up but happily accepted the victory and celebrated in the ring.

Maria Estrella vs. Aurora Starkey

Maria Estrella came out to the arena next and slapped hands with the crowd on her way to the ring. She slid under the bottom rope, climbed a turnbuckle and blew a kiss to the audience.

Out next was the debuting Aurora Starkey. Starkey, a second generation wrestler who has traveled around the world winning multiple titles, looked excited to be in front of the RFW fans. Many in the audience knew of her accomplishments and cheered for her as she made her way to the ring. Starkey’s dark skin contrasted with her bright blue top and tights. She climbed through the ropes and threw her long, black hair over her shoulder before stretching her arms out and taking in the reaction from the crowd. Starkey looked over at Estrella. Both women sized each other up before taking their corners.

As the bell rang, Maria Estrella and Aurora Starkey circle in the middle of the ring. Starkey extended a hand and Estrella shook it before they locked up in the middle of the ring. Both women, known for relying on power moves, traded offense in the opening minutes of the match. Starkey showed off her power by mounting an offensive that rattled Estrella. After a huge back body drop that sent Estrella high into the air, Estrella was slow to get up but just shook her head and gave a small smile before going right after Starkey. Aurora Starkey continued on her attack but Estrella stopped an attempt at a vertical suplex and and hit one of her own. Estrella ran off the ropes and popped Starkey with a huge clothesline. This gave Estrella the opportunity she needed to start a comeback.

Maria Estrella overpowered Aurora Starkey and showed off an explosive side to her already devastating power move style. Starkey was crushed with a spinebuster off the ropes followed by a German suplex that shot her across the ring. Starkey blocked an attempt at a running power slam but Estrella kept on her. Estrella hoisted Starkey over her shoulder a second time and hit a successful running power slam. Estrella covered for a pin and picked up the victory.

After the match, Maria Estrella celebrated in the ring. Aurora Starkey got to her feet and walked over to Estrella. She said something to Estrella before reaching for Estrella’s wrist and raised it in the air. Starkey looked over at Estrella and her face suddenly changed. Starkey short arm clotheslined Estrella and then stared down at her. The crowd booed as she reached back down, picked up Estrella, and crushed her down on the mat with a powerbomb. Aurora Starkey stood over Maria Estrella and raised an arm in the air before leaving.

RFW 20 Announcement

C.W. Sunderland came down to the ring and announced that the upcoming show, RFW 20, will serve as the Series 1 finale. He thanked the fans for bringing RFW to new heights and promised that Series 2 will be even better. Turning his attention to RFW 20, Sunderland announced that both the Titan Championship and Valkyrie Championship will be defended. There will also be a 10-Man Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal to celebrate MoW’s history of hosting battle royals.

Mark Blood’s music began to play and he came out to interrupt Sunderland. Blood said that he loves the idea of the MoW Battle Royal and entered himself into the match, saying that the MoW matches were made for him since his father was the biggest star in MoW history.

Sunderland was about to respond when Shawn Roberts music began to play and he came down to the ring. Roberts irritated Mark Blood by entering himself into the match as well, promising that he will win and be a two time MoW award winner.

The Lords of Chaos’ music began to play and they came down to the ring. Witchmere had a microphone and proclaimed that Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper will also compete in the match and together they will dominate. C.W. Sunderland told everyone that they don’t get to insert themselves into the match, however, he agrees that all of them will help make the MoW Battle Royal even more special. He confirmed that all of them will compete in the match. The crowd cheered as tension grew between the Lords of Chaos and Mark Blood and Shawn Roberts. Sunderland saw trouble and wisely left the ring.

A brawl broke out as Rex Anarchy blasted Shawn Roberts and Pit Viper traded blows with Mark Blood. Witchmere joined in and helped Anarchy attack Roberts. Mark Blood was able to slip out of the ring and watched as Pit Viper joined in with Rex Anarchy and Witchmere to beat down Roberts. When Blood realized that he was no longer in focus for attack, he retreated. Roberts was beaten down in the ring before Witchmere grabbed him in the head vice. Roberts passed out from the pain. The Lords of Chaos stood in the ring and celebrated their attack.

A Bad Mood

Annika’s music began to play and she came down to the ring with a microphone. As soon as she stepped through the ropes, she demanded her music be stopped. Annika paced around the ring and said she isn’t in a good mood, claiming she was “this close” to winning the Valkyrie Championship. She said she wanted to take her frustrations out on someone, anyone, and declared an open challenge to anyone backstage.

Music began to play and Kami King came out to the ring, making her RFW debut. As she stepped through the ropes, the contrast between her and Annika were striking. Annika’s average height, black hair, gray sleeveless t-shirt, black jean shorts, and black boots clashed entirely with Kami King’s 5’2″ frame, blond hair, and light purple and white wrestling gear and boots. King jumped up on the second turnbuckle and greeted the crowd while Annika stood in the opposite corner looking unimpressed.

Annika vs. Kami King

The match started off with Annika kicking Kami King in the stomach and starting a vicious offense with stiff clotheslines and violent body slams before slowing things down by using different submissions focusing on King’s right arm.

As the match continued, Annika was caught off guard when King slipped free of a suplex attempt and blasted Annika with fast punches and kicks. Annika was reeling when King ran off the ropes and exploded off the mat with a big drop kick. With Annika down, King quickly capitalized and used a quick offense to turn the tide of the match. King went for a moonsault but Annika had enough time to react and got her knees up, blocking the move and neutralizing King’s momentum.

Annika was looking to end the match when she worked Kami King’s arm some more and got ready for the arm bar submission. King had the move scouted, however, and was able to get free before the hold was locked in. King whipped Annika into a corner. As Annika stumbled out of the corner, King hit her square in the jaw with a super kick. Annika fell to the mat and Kami King covered for a pin, securing a victory in her debut match.

Kami King had a look of excitement and shock as she was declared the winner of the match. She was very enthusiastic as she celebrated in the ring. Outside, Annika stood at the edge of the ring and looked up at King in disbelief.

Koji Otaka vs. Dan Masters

Bitter rivals continue their long standing rivalry. Though victorious in their previous match, Koji Otaka was left laying in the ring after a post-match chair attack from Dan Masters. Otaka did not look happy as he came down to the ring, climbing through the ropes and staring at the arena entrance as his music faded out.

Dan Masters came out next. He took his time getting to the ring, watching Otaka. When Otaka beckoned for him to enter the ring, Masters smirked and strolled leisurely around the ring in an attempt to infuriate Otaka. Masters climbed through the ropes and held his hands up, warning Otaka not to do anything hasty before the bell.

Once the bell rang, Koji Otaka blasted out of his corner and attacked Dan Masters with a series of fists. Masters covered his face and slipped his torso through the top and middle rope. The referee pulled Otaka back and that’s when Masters flattened Otaka with a clothesline. Masters had his way with Otaka and tried to wear the Japanese star down with technical wrestling holds before shifting gears with clotheslines and suplexes.

Dan Masters ran off the ropes for another attack but Otaka came out of nowhere with a pop up powerbomb when Masters rebounded. Otaka then used a running offense of his own before using power moves on Masters. He threw Masters around the ring with suplexes. Masters tried to escape from the ring to get some distance but Otaka grabbed Masters and used a vertical suplex to get him back in the ring. Masters looked to be in trouble but used an eye gouge at an angle where the referee couldn’t see and used that as an opportunity or a neck breaker on Otaka. Masters went for a pin but Otaka kicked out. Masters kept on Otaka, using scoop slams and a Boston Crab submission to wear down Otaka’s back.

Masters went for a Fisherman Suplex and covered for another pin. Otaka kicked out again.

Masters went for a second Fisherman Suplex with another pin but Otaka once again kicked out. Masters took a move from the playbook of his protege, Mark Blood, and drove Otaka to the mat with a tombstone piledriver. Masters covered for the pin. Somehow, Koji Otaka kicked out. Masters was frustrated and slammed his hands on the mat. He picked up Otaka and used another tombstone piledriver. Masters then used another Fisherman Suplex and covered for a pin. This time, Otaka didn’t kick out and Masters was declared the winner.

Yurei vs. Cate Stiles

After an altercation at the previous show where Yurei challenged Cate Stiles, Yurei left Stiles laying in the ring following a spear. Yurei came down to the ring for her match against Stiles with confidence. She stood in the middle of the ring and shook her head as the crowd booed her. She pointed to herself raised an arm in the air before taking her corner.

Cate Stiles music began to play and the crowd burst into cheers. Stiles stared at the ring as she walked with determination, sliding under the ropes and stalking around in a circle on the mat before taking her corner.

Both women locked up in the middle of the ring and after some back and forth takedowns, Yurei used a knee to the gut to take Stiles off her game. Yurei used her strength advantage and threw Stiles around the ring. Yurei tried for a power bomb but Stiles blocked it and back body dropped Yurei. Stiles then went on the offense, using drop kicks and clotheslines before transitioning into slams. Stiles then used submissions on Yurei, working on her legs.

Cate Stiles went in for the kill, trying for the ankle lock submission. Yurei was able to squirm free and take down Stiles at the knees. Yurei jammed her own knee into the back of Stiles’ left knee and then pounded on it before using a cloverleaf submission. Stiles tried to power out of the move but was unable to. As Stiles dragged herself to the ropes, Yurei tried to hold on to the hold but the referee forced her to let go because of the rope break. Yurei tried to go for it again but Stiles instead rolled Yurei up for a small package. Yurei kicked out. Yurei got up first and got in position to spear Stiles. As Stiles turned around, Yurei dove for a spear but Stiles instead leapfrogged her. Yurei stood up and immediately was grabbed from behind by Stiles, who used a back suplex. Yurei hit the mat and rolled toward a rope. Stiles caught her and went for a pin. The referee counted to three but didn’t see Yurei’s foot on the bottom rope.

Cate Stiles was declared the winner of the match and posed on a turnbuckle as the crowd cheered. Meanwhile, Yurei argued with the referee in the ring. Stiles took notice but didn’t get involved, leaving the ring.

State of the Women’s Division

RFW Announcer Monica Stone introduced Valkyrie Champion Tracy Blood to the ring. Blood came out in a white sleeveless top, black slacks, and black heels. The Valkyrie Championship was draped over her shoulder as she made her way to the ring, interacting with fans on the way down the aisle. Blood stepped through the ropes and held her title belt in the air before standing next to Monica Stone for an interview.

Monica Stone asked Tracy Blood what she thinks of the Women’s Division and the many challengers that want the Valkyrie Championship. Blood said that the women’s division is getting stronger by the day and she is proud to be its champion. Blood said that she is ready for any challenger that comes her way and looks forward to the fight.

The Lords of Chaos’ music began to play. Tracy Blood motioned for Monica Stone to leave the ring. Stone took the advice. Blood watched the arena entrance but no one came out. The music stopped and Blood looked confused. Suddenly, Witchmere slipped into the ring from the crowd and blasted the champion in the back with a clothesline. The champion fell to the mat and dropped the Valkyrie Championship belt. Witchmere picked the title up and looked it over. She looked down at its owner. As Blood began to stand up, Witchmere blasted her in the head with the belt. Blood hit the mat with force, sending her rolling outside the ring. Witchmere followed and threw the champion into the steel steps.

The attack only got worse from there. Witchmere drove the steps down on Blood’s back. With Tracy Blood already down for the count, Witchmere picked the champion up for a running powerbomb and slammed her into the steel barricade. Tracy Blood was motionless on the floor but Witchmere wasn’t done. She grabbed Blood by the head and put the champion in the head vise. Blood was not responsive as Witchmere squeezed until referees and other officials ran down and pulled her off.

Witchmere screamed that Tracy Blood is done. She pushed aside the referees who were surrounding her and found the Valkyrie Championship title. She held it up in the air and looked up at it before placing it back down on the ring apron. As she walked back toward the arena entrance, Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper were standing there to greet her, clapping and congratulating her for the heinous attack.

Back at ringside, medical personnel placed Tracy Blood on a stretcher and carried her out of the arena.

Malone kept on Rivers and turned the match around in his favor. He pummeled Rivers with strikes and body slams.

Jax Rivers found himself in a Full Nelson. Killer Malone pushed down hard, causing the champion to start fading. Malone thought he had victory within his grasp but Rivers took a chance and used the last of his strength to push backward and sandwich Malone between himself and a turnbuckle. Malone broke the hold and Rivers fell to the mat. Malone went after Rivers again but was caught by surprise as the champion kicked him in the gut, leapt to his feet, and started taking the fight to him once again.
