RFW Show #022 Results

Andre Jordan kicked off the show by coming down to the ring for a match against “Badlands” Bill Stanton. Jordan looked disgusted to be in the ring with the hardcore veteran as Stanton hyped up the crowd.

The match started out back and forth as both wrestlers tested one another. Bill Stanton got the upper hand and maintained a brawling offense against Andre Jordan. Jordan rolled out of the ring to take a breather but Stanton followed. Stanton, always at home outside the ring, took advantage of the match’s new environment and threw Jordan around on the outside. Stanton pulled out a chair from under the ring and went to swing at Jordan but Jordan ducked and the chair crashed against the ring post. Stanton was stunned and Jordan used the opportunity to take him down with a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. After a few stomps on the floor, Jordan rolled Stanton into the ring and continued his attack. After trying a few submissions that Stanton broke out of, Jordan used another belly-to-belly suplex, covered for a pin, and picked up a victory.

A Fan Like The Rest Of Us

Monica Stone addressed the audience at ringside and welcomed them to the show. She announced that there was a superstar in the crowd and introduced boxing/pro wrestling legend, Max Destruction, who was sitting in the front row. Max stood up and waved to the audience, who were cheering for him.

Stone asked Max Destruction what brought him to RFW. Max said that he has been in combat sports his entire adult life but has always been a fan first. He said he loves the action in RFW and came to enjoy the show. Stone asked if Max had any favorite wrestlers in RFW. He said he loves watching Cate Stiles because of her no-nonsense offense in the ring, which drew a loud cheer from the crowd. Stone asked if Max would be interested in getting in the ring again to which he smiled and said that he’s happy sitting with the other fans and watching the action. Monica Stone thanked him for his time and then climbed into the ring.

Jessie Vega Returns

Monica Stone asked fans to welcome “pop music sensation and RFW star,” Jessie Vega. Vega’s music began to play and the audience booed as she stepped out to the arena wearing a tight fitting t-shirt, ripped jeans, sneakers, and mirrored sunglasses. She took her time coming down to the ring with a confident look on her face. A photographer followed her to the ring and took pictures, which she posed for. She stood in the ring and grinned as she looked around at the crowd.

Stone explained that Vega had been away from RFW recording an album in Nashville and welcomed her back to the ring. Vega explained that it was hard to be away but as someone who is multi-talented, she can only do so much at once. Vega said she was happy to be back in RFW and the crowd began to boo loudly. Vega looked confused and Stone remarked that this didn’t sound like the response Vega was expecting.

Jessie Vega argued that the RFW fans should feel privileged that she has returned. She has many opportunities in her growing music career but chose to come back to RFW. Though the audience continued to reject her, she followed up by saying that she will use her newfound star power to elevate RFW and make it a cultural phenomenon. Vega’s music began to play and she posed in the ring while the photographer returned and took more picture before she left.

Koji Otaka vs. King Donovan

Following an altercation at the previous show, Koji Otaka and King Donovan were set to settle their differences in the ring. Koji Otaka came out to the ring first, slapping his chest before climbing into the ring. King Donovan made his entrance next. Donovan, a cape draped over his shoulders, slowly made his way to the ring, stood on the apron, and stared at Otaka for a long time before stepping through the ropes. Both men stayed in their corners but never took their eyes off of each other as they waited for the match to begin.

The bout began evenly matched as both wrestlers tested each others’ strength. Donovan shoved Otaka into a turnbuckle but Otaka responded with an explosive clothesline out of the corner. The former Titan Champion quickly got to his feet and booted Otaka in the gut. Otaka stumbled but came right back at Donovan, locking up and transitioning into an armbar. Otaka began working on Donovan’s shoulders, trying to limit the big man’s powerful move set.

Otaka tried for a powerbomb but Donovan blocked the move and started hitting Otaka hard and fast. Otaka was leveled by a big boot, followed by a series of slams. Donovan whipped Otaka into a corner and then ran in with a clothesline. Otaka stumbled out from the corner but Donovan caught him before he fell over and tried to get a Full Nelson locked in. Otaka fought it, freed one arm, and used the other arm to hip toss Donovan through the ropes. King Donovan fell out of the ring but landed on his feet. Angered, he reached under the bottom rope, grabbed Otaka’s ankles, and violently dragged him outside the ring. Donovan slugged Otaka with fists. Otaka fired back with a shove so hard, it sent Donovan to the floor. Otaka climbed on Donovan and nailed him with punches. Donovan pushed Otaka off and tried to escape up the aisle. Otaka followed Donovan, grabbed him by the back of the head, and slammed his forehead into the steel barricade. Donovan was stunned and Otaka started to pull him toward the ring. Donovan stopped Otaka and threw him into the barricade so hard, he went over into the crowd.

The referee continued his count as King Donovan climbed over the barricade, continuing the fight out in the crowd. Koji Otaka found an empty chair and jabbed the legs into Donovan’s midsection. Otaka went for a DDT but Donovan slipped free and continued to brawl with him. The referee reached the count of ten and called for the bell. Although the match had ended in a double count out, the fight did not end as Donovan and Otaka made their way through the audience, trading blows.

After taking Koji Otaka down with a big boot to the face, King Donovan bumped into a fan and began arguing with him. Donovan began to threaten the fan until Max Destruction appeared and stepped between them. Donovan took exception to the interference and shoved Max backward a few steps. Max stood up to Donovan and the two started to argue. Suddenly, a swarm of referees pulled them apart, aided by Otaka. Donovan was escorted backstage, as was Otaka. Max stood in the audience, surrounded by referees, until the scene calmed down.

Enough Is Enough

Mark Blood’s music began to play and he came down to the ring. He spoke to the audience and said that Shawn Roberts has been a thorn in his side for too long. Blood described their long history together, beginning when they were both students in his father’s wrestling school. Over the years, Roberts retreated into obscurity in Japan and was a disappointment while Blood has continued to fight through every challenge that came his way, never backing down when things got tough. He said Roberts came to RFW as a hack announcer and suddenly thought he could slip back into the wrestling ranks and be someone. Blood said he has had enough and will put Shawn Roberts down for good.

This brought out Shawn Roberts who defended his choice to go to Japan, saying it made him a better wrestler and he brought all of that skill to RFW, where he intends to cement his legacy as one of the best wrestlers in the entire world. Roberts said he’d had enough of Blood’s attitude and deceptive antics and wants to finish this once and for all. He paused, and then said he feels the only way this will end is when one of them is out of the picture. Blood agreed and told Roberts to leave on his own or he’ll take Roberts out by force.

RFW President C.W. Sunderland came down to the ring and tried to calm the situation. He said he values Mark Blood and Shawn Roberts as two of his very best wrestlers. He wants both of them around as part of the foundation of RFW. Roberts and Blood continued to argue, refusing to accept that they can settle their differences as long as they are sharing a locker room. Sunderland gave up and said if that’s how each man really feels, he will provide a solution. He then announced that Shawn Roberts and Mark Blood will compete in a Loser Leaves Town match. The loser of the match will be forced to leave RFW. This seemed to please both wrestlers, who traded some harsh words for each other before leaving the ring. C.W. Sunderland appeared very troubled by what he had just set into motion.

Maria Estrella vs. Jade

The action continued as Maria Estrella made her way to the ring for a match against Jade. Estrella was excited as she made her way to the ring. Jade came out next, looking confident as she stepped through the ropes.

Maria Estrella got off to an early lead, keeping Jade off her game with a quick offense that evolved into a chain of power moves. Jade hit the mat hard after a vertical suplex and was slow to recover. Estrella tried for a pin but Jade kicked out. Estrella continued on offense until Jade used a drop toe hold that sent Estrella head first into the bottom turnbuckle. Jade attacked Estrella’s lower back and also her knees. She pulled Estrella’s leg up into a single leg Boston crab. Estrella struggled but was able to reach the ropes to break the hold.

Jade continued on the attack but Maria Estrella reversed an atomic drop into a bulldog. Estrella went back on the attack, wearing down Jade, and slamming her to the mat with a running powerslam. As Estrella was about to go for a pin to finish the match, Jessie Vega appeared in the aisle with a microphone. She called out Estrella and said that she hadn’t forgotten about their previous encounter when Estrella powerslammed her, calling the move cowardly as Vega was on crutches and “helpless” at the time. Jade recovered while Estrella was distracted, rolled her up with a schoolboy pin, and picked up an upset victory.

Jade rolled out of the ring and jumped for joy. She walked backward with her arms raised and hugged Jessie Vega. Vega smiled and raised Jade’s arm, taunting Maria Estrella, who bit her lip in frustration and stared at both women in the aisle.

Jax Rivers Responds To Rex Anarchy

Monica Stone was standing in the ring and introduced RFW Titan Champion, Jax Rivers, who came down to the ring with the Titan Championship belt over his shoulder. He hyped up the fans after stepping in the ring and posed on a turnbuckle before walking beside Monica Stone.

Stone asked if Jax Rivers had heard the challenge from Rex Anarchy. Rivers said he heard the challenge loud and clear. He said he was not scared of Rex Anarchy or the Lords of Chaos. If Anarchy wants a title match, Rivers said he can have it. He then announced that the match was made official before he came out to the ring and it will happen at the next show.

Stone asked Rivers if he is prepared to deal with the other members of the Lords of Chaos. Before Rivers could respond, Rex Anarchy’s music began to play and he stepped out to the arena entrance. Anarchy told Monica Stone that Jax Rivers only needs to be prepared to lose the Titan Championship because it’s the only possible outcome to the match. Rivers responded and said that it didn’t matter who was at ringside. He had no intention to letting the Titan Championship fall into the hands of a group of thugs. Anarchy laughed at the comment and said that the Lords of Chaos are the future and they are taking the title into that future with them. Anarchy went backstage and Jax Rivers stood in the ring. He appeared distracted when Stone asked him if he was ready for the match. After realizing he had been asked a question, Rivers reiterated that the title wasn’t going anywhere.

Valkyrie Championship Number One Contender Match

Aurora Starkey vs. Cate Stiles

The main event kicked off with Aurora Starkey headed to the ring to meet Cate Stiles. The winner gets a title shot against Valkyrie Champion and Lords of Chaos member, Witchmere. Starkey stood in the ring and held her arms out as a spotlight shined down on her. As her music faded out, the crowd started chanting for Cate Stiles.

After a long moment in anticipation, Cate Stiles’ music kicked in and the audience roared into cheers. Cate Stiles stepped out into the arena with a look of determination as she walked confidently to the ring. She climbed through the ropes and paced around the ring before taking her corner and pulling on the ropes. The crowd were energetic as they waited for the bell to ring.

Aurora Starkey and Cate Stiles circled each other as they traded words. They tied up in the middle of the ring and Stiles immediately got the crowd going again when she hip tossed Starkey to the mat. Starkey looked up at Stiles in disbelief, which transformed into fury. Starkey got up and locked up with Stiles again. Stiles transitioned it into headlock, a takedown, and immediately started focusing her attack on Starkey’s legs.

Stiles tried for a snap suplex but Starkey blocked the attempt and hit her with a huge clothesline. Starkey went on the offensive, throwing Stiles around the ring with slams. Starkey wore down Stiles and tried for a pin but was unsuccessful. Starkey tossed Stiles into the ropes and hit her on the way back with a big boot. Stiles hit the mat, but so did Starkey, who was still feeling the effects from Stiles earlier attacks on her legs.

Starkey recovered and went after Stiles again, but Stiles dodged a clothesline in the corner, sending Starkey chest-first into the turnbuckle. Starkey stumbled out of the corner and walked right into a springboard drop kick. Stiles tried for an ankle lock but Starkey slipped away and tried to flee the ring. Stiles grabbed Starkey from the back of her tights and pulled her back in. The crowd cheered as Starkey was pulled back into the ring and Stiles drove knees down into

Starkey’s right leg. Stiles went for another ankle lock. This time, Starkey’s ankle was locked in tight. She tried to hold out but was forced to submit and the crowd cheered as Cate Stiles picked up the victory.

As the referee raised Cate Stiles arm, Witchmere slipped into the ring and blasted her in the head with a vicious forearm. Stiles fell to the mat. Witchmere picked up Stiles and drove her back down to the ring with a powerbomb. Wasting no time, Witchmere climbed out of the ring, found a steel chair, and slid it into the ring. Stiles was slowly getting to her feet but it wasn’t soon enough. Witchmere cracked the chair over Stiles back before throwing the chair down. Witchmere body slammed Stiles onto the chair making a sickening sound as her back slapped against the metal.

Cate Stiles writhed around in pain on the mat as Witchmere looked down at her with a blank stare. Suddenly, she reached down, grabbed Stiles by the hair, and squeezed with the head vise. Stiles quickly passed out before Witchmere carelessly tossed her to the side. The crowd booed as Witchmere stood in the middle of the ring with a fist raised in the air.
