Welcome to Rapid Fire Wrestling!
A Special Message From RFW President C.W. Sunderland
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped make Rapid Fire Wrestling a success. It’s been a very rewarding and very fun project that has grown in ways I never expected. When Jim Rogers founded RFW, I was instantly a fan. When he approached me about taking it over, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. We’ve reached a milestone with RFW 20 and though it is the end of what we call Series 1, it is only the beginning. RFW is going to grow in some exciting ways and I can’t wait for you to experience it.
Our wrestlers help make RFW so special. A big thanks to everyone who has ever stepped between the ropes to perform in front of the RFW audience. I continue to be impressed by them and want to make sure we provide them a home to showcase their talents for years to come.
Most importantly, thank you, the fans! Without our loyal fanbase, we wouldn’t be here. You drive RFW forward and we would not have gotten this far without you. We’ve listened to you and done our best to give you the show you want. We love the energy from the live audience. Your mailbag submissions have been a blast to read and respond to. I speak for everyone at Rapid Fire Wrestling when I say that you are the lifeblood. Thank you for making Rapid Fire Wrestling a dream come true.
Please enjoy RFW 20 and we’ll see you again soon.
Show Results
RFW 20 started with a raucous crowd ready for the action to begin. Annika’s music began to play and she walked down the aisle batting away fans’ attempts to get her attention. She stepped into the ring and looked eager to start the match.
Kami King’s music kicked in and she excitedly ran through the backstage curtain and into the arena. She slapped hands with fans on her way to the ring and slid under the ropes. King stood on a turnbuckle and shook a fist in the air to rally the audience.
Annika vs. Kami King
At the sound of the bell, Annika and Kami King moved toward each other from their corners and stopped just before locking up to look around at the audience. The crowd hadn’t settled down following their ring entrances and fans were chanting “RFW! RFW,” “Kami King! Kami King,” and “Ah-Nik-Ah! Ah-Nik-Ah!” Annika stepped away and demanded a microphone. She yelled at the fans and told them it was too early to be this drunk and told them to quiet down. The crowd only got louder. Annika screamed and told everyone to shut up. They only got louder. She grunted in frustration, tossed the microphone, and turned around, right into a super kick by Kami King. King quickly covered but Annika kicked out just before the three count.
Kami King wasted no time in keeping the offense on Annika. King’s high speed offensive off the ropes kept Annika off her game. King slowed things down with some holds and Annika struggled to fight out of them. After a neckbreaker, Kami King went for another super kick to finish Annika off but Annika ducked and then used a judo throw to take King down. Annika took over in the match and overpowered King, wearing her down with slams and submissions. King fed off the crowd and started to make a comeback. King ran off the ropes and went for a clothesline but Annika caught her arm, flipped her down to the ground, and locked in the arm bar submission. King tapped out and the referee called for the bell.
Annika held the arm bar on Kami King after the bell but let go before the decision was reversed. Annika looked proud of her victory as the referee raised her arm. She left the ring and ignored the audience booing her as she walked up the aisle with her head held high.
KO Match Koji Otaka vs. Dan Masters
Tensions between Koji Otaka and Dan Masters reached new heights in RFW and it all came to a conclusion in a Knockout Match. The only way to win is to knock out your opponent or make them submit. Koji Otaka came down to the ring first and climbed through the ropes. He slapped himself on the chest and raised a fist in the air, drawing a cheer from the audience.
Dan Masters came out to the ring next. He stood up on the ring apron and had some words with Otaka before stepping through the ropes. Otaka merely stood there and waited for the match to begin.
At the sound of the bell, both men stood in the middle of the ring and stared each other down. Dan Masters shoved Koji Otaka, who barely moved. Otaka shoved Masters back who stumbled backward but stayed on his feet. Masters came back at Otaka and they locked up. Otaka transitioned into an armbar and used that as the starting point of his offensive momentum. Masters was crushed to the mat with slams, suplexes, and a piledriver. The referee checked on Masters after the piledriver and make sure Masters was not knocked out. Masters signaled that he was still in it and started to stand up. Otaka closed in for another attack but Masters nailed him with a low blow. The referee scolded Masters but he ignored the referee and started attacking Otaka.
Masters assaulted Otaka and focused on his back. Otaka had little chance to retaliate as Masters was relentless in his attack. Masters locked Otaka in a Boston crab and leaned back as far he could. Otaka struggled to escape but was able to wiggle loose. Masters stayed on him and hit a fisherman buster. Otaka wasn’t knocked out but was in a lot of pain. Masters stomped on him and then tried for another Boston crab. Otaka kicked Masters away, pulled himself up off the mat, and charged at the unexpected Masters with a clothesline. Both men fell to the mat and were slow to get up.
Koji Otaka was trying to get up while Dan Masters slid under the ropes and dropped to the outside. He reached under the ring apron and felt around until he pulled a toolbox out. Masters fished around in the box and grabbed a large wrench. He slipped back into the ring as Otaka, now on his feet, went over to attack. Masters was on his knees and when Otaka got close enough, Masters swung the wrench up and cracked Otaka in the jaw. Otaka’s legs got shaky and he fell down to the mat. The referee checked on Otaka. The Japanese star was not knocked out but was in a bad way. He got to his knees and spit blood out on the mat. He tried to stand up but fell over against the ropes. Masters smiled and walked over to Otaka. He picked Otaka up and threw him back down to the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex. Otaka bounced on the mat but showed signs of life, clawing around for something to help him get up.
Masters kicked Otaka in the head several times and demanded the referee check on him. Otaka was not knocked out and Masters looked frustrated. He forced Otaka to his feet and went for a short arm clothesline that Otaka somehow saw coming and reversed it into a fallaway slam. Masters bounced on the mat while Otaka stood up, showing signs of life once again. He slapped his chest hard and screamed. The crowd started cheering.
Dan Masters saw the new fire in Koji Otaka and sat on the mat with his hands up, begging Otaka to back off. Otaka blasted Masters in the face with a big boot. Masters flopped back down onto the mat and the force of the blow rolled him right out of the ring to the floor. Otaka followed outside and wasted no time in slamming Masters on the floor. He threw Masters into the barricade. This time it was Masters who looked in trouble. He scrambled to get away from Otaka and found the toolbox again. Masters picked it up and tried to hit Otaka with it but failed. Otaka saw it coming and hopped back. Masters stumbled to the floor with the toolbox, sending tools flying. Otaka picked up Masters by the hair and went for a power bomb on the floor. Masters countered it into a facebuster.
Masters pulled out a steel chair and tossed it into the ring before rolling Otaka in. Otaka forced himself to a standing position as Masters picked up the chair. Masters swung the chair right into Otaka’s chest. Otaka, unfazed, yelled out in a war cry and tackled Masters. The chair bounced and fell in the middle of the ring. Koji Otaka picked up Dan Masters and powerbombed him on the chair, making a horrifying metal-on-flesh sound. Without wasting a moment, Otaka picked Masters up and powerbombed him a second time on the chair. Then a third. And a fourth. And a fifth. A sixth. Finally, after a seventh consecutive powerbomb, the referee pushed Koji Otaka back, took one quick look at Dan Masters, and called for the bell.
Koji Otaka was declared the winner of the match. He raised his arm in victory and looked over his shoulder at Dan Masters, who was just starting to show signs of life. Otaka wiped blood from his mouth, wiped it away on the side of his trunks, and left the ring.
Maria Estrella vs. Aurora Starkey
Aurora Starkey sent a message to everyone in the Women’s Division when she attacked Maria Estrella. Estrella, looking to teach Starkey some respect, came down to the ring full of energy. She climbed through the ropes, stood up on the turnbuckle, and blew a kiss to the crowd.
Aurora Starkey came out next, turning her nose up at the audience as she walked down the aisle. Starkey stepped into the ring and stood with her arms out as her cape fluttered around her. She removed the cape and handed it to the referee to take care of before taking her corner.
Aurora Starkey and Maria Estrella locked up in the middle of the ring when the bell rang. They both tested each other’s strength, trying to overpower the other woman. Estrella started to build momentum, taking Starkey down and suplexing her every time she tried to get up. Estrella started using the ropes for some running offense and it wasn’t long before Starkey slid out of the ring for a breather. Maria Estrella stood in the ring and waited while Starkey took her time, stretching her arms and pacing around one side of the ring before stepping back in.
Aurora Starkey invited Maria Estrella to another tie up. When Estrella locked up, Starkey rolled backward, sending Estrella face first into a turnbuckle. Starkey then went on the offensive, stomping on Estrella methodically before propping her in the corner and hitting with a big boot. Estrella fell to the mat and looked dazed. Starkey continued her attack and then signaled that she was going to use Estrella’s own finisher against her. As Starkey went for the running powerslam, Estrella slipped free and kicked up off the mat, getting into a fighting stance before Starkey could turn around.
Estrella went on the offense again. Starkey once again tried to escape the ring but Estrella pulled her back in by the back of her tights. Estrella started a late match rally and went to pick up Starkey for the running powerslam but Starkey held onto a rope to block the move, slipped free, and nailed a jaw breaker. Estrella stumbled back against the ropes. Starkey picked up Estrella in a gorilla press and dropped her down to the mat. Starkey followed up with a sitout powerbomb and pinned Estrella for the victory.
The Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal
From day one, Rapid Fire Wrestling has been proud to acknowledge its roots in the 1990s promotion, Masters of Wrestling. The battle royal was a popular attraction in MoW and the Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal is tribute to those classic matches.
Mark Blood came down to the ring as the first entrant. Blood, the son of legendary MoW wrestler Mike Blood, vowed to win the battle royal and claimed the MoW award was made for him. He looked confident on his way to the ring.
Blood’s nemesis, and winner of the first MoW match, Shawn Roberts, came down next. He was full of energy as he ran down the aisle, slapping hands with audience members. He and Blood shared some verbal sparring in the ring.
Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper, members of the Lords of Chaos, came down to the ring together as the next entrants. LoC stood in front of the ring and stared up at Blood and Roberts. Roberts sat on the middle rope and lifted the top rope, inviting them into the ring with a big smile. Anarchy shook his head before he and Pit Viper slid under the ropes from opposite sides.
Out next was Vito DeFazio. DeFazio stepped out into the arena with Hardworkin’ Dave Smith, his life coach. Smith gave DeFazio an ultimatum that he had to eliminate at least one person to prove his dedication, otherwise Smith would leave him. Smith fist bumped DeFazio, offered some words of encouragement, and slapped the portly wrestler on the back, sending him on his way to the ring.
Andre Jordan came down to the ring as the next entrant. Jordan, who recently returned to RFW, claimed to be a supreme athlete that the company needs for legitimacy. He climbed in the ring and looked disgusted with the other entrants.
“Badlands” Bill Stanton made his way to the ring next. Stanton, a veteran who started his career in the New Revolution Wrestling League, got the crowd cheering as he pumped them up on his way to the ring.
After a pause, music began to play and the crowd erupted into cheers as Hardcore Adam, a legend from MoW’s contemporary wrestling promotion, Super Century Strong Fighter, as well as NRWL, came down to the ring. The audience was on their feet as Hardcore Adam stood at the arena entrance and looked out at them. He tapped his heart with his fist a few times and pointed out at the crowd before walking down to the ring, taking his time to slap hands with the fans. He climbed into the ring and surveyed his opponents.
New music started to play, bringing the audience to cheers once again as Crash MuscleGate came out to the arena. Crash, one of Hazardous Awesome Wrestling’s most popular stars, walked down to the ring with a big smile on his face. The crowd stood on their feet as Crash stood on a turnbuckle and riled them up.
Everyone waited for the final man to enter the arena. To much confusion, RFW President, C.W. Sunderland came out to the entrance. Sunderland told everyone that running MoW was such an important time in his life and he feels like he is getting to do it all over again with RFW. However, he reminded everyone that RFW was not his creation. He said it was created by an MoW Original and it only feels right that an MoW match of this magnitude should include an MoW Original. Sunderland then asked everyone to welcome the final entrant, RFW founder and MoW legend, Jim “The Rebel” Rogers.
The audience exploded and gave a standing ovation to The Rebel as he stepped out into the arena. He laughed and cheered along with the fans as he made his way to the ring. The crowd chanted “RFW! RFW! RFW!” as he stood in the ring with the other wrestlers. He looked at them all and shrugged with a smile.
Tension grew as everyone stood in the ring waiting for the bell. It rang, the audience cheered with excitement, and ten men collided in the ring. Fists flew, wrestlers pushed each other up against the ropes, and tests of strength were displayed. In one corner of the ring, Andre Jordan slugged away at Vito DeFazio. Mark Blood joined in and then attempted to dump DeFazio over the top rope but DeFazio fought out of it. Roberts and Blood duked it out while Jordan and Crash locked up. Jordan hip tossed Crash to the mat and yelled at him, but wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings. Vito DeFazio took the distracted Jordan by the head and threw him over the top rope to the floor making Jordan the first man eliminated from the match. DeFazio had a look of shock on his face that was topped only by Andre Jordan, who stared up at the ring in complete disbelief. As Jordan walked away, DeFazio began celebrating in the ring. As he turned around, Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper double clotheslined him over the top rope and eliminated him, dashing any hopes of progressing further in the match.
Back in the ring, Crash MuscleGate and Bill Stanton brawled with Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper. Crash clotheslined Pit Viper over the ropes but Pit Viper hung onto a rope and kept himself from falling to the floor. Rex Anarchy duked it out with Bill Stanton. Crash joined Stanton and together they had Anarchy reeling in a corner. Anarchy looked to be in trouble as Stanton and Crash got close to dumping him over the top rope but Pit Viper ran back into the ring and broke up the attempt. Stanton mistakenly thought Crash had hit him and started to brawl with the HAW star. Crash stunned Stanton with a forearm shot, scooped him up, and dumped Stanton over the top rope, eliminating him.
Hardcore Adam and Shawn Roberts found themselves battling it out in a corner. Mark Blood kept a low profile, ducking in a corner and scanning the ring. Pit Viper battled with Crash MuscleGate. Rex Anarchy joined in the attack but was grabbed from behind by The Rebel. Anarchy and The Rebel clashed against the ropes. The Rebel lifted Anarchy and tried to push him over the top rope but Anarchy clubbed The Rebel in the back several times to loosen the hold. Anarchy thumbed The Rebel in the eye and used the moment to clothesline the RFW founder over the ropes to eliminate him.
The battle royal continued with Rex Anarchy, Pit Viper, Hardcore Adam, Crash MuscleGate, Shawn Roberts, and Mark Blood still in the match.
Hardcore Adam went after Rex Anarchy. Mark Blood tried to avoid Shawn Roberts, using the other competitors as cover but was thwarted by Crash MuscleGate. Crash held Blood in place with a Full Nelson and Roberts got in a few body shots. Crash was nailed from behind with a double axe handle by Pit Viper. Crash released his hold on Blood and protected his head from further abuse. Crash turned around and tied up with Pit Viper, pushing him right over the ropes. Pit Viper hit the ring apron and quickly rolled back in the ring, saving himself from elimination for the second time.
Crash picked up Pit Viper and tried to hoist him over the ropes for an elimination but Pit Viper fought his way out of Crash’s grip. Rex Anarchy yanked Crash’s shoulder from behind, spun him around, and kicked him in the gut. Crash doubled over. Pit Viper grabbed Crash’s arm and threw him over the ropes. Crash MuscleGate fell to the floor and was eliminated from the match.
Shawn Roberts and Mark Blood continued to fight each other. Blood had Roberts in a corner and used some short arm clotheslines to wear down his nemesis. Roberts looked in trouble as Blood started to lift him over the top rope but in a shocking move, Roberts wrapped his legs around Blood’s head and rolled himself over the ropes. Mark Blood was dragged over the top rope and to the floor while Roberts hung onto the top rope and swung his feet up onto the ring apron. Blood found himself eliminated while Roberts stood on the ring apron and looked down at him with surprise that his act worked. Roberts climbed through the ropes to continue the match while Blood sat on the floor and tried to process what just happened.
Hardcore Adam was being double teamed by Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper until Shawn Roberts came to his aid and broke up the attack. Adam and Roberts stood across the ring from Anarchy and Pit Viper as the four final participants. The crowd cheered as the two sides came up with some strategies before they ran into the middle of the ring, fists flying.
While Hardcore Adam and Rex Anarchy battled back and forth, Shawn Roberts had Pit Viper reeling. When Pit Viper stumbled backward against the ropes, Roberts ran off the opposite ropes for a running attack. As Roberts’ back hit the top rope, Mark Blood leaped up from the floor and yanked the rope down, sending Roberts toppling over the top rope and falling out of the ring. Shawn Roberts hit the floor and was eliminated. Blood attacked Roberts on the outside, stomping on him before slugging him with punches. Referees swarmed around Blood and dragged him away.
Back in the ring, Hardcore Adam found himself alone with the other remaining competitors, the Lords of Chaos. Pit Viper and Rex Anarchy circled around Hardcore Adam. Adam, not willing to go down without a fight, struck hard and fast, blasting Anarchy with a thunderous clothesline. Pit Viper attacked Hardcore Adam from behind but Adam was able to slip away and come right back at him with a flurry of punches. Pit Viper tried in vain to block the punches but was driven down to his knees. Hardcore Adam went to pick up Pit Viper but Rex Anarchy came at Adam and stopped him. The Lords of Chaos worked together to cut down Hardcore Adam. With Adam up against the ropes, Anarchy and Pit Viper tried to eliminate him. Adam fought back and broke free. Now on the offensive, Adam pounded on both of his attackers. After a huge suplex to Rex Anarchy, Adam was struck by a drop kick from Pit Viper that sent him against the ropes. Pit Viper ran at Adam and tried for a clothesline to knock him over the ropes but Adam saw it coming and back body dropped Pit Viper over the top rope and to the floor.
The crowd exploded into cheers as Hardcore Adam evened the odds and was alone with Rex Anarchy. Anarchy was furious that Adam had eliminated Pit Viper and came at him with several fists before throwing the hardcore legend with a belly-to-belly suplex. Anarchy dragged Adam to his feet and threw him off the ropes but Adam surprised him on the rebound with a drop kick. Anarchy stumbled back against the ropes. Adam hoisted Anarchy over the ropes but Anarchy landed on his feet on the apron and pulled Adam’s neck down against the top rope. Adam was incapacitated as he gasped for air. Rex Anarchy slipped back into the ring and quickly scooped up Hardcore Adam, body slamming him over the top rope to the floor. The bell rang and Rex Anarchy stood tall as the winner of the Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal.
The Master of Wrestling
Rex Anarchy stood in the ring in triumph after winning the Masters of Wrestling Battle Royal. Pit Viper stepped back into the ring to join him and had a microphone. He handed the microphone to Anarchy.
Rex Anarchy told the audience that the Lords of Chaos are only getting started. He said his victory is just one step on their way to total domination in RFW. They aren’t done tonight and vowed to leave RFW 20 with gold. Anarchy then introduced “the next RFW Valkyrie Champion,” Witchmere.
RFW Valkyrie Championship Match Witchmere vs. Tracy Blood (c)
Witchmere came down to the ring and joined the other members of the Lords of Chaos. All three held a fist in the air in a sign of solidarity and dominance. They conversed in the ring before Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper left the ringside area.
Tracy Blood’s music began to play and the RFW Valkyrie Champion came out to the arena.
Blood looked very serious on her walk down to the ring as she focused on Witchmere. After Witchmere injured her neck in a surprise attack, Blood was looking not only for a successful title defense but also vengeance. Blood stepped through the ring ropes and raised the Valkyrie Championship belt in the air. She turned and looked at Witchmere, giving her a cold stare. Witchmere gave her the same stare in return. Blood kissed the belt and handed it to the referee who showed it to Witchmere before holding it up for the crowd. He handled the belt to the timekeeper and waited for the competitors to take their corners before calling for the bell.
When the match started, Witchmere came in close to Tracy Blood and was immediately hit with a series of strong kicks to the midsection followed by an offense that set the stage for the opening minutes of the match. Blood blasted Witchmere with hard kicks and running attacks before taking the action down to the mat with submissions. When Blood went for a high head kick to finish the match early, Witchmere ducked and took her down with a tackle.
Witchmere began an aggressive attack on Tracy Blood’s neck and shoulders. She wrenched Blood’s neck with submissions, pounded on Blood’s back, and slammed her hard on the mat.
Blood tried to fight back but Witchmere kept coming and constantly focused on the neck. Witchmere went for her head vise finisher. Blood blocked the hold but was unable to get up quickly enough. Witchmere grabbed Blood and threw her between the second and top rope, sending her to the floor hard.
On the outside, Tracy Blood was slow to move as Witchmere stalked her. Witchmere nudged Blood with her boot and seemed to be playing with the champion. Blood got to her feet with the aid of a ring post. Witchmere moved in quickly but Blood surprised her with another high head kick attempt. Witchmere narrowly dodged the kick and went into a rage. She grabbed Blood and body slammed her onto the steel steps. Witchmere wasn’t finished yet. She picked up the champion and sidewalk slammed her onto the floor. Witchmere violently pulled Tracy Blood up off the floor and rolled her into the ring.
Tracy Blood slowly moved on the mat and tried to get up but her arms and legs gave out on her. She felt around for some leverage and absently found Witchmere’s leg. As she dragged herself up to her knees, Blood wearily looked up and realized she had crawled right into Witchmere’s grasp. Witchmere offered no sympathy as the two stared at each other for a long moment. Witchmere applied the head vise. Tracy Blood screamed and tried to fight out but had to tap out. The referee called for the bell and Witchmere carelessly tossed Tracy Blood to the mat in a heap.
Witchmere stood in the ring with her arm raised and was awarded the RFW Valkyrie
Championship. Rex Anarchy and Pit Viper appeared at ringside and joined their Lords of Chaos partner. All three looked down at Tracy Blood, who was curled up and motionless on the mat as the referee tended to her and called for medical assistance. The Lords of Chaos left the ring and slowly made their way back up the aisle toward the backstage area. Rex Anarchy yelled out “The Reign of Chaos has only begun!”
No Holds Barred Match Yurei vs. Cate Stiles
Yurei’s music began to play and she came down to the ring for her match against Cate Stiles.
She climbed through the ropes and made a cutthroat motion and then waited for her opponent.
The crowd cheered as Cate Stiles music began to play. Stiles stepped out into the arena and the crowd burst into even louder applause. She looked out at the crowd and then locked her eyes on the ring. She began walking to the ring but Yurei quickly slid out of the ring and ran toward her. The fight began before Stiles even made it down the aisle. Both women blasted each other with fists and the crowd cheered wildly as Yurei and Stiles tackled each other to the floor and continued to trade punches.
The referee broke up the fight, scolding both of them and telling them to get to the ring. Yurei pushed the referee away and hit Stiles with an elbow smash. Stiles fell over and Yurei raised her arms as she strutted to the ring. The referee checked on Stiles, who signaled she was ok. Stiles looked over at the ring and saw Yurei gloating. Stiles bolted to the ring and dove under the ropes as the referee called for the bell to start the match.
Yurei stomped on Cate Stiles as she slid into the ring before building a strong offense of powerful slams. Yurei continued to wear Stiles down with submissions on the mat. Stiles started to make a comeback but Yurei crushed her with a powerslam. Yurei covered for a pin but Stiles kicked out. As Stiles began to stand up, Yurei hit her with a series of hard kicks to knock her back down and then slapped Stiles hard across the face. Stiles stood up and got in Yurei’s face. The two began brawling again leading to Yurei getting dumped through the ropes to the floor.
Yurei looked up at Cate Stiles and gave her an evil grin. She pulled two chairs out from under the ring and tossed them over the ropes. She stepped back into the ring and grabbed a chair just as Stiles picked up the other one. The two sized each other up and then started smashing the chairs into each other making a horrible racket. The reverberations from the chairs crashing caused Yurei to let the chair slip out of her hands. Stiles crashed her chair into Yurei’s side, another shot landed across Yurei’s back as she turned around. With Yurei doubled over and teetering, Stiles rammed the end of the chair into the back of her knees. Yurei fell to the mat and Stiles tossed the chair aside. Stiles then began to work on Yurei’s leg, stomping on it and setting up for the ankle lock.
Yurei escaped from Stiles before the ankle lock could be applied and backed into a corner. She pulled herself up with the ropes. Stiles ran in for an attack but Yurei hit her with a running clothesline out of the corner. Yurei was favoring her leg but stood up before Stiles. She found a chair laying in the ring and jammed it in between the top and middle turnbuckle. Yurei whipped Stiles into the corner and her back slapped against the chair. Yurei propped her up against the chair, ran in for a spear, but Stiles ducked and Yurei crashed head first into the chair. Yurei bounced back and fell to the mat. Stiles quickly grabbed Yurei’s foot and put her in the ankle lock. Yurei didn’t hold out for long before tapping out. The referee called for the bell and Cate Stiles picked up the victory in a hard fought No Holds Barred Match.
Stiles stood in the ring and celebrated her victory. She got up on a turnbuckle and motioned her hands around her waist, signaling that Witchmere’s newly won Valkyrie Championship was in her sights.
RFW Titan Championship Triple Threat Match Cole Arcane vs. Killer Malone w/ Jade vs. Jax Rivers (c)
RFW 20 closed out with a big Titan Championship match. Cole Arcane’s music began to play and he came out to the ring wearing an old WarHead t-shirt, grey jean shorts, and black boots. He pulled his shirt off, threw it into a corner of the ring, and waited for his opponents.
Killer Malone came down to the ring next with Jade at his side. Malone, wearing black boots and tights with red tape on his fists, looked very focused on the match ahead of him. Jade, dressed in a black top, skirt, and red boots, did her best to keep up as he made a beeline for the ring. He held the ropes for Jade and followed her into the ring. Jade rubbed Malone’s chest as she looked over at her former boyfriend, Arcane. She smiled and said something to Malone before giving him a kiss. She stepped out of the ring and stood ringside. Killer Malone and Cole Arcane stared at each other from the across the ring as the music stopped playing and the crowd cheered with anticipation.
The audience burst into the louder applause when Jax Rivers’ music began to play. The RFW Titan Champion stepped into the arena wearing white tights with gold boots and black elbow pads. The Titan Championship belt was draped over his shoulder as he walked to the ring and slapped hands with some fans on his way down the aisle. He slowly stepped up to the ring apron and looked at the two men who were gunning for his title. He stepped through the ropes and held the title over his head to cheers. He handed the title to the referee who showed it to the challengers, then the crowd, and then handed it to the timekeeper. All three competitors took their corners. The referee called for the bell.
Jax Rivers stood across the ring from Killer Malone and Cole Arcane, showing a clear picture of the challenge ahead of him. After a tense moment, Arcane surprised everyone by blasting Malone with a forearm shot to the side of the head. Malone and Arcane began brawling. Arcane went to whip Malone off the ropes but Rivers got in the way and leveled Malone with a big drop kick. Malone stood up and was nailed with a clothesline from Arcane. Malone stood up again but was knocked down again with a double drop kick by Arcane and Rivers. Malone rolled to the outside for a breather as Jade came to his side to talk to him.
Back in the ring, Jax Rivers and Cole Arcane looked at Malone, then at each other, and locked up. Rivers won the tie-up and transitioned it to a headlock. Arcane reversed that with a whip to the ropes and hit Rivers with a clothesline. Arcane yelled and pumped a fist in the air to psyche himself up as well as the crowd.
Arcane kept up the attack on Rivers, keeping the champion down and building real momentum. While Arcane was focused on the champion, Killer Malone entered the ring and hit him with a double axe handle from behind. This began Malone’s one man assault on both Rivers and Arcane, focusing his offense back and forth between each man. Rivers broke through the attack and started making a comeback but Malone tossed him through the ropes to the outside. Before Malone could make a move, Arcane grabbed him from behind and dumped him out of the ring as well. Rivers and Malone stood up next to each other and looked at the ring just as Cole Arcane dove through the ropes on top of both of them.
Cole Arcane got to his feet first and went after Jax Rivers, rolling him in the ring. He setup Rivers for a running bulldog out of the corner but Rivers slipped free and took Arcane out with several running clothesline followed by a drop kick. He looked out at Killer Malone who was just about to step through the ropes and grabbed the brawler by the hair. He got Malone in position for a vertical suplex over the ropes and brought him back into the ring the hard way.
Rivers commanded the ring with some quick offense, focusing his efforts on Cole Arcane until Malone broke up the attack. All three men began to brawl around the ring without any one man having control of the match until Rivers ran off the ropes and used a hurricanrana on Malone. Running off the ropes again, Rivers connected with a drop kick on Arcane. The champion called for his finisher and threw Arcane off the ropes, successfully catching him in the flapjack. Rivers covered for a pin but Malone grabbed his leg and pulled him off. Rivers got to his feet but was immediately dropped by Malone’s KO punch. Rivers fell over Arcane’s body to the mat. Malone covered for the pin but Arcane was close enough to break up the pin.
Killer Malone and Cole Arcane battled it out in the middle of the ring while Jax Rivers was slow to move in a corner. After some back and forth, Arcane had Malone ready for a running bulldog but Jade climbed up onto the ring apron and distracted him just long enough for Killer Malone to break loose, grab Cole Arcane from behind, and lock him in the full nelson. Jade blew Arcane a kiss and laughed at him. Arcane looked to be in trouble as the referee asked if he wanted to submit.
With Cole Arcane fading, and the Titan Champion incapacitated on the mat, Killer Malone looked to have victory in his grasp. With a last ditch effort, Arcane backed himself into a corner, sandwiching Malone between himself and the turnbuckle. Malone hung on but Arcane tried again, and again, until Malone’s grip was broken. Arcane fell to the mat. Frustrated, Malone started pummeling Arcane on the mat with fists. Arcane pushed Malone off and when Malone came in for a second time, Arcane blasted him with two big boots to the stomach. Malone doubled over and fell to his knees.
Cole Arcane slammed his hands on the mat and pushed himself up to his feet. He hurried over to Malone and hit him in the side of the head with a running knee. Malone fell back into the corner. Arcane picked him up in a headlock and prepared for a running bulldog. Arcane looked down at Jade outside the ring and blew her a kiss, mocking her. Jade looked horrified as she realized what was about to happen. Arcane ran and drove Killer Malone face first to the mat with a bulldog. Cole Arcane stood up and was just about to go for a pin when he was grabbed on the shoulder by Jax Rivers, spun around, and slammed to the mat with a flapjack. Jax Rivers covered for a successful pinfall and retained the RFW Titan Championship.
Jax Rivers celebrated in the ring with championship title belt in hand. He celebrated with the audience. Outside the ring, Cole Arcane slowly walked to the backstage area with his hands over his head, looking disappointed.
Killer Malone rolled out of the ring and looked to Jade for some comfort. Jade did not offer such comfort. Instead, she slapped Malone hard across the face and then shoved him, sending Malone to the floor. Jade kicked Malone in the ribs several times and screamed at him before leaving the ringside area.
As Rivers continued to celebrate in the ring, the Lords of Chaos appeared at the arena entrance and watched Rivers from across the aisle. Rex Anarchy said something to his partners as they continued to stare at the Titan Champion. Rivers took notice of them, stood up on a turnbuckle and pointed at them before motioning them an invitation to the ring. The Lords of Chaos stayed put and watched a little longer before Anarchy turned away and left with Witchmere and Pit Viper right behind him. Jax Rivers continued to watch the entrance for moment longer before giving one last salute to the fans. Rivers slung the Titan Championship belt over his shoulder and left the arena as fans chanted “RFW! RFW! RFW!”
