Tiger Johnson begins his new role immediately.
Rapid Fire Wrestling Signs JT Crusher
RFW is pleased to announce the signing of JT Crusher to the roster.
JT Crusher is a biker who travels the roads of America and makes his money competing in wrestling matches. His most notable in-ring appearance was in New Revolution Wrestling League. His powerful fighting style combined with his brash personality will make him a formidable opponent for everyone in RFW.
Outside The Ring
Jessie Vega On Tour
RFW star Jessie Vega is out of the ring while she tours in support of her new album. Vega has said in interviews that she is eager to step back into the ring when the tour is over, though many in RFW’s locker room feel that Vega is only using RFW as a way to further promote herself.
Spotlight: Tracy Blood
Former Valkyrie Champion, Tracy Blood, is looking to return to the top spot in RFW’s Women’s division. We sat down with Blood to talk about her journey to RFW, becoming champion, and being forced out of action due to injury.
RFW: Welcome back to RFW. Before we talk about that, let’s recap how you got here. Your father, Mike Blood, is a legend in this business and your brother, Mark, followed in his footsteps. You went in a different direction. What attracted you to an MMA career?
Tracy Blood: I took an interest in kickboxing when I was a teenager and it naturally snowballed from there. The truth is, when I was hanging around backstage while my father was wrestling, there weren’t a lot of opportunities for women so I just took my kickboxing training to the next level and started competing. I added mat wrestling to my training and that helped me build an MMA career. I always kept my eye on wrestling, though, and I figured if the opportunity to get into the “family business” came about, I would make that transition.
RFW: So you saw Rapid Fire Wrestling as that opportunity and made the jump?
Blood: Basically, yeah. I was doing pretty well in MMA but I had ignored a few nagging injuries. I worked through them for a while but eventually I had to take time off and heal up. Right around that time, I saw RFW taking off and really liked what I saw. So, I decided to leave MMA and start focusing on a wrestling career and that’s how I got here.
RFW: You replaced Cate Stiles in the Valkyrie Championship tournament and became the inaugural champion. How did that feel, especially having just started your wrestling career?
Blood: It was a whirlwind time! It really was a right place, right time kind of thing. I was approached by Mr. Sunderland about it. He said that Cate was hurt pretty bad and wouldn’t be able to compete in the championship match. I was in shock that he would ask me but he felt it was the right move. The finish of that championship match was kind of messy and I know there is a part of our audience who rejected me because of it but I pushed forward and I hope that my run as champion proved that I was a worthy champion.
RFW: You lost the Valkyrie Championship to Witchmere at RFW 20 and suffered some injuries. How did it feel to go out that way?
Blood: I was crushed. Totally crushed. IT wasn’t so much losing the Valkyrie Championship, though that was bad enough. The fact that I had to sit at home while I watched Witchmere carry the title broke my heart. Knowing that I couldn’t compete to get it back was difficult. But,
I’m back now. I’m healthy. I’m determined to win back the Valkyrie Championship.
Show Recap
Andre Jordan vs. Vito DeFazio w/ Hardworkin’ Dave Smith
Andre Jordan looked annoyed to be in the ring with Vito DeFazio. Hardworkin’ Dave Smith gave DeFazio a pep talk in the corner before the bell rang. To the audience’s surprise, and especially Jordan’s, DeFazio put on a strong effort, controlling much of the early going of the match. Jordan got the upper hand by blocking DeFazio’s DDT and reversing it into a suplex.
DeFazio made a late match comeback but Jordan’s belly-to-belly suplex was enough to keep
DeFazio down for the three count. Jordan picked up a victory, though it was not easily earned. Outside the ring, Dave Smith consoled DeFazio.
Valkyrie Championship Scramble
Cate Stiles came down to the ring to address her Valkyrie Championship opportunity at Rapid Fire Festival. Stiles said she should be standing in the ring with the Valkyrie Championship around her waist but the Lords of Chaos used their pack mentality to keep the title on Witchmere. Stiles vowed to capture the Valkyrie Championship and if she has to dismantle the Lords of Chaos to do it, she will.
Tracy Blood came down to the ring and sympathized with Stiles but reminded her that as former champion, she is entitled to a rematch. Stiles told Blood that she can have her rematch after Stiles becomes champion.
RFW Commissioner Tiger Johnson came down to the ring to a loud applause. He thanked the audience for the warm reception and told them he is excited to support RFW as it continues to grow. He then turned his attention to the situation in the ring. Johnson felt that both women had good arguments to be granted a title shot against Witchmere. He made Cate Stiles vs. Tracy Blood as the main event for the evening. The winner will become number one contender.
Tracy Blood and Cate Stiles stared each other down before leaving the ring.
“Badlands” Bill Stanton vs. JT Crusher
Bill Stanton welcomed JT Crusher to RFW with a hard hitting match. Stanton pummeled Crusher at the beginning of the match but Crusher’s strength kept him from staying down. After a short comeback, JT Crusher nailed Stanton with a bit boot and pinned him for a victory.
Following the match, Crusher kicked Stanton out of the ring and stood proudly as the crowd booed him.
Path To Destruction
King Donovan made his way to the ring, dressed in an expensive suit. He declared himself untouchable and the biggest attract in RFW’s history. When booed following that remark, he said he can prove it and cited his victory over Koji Otaka despite Max Destruction getting in his way during the match.
Donavan said that he doesn’t know where Max Destruction is or what he is doing but laid out a challenge. Donovan challenged Max to a match in the RFW ring. Donovan promised to show Max that he never should have shown his face in RFW.
The Master of Wrestling
Monica Stone welcomed Mark Blood to the ring to discuss his Masters of Wrestling match victory at Rapid Fire Festival. The crowd booed as Blood came down to ringside and he only smirked at them as he stepped through the ropes.
Monica Stone congratulated Mark Blood for winning the Masters of Wrestling Wilderness Survival Match. Blood said he has always been the master of wrestling in RFW. He has now proven it and wants to go to the next level and capture the Titan Championship.
Cole Arcane comes down to the ring to interrupt. Mark Blood looked angry that the audience cheered. Arcane congratulated Blood for winning the match but suggests that he wasn’t the true winner and instead was the tree that fell on Arcane, pinning him to the ground. Blood rolled his eyes and mockingly laughed. Blood reiterated that he is the best wrestler in RFW and will teach Arcane a lesson the hard way by defeating him once again and moving on to capture the Titan Championship.
This brought out former Titan Champion, Jax Rivers. Rivers said he won’t sit back and watch the Titan Championship slip away. He wants another shot at Rex Anarchy and won’t let anyone stand in his way. All three men argued until RFW Commissioner Tiger Johnson made his second appearance of the night.
Johnson said he saw an opportunity for a great match. He made the main event of RFW 27 Mark Blood vs. Cole Arcane vs. Jax Rivers in a triple threat match. The winner will become number one contender for the Titan Championship.
Killer Malone vs. Koji Otaka
Two of the toughest men in RFW went head-to-head when Koji Otaka squared off against Killer Malone. Malone got off to a strong start, keeping Otaka from getting much offense in. Malone underestimated Otaka, however, and the Japanese star found an opening and introduced Malone to a set of powerful wrestling slams. After some back and forth, Otaka looked poised to come out ahead and win the match but the Lords of Chaos dove into the ring and attacked both men, causing a no content end to the match.
Titan Champion Rex Anarchy clubbed Koji Otaka with punches and kicks in the corner. Pit Viper and Valkyrie Champion Witchmere stomped on Killer Malone. After Otaka was tossed over the ropes unceremoniously, attention was focused on Malone who stood up on shaky legs. He looked around the ring at his three attackers as they crowded around him. He courageously took the fight to them but was too outnumbered. The Lords of Chaos brutally beat him in the ring and dumped him to the floor.
Chaos Reigns
Rex Anarchy slapped the Titan Championship that was draped over his shoulder. He said they have been listening to stupid people running their mouths about becoming champion in RFW but as long as the Lords of Chaos are holding those championships, it’s all wasted effort. Anarchy said that watching people fight for an opportunity to challenge he and Witchmere amuses him.
Witchmere, not as jovial, promised to bring agony upon the winner of the main event between Tracy Blood and Cate Stiles. Witchmere and Anarchy tossed their microphones and posed in the ring with Pit Viper before leaving.
Valkyrie Championship Number One Contender Match
Tracy Blood vs. Cate Stiles
Tracy Blood and Cate Stiles stood in opposite corners with tense anticipation as they waited for the bell to ring. The crowd was loud as they, too, were anxious for the match. As the bell rang, both women met in the center of the ring. Blood offered a handshake. After some reluctance, Stiles accepted the handshake. A few seconds later, the fight began.
Tracy Blood came out strong in the opening minutes of the match, keeping Cate Stiles from getting in much offense. Blood used swift strikes before slowing the pace with some submissions. Blood focused her submissions on Stiles’ back. After breaking free of a Boston Crab, Stiles slowly started to get the upper hand. Stiles nearly picked up a pinfall following a back suplex but Blood kicked out. Stiles kept on Blood with an aggressive offense. Stiles attacked Blood’s legs and used submissions to help mute the kickboxer’s dangerous kicks. Stiles tried for her ankle lock submission but Blood squirmed free and kicked up from the mat, nailing Stiles in the gut.
With Cate Stiles doubled over in pain, Tracy Blood pushed hard for a comeback, going on offense once again. Blood started hitting Stiles hard with kicks and forearm strikes. After taking Stiles down with a drop kick, Blood got in position to hit a high head kick. As Stiles stood up, Blood went for the kick but Stiles saw the kick coming. She grabbed Blood’s foot, spun her down to the mat and held on for the ankle lock. Blood tried desperately to escape but couldn’t free herself of reach the ropes. Tracy Blood tapped out and Cate Stiles was awarded the victory and became number one contender for the Valkyrie Championship.
As Stiles celebrated in the ring, the Lords of Chaos appeared at the arena entrance and watched. Stiles shifted her attention to them as she and Witchmere had a staredown from across the arena. Witchmere stood in front of her stablemates and held her Valkyrie
Championship belt high in the air. Anarchy and Pit Viper clapped in approval for the champion before walking back through the curtain.
