Annika Competing In MMA Tournament In Brazil

Show Results

The show started off with a match that carried a lot of emotional weight. Maria Estrella came down to the ring for a match against her former best friend, Jessie Vega. Estrella was less energetic than usual and seemed distracted on her way to the ring.

Jessie Vega’s music began to play and she walked down the aisle with her photographer in front of her, snapping pictures. Vega pressed a few stickers of herself as a chibi character on some of the audience signs, particularly Maria Estrella signs. She stood in the ring and posed for the camera once more before removing her mirrored sunglasses and looking over her shoulder at Estrella who watched her from a corner of the ring.

The match began with Jessie Vega taunting Maria Estrella. They locked up in the middle of the ring and Vega pushed Estrella back. She posed in the ring and ducked out of the way when Estrella came at her. Vega laughed and taunted Estrella again. After another tie up, Estrella pushed Vega up against the ropes and slapped her hard across the face, drawing a loud reaction from the crowd.

From this point on, Jessie Vega got serious and the former friends traded offense back and forth. Maria Estrella overpowered Vega but Vega had a speed advantage and slipped free of Estrella’s grasp. Vega relied on holds and submissions to weaken Estrella’s arms. Although Estrella started to pick up some momentum, Vega turned things around with a swinging neckbreaker. Vega transitioned from using holds to more off the ropes offense.

After a DDT in the middle of the ring, Vega climbed to the top rope and went to finish of Estrella with a frogsplash but Estrella got her knees up to block the move. Vega rolled around the mat in pain as Estrella used the opportunity to recover and make a comeback. Estrella nailed a running powerslam and was about to go for a pin when Jade ran down to the ring and stood up on the apron, distracting the referee. Maria Estrella confronted Jade but it gave Jessie Vega time to recover. Vega grabbed Estrella from behind and rammed her head into the top turnbuckle. Estrella fell to the mat. Vega quickly climbed to the top rope and hit the frogsplash, covered for a pin, and picked up a victory over Maria Estrella.

Jessie Vega rolled out of the ring and hugged Jade. They left ringside together, looking back to laugh at Maria Estrella, who was slow to get up. Vega and Jade posed together for Vega’s personal photographer and left ringside. Estrella looked frustrated at falling for the same trick again.

The Confident Champion

The Lords of Chaos’ music began to play and Witchmere came out to the ring with the Valkyrie Championship around her waist. She stepped into the ring to meet with Monica Stone for an interview.

Monica Stone informed the audience that Cate Stiles won the right to face Witchmere for the Valkyrie Championship at Rapid Fire Festival. She asked Witchmere about her upcoming opponent. Witchmere said that the RFW fans love Cate Stiles. Other wrestlers respect her tenacity. She does not love or respect Cate Stiles. Witchmere made sure to remind everyone that she warned Stiles what would happen if she came after the Valkyrie Championship and now she is sitting at home licking her wounds. Before leaving, she offered an ominous message. The first attack was just the start. She will destroy Stiles just like anyone else who gets in her way.

Loser Leaves Town Match

Mark Blood vs. Shawn Roberts

After months of feuding, a deep seeded rivalry came to an end as Mark Blood came down to the ring for his match against Shawn Roberts. As usual, Blood ignored the boos from the audience and climbed into the ring. Roberts came out next to applause and he slid under the top rope, climbed a turnbuckle and pumped up the crowd. As Roberts and Blood stood across the ring from each other, there was a heaviness to what was about to happen. The winner of the match would continue on their RFW path. The loser would be forced to leave RFW completely.

The bell rang and the crowd noise grew in anticipation. Both men stood face to face and stared at each other. Mark Blood began to look around at the audience. Shawn Roberts began speaking to Mark Blood, dug a finger into his own chest, and then pointed around the ring. Blood just stared back until he suddenly shoved Roberts, sending him to the mat. Before Roberts could get up, Blood dove on top of him and lobbed fists. Blood took over the match, working hard on Roberts’ back.

The crowd cheered on Shawn Roberts but Mark Blood held strong on the attack. Roberts escaped from a Boston Crab and tried to pull himself up using the ropes. Blood saw him in a weakened state and ran at him but Roberts dug deep and shouldered Blood over the ropes. Blood fell to the floor and Roberts used the opportunity to recover.

Shawn Roberts followed Mark Blood to the outside and the battle continued. Though no weapons were used, the two had a slugfest that caused Blood’s eyebrow to split open. With blood in his eye, Mark Blood was partially blinded and Roberts used it to his advantage. After some body slams that caused a sickening sound on the floor, Roberts snap suplexed Blood into the crowd barricades. Blood looked hurt as Roberts dragged him to his feet and rolled him into the ring. Roberts covered for a pin but Blood kicked out. Roberts continued his offensive work in the ring. Roberts used a hurricanrana and then climbed to the top rope. He launched off the top with a shooting star press that landed squarely on Mark Blood. Roberts covered for a pin.

With the referee’s hand a hair away from hitting the mat for the third time, Mark Blood rolled his shoulder off the mat to the shock of everyone. The crowd’s shock was second only to Shawn Roberts. Roberts stared at Blood with his jaw dropped. Blood was staring up at the rafters absently as he bled onto the mat. Roberts refocused himself and picked Blood up to take another shot at putting him away. Roberts threw Blood into a corner and followed closely behind for a body splash. Blood slid down to the mat on rubbery legs. He crawled toward Roberts and looked up at him, exhausted.

Mark Blood appeared to plead with Shawn Roberts. Roberts considered his next move and began to pick Blood up to his feet. As Roberts stood him up, Blood drove a knee deep into Roberts’ gut. Roberts doubled over and Blood drove a double axehandle to his upper back. Roberts fell to the mat and held the back of his neck. Mark Blood, on weak legs, grinned and began to methodically stomp on Roberts. After a neck breaker, Blood went for a tombstone piledriver but Roberts slipped free and came back with a flurry of punches. The wound on Blood’s head began to spill once again. Roberts ran off the ropes and tried for a hurricanrana but Blood reversed it into a powerbomb. Roberts bounced off the mat. Blood slowly got to his feet, picked up Roberts for a tombstone piledriver, and drove him into the mat. Blood fell down with an arm draped over Roberts’ chest. The referee counted to three and when the bell rang, Shawn Roberts’ time in RFW was over.

Mark Blood rolled out of the ring and stumbled toward the arena entrance. He looked back at the ring and grinned before walking backstage. In the ring, Shawn Roberts slowly got to his feet and fell forward against the ropes. He let his body drape over the top rope for a long moment and listened to the audience clapping and chanting his name. He pushed himself off the ropes and stood in the middle of the ring, looking at the audience. As they gave him a fond farewell, he bowed and thanked them before stepping out of the ring. Shawn Roberts took a final lap around the outside of the ring and slapped hands with the ringside fans, eventually working his way up the aisle. Before leaving the arena, he took one more look back at the ring and the audience, bowed once again, and left RFW.

Added Enforcement

King Donovan’s music played and he looked furious as he made his way to the ring. He grabbed a microphone and yelled through the noise from the audience that he wanted Max Destruction in the ring. He demanded a match with the wrestling legend and refused to the leave the ring until he got a match with him.

Max Destruction didn’t come out to respond but Koji Otaka did. Otaka climbed into the ring and told King Donovan that he needed to stay focused on their unfinished business. Donovan warned Otaka to leave the ring and move on. Otaka refused and both men looked ready to come to blows.

RFW President C.W. Sunderland came out to the ring and said that he just watched a conflict escalate to a point where one of the best wrestlers just got forced out of RFW. He wasn’t willing to let that happen again and said this disagreement must end. Sunderland told both men to cool off and return at the upcoming Rapid Fire Festival where they can settle their differences once and for all. Donovan cut Sunderland off and said he wants Max Destruction in a match. Sunderland said that can’t happen because Max Destruction is already busy at Rapid Fire Festival. He then announced that Max Destruction will be the special enforcer in their match. Sunderland left and King Donovan was livid. He stormed around the ring and bumped into Koji Otaka. Both men stared each other down before leaving.

Titan Championship Match

Rex Anarchy vs. Jax Rivers (c)

The main event kicked off with Lords of Chaos leader Rex Anarchy entering the ring and looking confident as he waited for the champion. Jax Rivers’ music began to play and the Titan Champion stepped into the arena. Rivers made his way to the ring but before making it down the aisle, Pit Viper from the Lords of Chaos ran down and blasted Rivers from behind. Rivers fell to the floor and the Titan Championship flew off of his shoulder. Pit Viper grabbed the belt and slammed it into Rivers’ head. As Rivers tried to get to his feet, Pit Viper pulled him down with a backstabber. Security swarmed around the Lords of Chaos member and pulled him backstage.

Rex Anarchy adjusted the tape around his wrists and beckoned for the champion to come to the ring. Rivers recovered and made it to the ring. The referee checked on him to make sure he was able to compete. Rivers insisted he was. The referee called for the bell and the match began.

Rex Anarchy dominated the Titan Champion from the moment the match began. Jax Rivers took a beating but continued to get up. Anarchy played with Rivers, even taunted him, as he slammed him around the ring. Rivers found himself in a series of submissions that continued to tire the already fatigued champion. Fortune changed, however, when Anarchy whipped Rivers off the ropes. Rivers started to duck a clothesline and countered it with a flapjack out of nowhere. Rivers went for a pin and though Anarchy kicked out it was opportunity for him to get back in the match.

Rivers went on the offensive, slow at first, but then picked up the pace and started showing real fire. Rivers hit a series of big drop kicks and an enziguri. He took Anarchy for a ride with suplexes before climbing to the second turnbuckle and diving off with an elbow drop. Rivers covered for another pin but Anarchy kicked out. Rivers changed his strategy and started using submissions on the challenger. Anarchy broke free of a camel clutch and pulled Rivers down for a small package. Rivers kicked out. Both men got to their feet and stood face-to-face before making their next moves.

After a tie up in the ring, Rex Anarchy got the best of Jax Rivers and began to focus strong on the champion’s back. He used a backbreaker submission that Rivers was able to break free of but it was obvious that he was feeling the effects. Rivers started another offensive rally and threw Anarchy off the ropes for another flapjack. Anarchy ducked but Rivers spun around and tried for a back suplex. Rivers’ back gave out on him and he was unable to lift Anarchy, who quickly grabbed him and drove him to the mat with a fisherman buster. Anarchy covered for the pin, picked up the victory, and become the new RFW Titan Champion.

As Rex Anarchy was awarded the Titan Championship belt, the Lords of Chaos came down to the ring. Pit Viper held Anarchy’s arm high in the air in celebration as Witchmere stood alongside him and held her Valkyrie Championship belt over her head. The Lords of Chaos officially took their place as the dominant force in RFW.
