Tracy Blood Injured
Bad news for the RFW Valkyrie Champion. Following an attack by Witchmere as the previous show, Tracy Blood was taken out on a stretcher. Though not as serious as first thought, Tracy Blood suffered a neck injury. Blood is expected to address her status in front of the live audience.
Show Results
The show started with Annika coming down to the ring for a rematch with Kami King, the newcomer that defeated Annika in an upset victory. Annika looked angry as she paced in her corner of the ring waiting for her opponent.
Kami King pumped up the crowd on her way to the ring to warm them up for the action. She slid into the ring and stepped up onto a turnbuckle to pose for the crowd before taking her corner.
Annika vs. Kami King
Annika stepped into the middle of the ring and had words with Kami King, who looked surprised at the hostility. King signaled to Annika to bring it and they locked up in the middle of the ring. Annika immediately went for a fierce headlock takedown and began a dominating offense in the early minutes of the match. Annika was extra vicious, slamming King’s head into the mat, stomping on her, and taunting her.
Kami King wasn’t going to go down easy, however, and dodged a cross body block. King came at Annika with quick offense off the ropes. Annika made attempts at getting back in control but King refused to lose momentum and kept on the attack. After an atomic drop, King followed up with a bulldog. King waited for Annika to stand back up and went to finish her off with a superkick. Annika countered the kick by grabbing King’s foot and twisting her down to the mat. King’s clutched at her knee, which was tweaked in the fall. Annika took the opportunity to attack the limb. King fought back but when she went to run off the ropes, her knee buckled and she fell to the mat. Annika used a cross kneelock on Kami King. King submitted, giving Annika the victory.
Hardworkin’ Ultimatum
After a humiliating performance against Andre Jordan, Vito DeFazio’s big comeback appeared to be over before it even started. DeFazio’s life coach, Hardworkin’ Dave Smith, came down to the ring alone. He looked very somber as he stepped through the ropes and adjusted his John Deere baseball cap.
Smith told the audience that he has done the hard work to get Vito DeFazio into better shape, both physically and mentally but DeFazio hasn’t kept up his side of the agreement. Smith was shocked to learn about DeFazio’s behavior and admitted that he hadn’t been reading the latest issues of the RFW newsletter where this was all clearly documented. He encouraged all fans to read the newsletters, saying that they are “quite good.” Smith said he came here to do one thing and that was to help Vito DeFazio. It’s not working out and Smith asked that DeFazio show himself in the ring so they can work this out like men.
Vito DeFazio came out with a sheepish look on his face. He cautiously stepped into the ring. Hardworkin’ Dave Smith questioned DeFazio’s dedication to improving himself. Smith admitted that he felt such satisfaction in helping a young wrestler in their career but has become completely defeated to learn that DeFazio never seemed to want his help. DeFazio insisted that wasn’t true and begged Smith to give him another chance, promising he will do better. Smith said that DeFazio will need to prove his dedication before Smith will continue and announces that Vito DeFazio will compete in the Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal at RFW 20. The crowd cheered. Smith holds up a finger and said that DeFazio competing in the match isn’t enough. He said DeFazio must eliminate at least one other competitor in the match in order for Smith to continue being his life coach.
Hardworkin’ Dave Smith walked out of the ring, leaving Vito DeFazio standing alone. DeFazio looked around the audience and slowly began to nod. He psyched himself up in the ring, motioning that he was going to throw his opponents over the top rope.
Clarity
Maria Estrella came down to the ring wearing a sundress. She interacted with the fans on her way down the aisle before stepping through the ring ropes. Estrella said she had the opportunity to compete against a true world warrior at the last show when she faced Aurora Starkey. Estrella highlighted Starkey’s many accomplishments; wrestling all over the globe, winning multiple championships, and carrying on her father’s legacy as a top tier wrestler. She said that Starkey is a great addition to RFW and said that their match was a great show of sportsmanship until Starkey attacked her after the match. Estrella said she won’t let that go unanswered and demanded that Starkey come out and explain herself.
On cue, Aurora Starkey emerged from backstage and headed to the ring dressed in her ring gear and a long, flowing cape. Starkey stepped into the ring and stared at Maria Estrella for a long moment before speaking. Starkey said that Estrella takes things too personally and that she was only sending a message. She said that she has a message for every woman in RFW. Aurora Starkey has arrived to claim the Valkyrie Championship and everyone is in her way. Starkey told Estrella that everyone loves her because she is pretty and so outgoing with the fans. This is a problem because it gives her more spotlight than she deserves, spotlight that should go to Starkey.
Maria Estrella responded by saying that Starkey doesn’t realize the world she just stepped into. Though she may have traveled the world, she needs a proper introduction to RFW. Estrella said she may not be dressed for a fight but she is ready for one and challenged Starkey to a match. Aurora Starkey looked Maria Estrella up and down and then backed up. Starkey said she will be glad to swat Estrella away like the nuisance fly that she is but that will have to wait until RFW 20. Starkey laughed and walked out of the ring. Maria Estrella watched Aurora Starkey leave the ringside area.
Dan Masters vs. Koji Otaka
The feud continues. Dan Masters came down to the ring for another match against his longtime rival, Koji Otaka. Masters slid under the ropes and slammed his palms on the mat several times before standing up and jumping onto a turnbuckle. He yelled out that it was time to finish off Otaka and did a cutthroat motion before jumping down and taking his corner.
Koji Otaka came out next. The crowd cheered him on as he marched down to the ring, slapping himself on the chest to pump himself up before stepping through the ropes. He pointed to Masters and said something inaudible. Masters scoffed.
As the bell rang, Dan Masters started walking into the middle of the ring. Koji Otaka surprised him with a running clothesline and the crowd exploded into cheers as Otaka kept right on attacking. Masters was overwhelmed by Otaka’s constant assault. Otaka used a huge body slam that caused Masters to slip out of the ring and take a breather before getting back in.
Otaka continued on the offensive until Masters caught him on a rebound off the ropes and hit a spinning spinebuster that drove the back of Otaka’s head hard into the bottom turnbuckle. Otaka was motionless in the corner and the referee pushed Masters out of the way so he could check the situation. The referee was about to call for the bell but Otaka grabbed the referee’s wrist and insisted that he could continue. Otaka was slow to stand up and looked wobbly but steeled himself and motioned to Masters to come at him. The referee stepped back and let the match continue.
Dan Masters quickly took control of the match, taking advantage of a rattled Koji Otaka. Masters focused his attacks on Otaka’s head, using head locks and slams. Masters tried for a DDT but Otaka pushed Masters back against the ropes and then exploded with a clothesline that sent both men over the ropes to the floor. Otaka was slower to get up but still managed to strike first with fists. A dazed Masters was thrown into the ring post head first, causing his head to split open. Masters collapsed to the floor and held his forehead. The referee now had to push Otaka away as he checked on Masters. Masters showed signs that he was able to continue and slid into the ring. Otaka followed.
Both men traded blows in the middle of the ring. A direct hit from Koji Otaka caused the cut on Masters’ forehead to open more and blood began covering his face. Otaka used the octopus hold on Masters. Masters refused to submit but instead fell over, sending both men crashing to the mat. The referee checked on Masters, determined that he had passed out, and called for the bell. Koji Otaka was declared the winner of the match and celebrated in the ring before leaving.
Dan Masters was helped out of the ring by the referee.
Titan Championship Turmoil
In a Titan Championship match that was made complicated by interference from Jade and further complicated by interference from Cole Arcane, Killer Malone left the previous show as the winner of the match by disqualification, meaning the title still belonged to Jax Rivers.
Killer Malone was very angry as he walked down to the ring with Jade at his side. Jade looked equally upset and she verbally snapped at some fans ringside before they climbed in the ring.
Malone said that he would be champion right now if it wasn’t for Cole Arcane’s interference.
Jade screamed that Arcane ruined everything and Malone should be Titan Champion. As Malone was about to speak again, Cole Arcane’s music began to play and the crowd cheered as he emerged from the arena entrance.
Arcane stepped into the ring and laughed before taking a microphone from a member of the ring crew. He said it is comical that Malone is complaining about interference when it was Jade’s interference that made him come out in the first place. Malone warned Arcane to keep Jade out of this. Arcane said that he has unfinished business with both of them and seeing as Malone is fired up, he thinks it’s the perfect time to settle things in the ring.
Killer Malone said that he isn’t interested in a match with Cole Arcane. He won the match against Jax Rivers and demanded a rematch for the Titan Championship. This caused Titan Champion Jax Rivers to come out. Rivers carried the title belt over his shoulder as he entered the ring and stared down everyone in the ring. Rivers said that he agrees with Malone in that their match did not end the way he would have liked it and accepted a rematch. Rivers then turned his attention to Cole Arcane and warned him to stay away, saying that Arcane may have tried to help even the odds but only made things worse. Arcane said he doesn’t take orders from Jax Rivers.
RFW President C.W. Sunderland came down to the ring just as the situation was getting even more tense. Sunderland said there is a lot going on in the ring right now. Killer Malone has a good argument for wanting a rematch. Jax Rivers wants a definitive win against Malone in the record books. Sunderland acknowledged that Cole Arcane does have unfinished business with Killer Malone and Jade. He laid out a plan. At RFW 20, Killer Malone and Jax Rivers will compete for the RFW Titan Championship. Rivers, Malone, and Jade looked happy about the decision. Sunderland then added a twist. He declared that the main event of this show will be Killer Malone vs. Cole Arcane. Malone became upset. Jade started protesting. Arcane was excited. Sunderland added that this match has a special stipulation. Should Cole Arcane win the match, the Titan Championship match at RFW 20 will become a triple threat match. Jax Rivers vs. Killer Malone vs. Cole Arcane. The crowd erupted into cheers. Arcane, Malone, and Rivers stared each other down in the ring as Sunderland left. Killer Malone left first with Jade. Jax Rivers had words with Cole Arcane in the middle of the ring before holding up the Titan Championship belt. Arcane only stared back before leaving. Jax Rivers stood in the ring with the title and hyped up the crowd.
Andre Jordan Means Business
The audience booed as Andre Jordan came down to the ring wearing slacks and a button down shirt. He stood in the ring and told the audience that his return to RFW rights a very big wrong. Jordan claimed that he was not initially brought back to RFW because C.W. Sunderland wanted to make room for comic relief like Vito DeFazio. He wanted to bring in faded stars like Badlands Bill Stanton and Hardworkin’ Dave Smith. Jordan said that Sunderland came to his senses when he realized RFW needed a true athlete that could bring the company into the future. Jordan assured fans that RFW’s future is secure now that he has returned and then announced that he is one of the entrants in the Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal.
This announcement brought Mark Blood down to the ring. Blood said that Jordan has it all wrong and he is the gifted athlete that RFW is being built around for the future. Blood vowed to win the MoW Battle Royal because the MoW Award was made for him in the first place.
Shawn Roberts came out to the arena next and got into the ring. Roberts said he is going to have to disappoint both of them at RFW 20 because he is going to win the MoW Battle Royal and become the two-time award winner. This infuriated Blood and Jordan who began to argue both with him and each other.
The Lords of Chaos’ music began to play. Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper came out and stood at the arena entrance with Witchmere behind them. Anarchy reminded everyone that both he and Pit Viper are in the MoW Battle Royal and together they will dominate the match. He said that
Jordan, Roberts, and Blood are all wasting their time bickering. LoC promptly left. Andre Jordan, Mark Blood, and Shawn Roberts all stood in the ring and stared each other down. Jordan left first, leaving Blood and Roberts in the ring. Blood motioned to Roberts that he was going to send him over the top rope before leaving next. Shawn Roberts stood alone in the ring and signed to the audience that he was ready for RFW 20 and the MoW Battle Royal.
Yurei Calls Foul
Monica Stone stood in the ring and introduced her guest, Yurei. Yurei’s music began to play and she came down to the ring wearing her ring gear. Stone thanked Yurei for coming out and recapped the events of the last show where Yurei was pinned by Cate Stiles. Stone pointed out that Yurei’s foot was on the rope but went unseen by the referee and asked Yurei’s thoughts on the matter.
Yurei said the referee was incompetent and she was not defeated. She refused to accept the loss and demanded that the referee come down to the ring to apologize and nullify the finish to the match.
The referee did not come out to the ring. Instead, Cate Stiles music began to play and the crowd began cheering. Stiles walked down the aisle wearing her ring gear and climbed the ring steps. She paused and stared at Yurei before stepping through the ropes. Stiles said that she never knew Yurei to be a crybaby. Yurei got upset and screamed that she was wronged in their match. Stiles smiled and said that even if the rope break had been caught by the referee it would only have delayed the inevitable outcome. Yurei pushed Monica Stone away from her and stood up to Cate Stiles. Stiles tossed her microphone and the crowd began to cheer loudly.
Yurei said something to Cate Stiles, who smiled, shrugged, and then threw the first punch. Stiles and Yurei went to war, blasting each other with punches before locking up and pushing each other around the ring. Stiles took down Yurei and nailed her with mounted punches before Yurei pushed her off. Yurei got to her feet, grabbed Stiles and threw her into the ropes. Yurei quickly ran behind her and clotheslined Stiles over the ropes. Stiles bashed off the ring apron and hit the floor. Yurei climbed through the ropes and began attacking Stiles on the outside. Stiles was sent through the steel steps. As she started to stand up, Yurei ran at her for a spear but Stiles quickly grabbed a piece of the steps and used it as a shield, causing a massive metal thud as Yurei collided with it. Stiles found a steel chair under the ring apron and swung it down on Yurei several times. Stiles tossed the chair aside and went to pick up Yurei. Yurei drove a shoulder into Stiles midsection, sending her backward. Yurei tried for another spear and connected, drilling Stiles down onto the steel chair.
Both women were slow to get up but got to their knees and started punching each other. They began to get to their feet, using each other for leverage to stand while still lobbing punches. As they stood up and got ready to continue their fight, referees swarmed around them and pulled them apart. Yurei yelled at Stiles that this isn’t over. Stiles smiled and told her to bring it. Both women were separated from each other and sent backstage.
Tracy Blood Addresses Future
A brutal attack by Witchmere sent RFW Valkyrie Champion Tracy Blood out of the previous show on a stretcher. The champion came out to the ring to address the attack and the effect it had on her. Blood walked slowly down to the ring wearing a soft collar around her neck and the Valkyrie Championship belt around her waist. She stepped through the ropes and looked around at the crowd as they cheered for her in support.
Tracy Blood told the audience that she feels worse than she looks and then laughed about it. She pointed to her neck and addressed that she was, in fact, injured and unable to compete or defend her title. The audience booed. Blood agreed and said this is the last thing she wanted to happen but she has some good news. She may not be cleared to compete tonight, however, she will be cleared to compete in time for RFW 20. The crowd began to cheer again. Blood said that Witchmere may have tried to take her out but couldn’t get the job done. The Valkyrie Champion pointed to the belt and said that she knows what Witchmere really wants. If another shot at the title is what she wants, Blood said she got the message loud and clear.
The Lords of Chaos music began to play and Witchmere came out to the ring. Witchmere looked at Tracy Blood and began to laugh. She said that she didn’t intend to “get the job done” at the last show even though she could have. If she had done that, the Valkyrie Championship wouldn’t be within her reach. Witchmere promised to finish what she started when she wins the Valkyrie Championship at RFW 20 and leaves Tracy Blood broken in the ring. LoC’s music played as Witchmere left the champion in the ring alone to think about the challenge in front of her.
Cole Arcane vs. Killer Malone w/ Jade
The main event started with Cole Arcane coming down to the ring for his opportunity to compete in the Titan Championship match at RFW 20. Arcane slapped hands with audience members before climbing into the ring.
Killer Malone came out next with Jade at his side trying to psych him up and offer encouragement. Malone stepped through the ropes and Jade followed behind while giving Arcane an icy stare. Malone gave Jade a passionate kiss and looked over at Arcane who did not appear to be phased at his opponent and his ex-girlfriend showing affection.
When the bell rang, Killer Malone locked up with Cole Arcane and took the early offensive. Malone wore Arcane down with slams and body punches, slowing things down with headlocks and mat submissions. Arcane was able to break loose and started an offensive rally, using running clotheslines and cross body blocks. Malone regained control after dodging a clothesline and replying with a spinebuster.
Malone had Arcane reeling in a corner and hit him with a clothesline. Arcane staggered out from the corner and Malone went for the knockout punch but Arcane was able to duck and hit a DDT. Arcane began to make a comeback. He kept on Malone with a brawler offense and used some more attacks off the ropes. This time, it was Malone who was in trouble. As Arcane was closing in and had Malone in a headlock, Jade stood up on the apron and started yelling at him. Arcane watched her for a moment and then whipped Killer Malone toward her into the ropes. Although Malone was able to stop himself on the ropes, he hit them hard enough to send Jade flying to floor outside. Malone looked out in shock and in his distraction, Cole Arcane came from behind, grabbed him by the head, and hit a running bulldog. Arcane covered in the center of the ring for a pinfall victory.
Cole Arcane celebrated his victory, cementing his place in the Titan Championship match at RFW 20. Killer Malone rolled outside the ring and checked on Jade. Arcane’s music was cut short and replaced by Jax Rivers’ music. The Titan Champion came down to the ring and stepped through the ropes. Killer Malone slid into the ring. All three men had a tense discussion in the middle of the ring. Jax Rivers stepped back and held up his Titan Championship belt. Malone pointed at it and claimed that it would become his. Arcane disputed Malone and motioned his hands across his stomach, signaling that he would next wear the title. The tense staredown continued until Malone left with Jade, Arcane left, and Rivers stood in the ring alone, once more holding up the title for the audience.
