Killer Malone Injured

After a brutal attack by the Lords of Chaos, Killer Malone was left with bruised ribs and a shoulder injury.

Spotlight: Cate Stiles

Ever since she attended a Masters of Wrestling show as a kid, Cate Stiles knew that being a professional wrestler was what she wanted to do with her life. As a teenager, she studied the sport closely. After high school, she juggled a college career with wrestling school and started working wrestling matches on the weekends when she could get booked.

Stiles gained experience rapidly after college when she became a full time wrestler. She worked in many different wrestling promotions and learned from her opponents. Although Stiles originally tried to model her working style after her childhood hero, RFW Founder The Rebel, the high flying stunts never seemed to click with her. Following a bad dive outside the ring that left her injured and unable to compete, she changed her approach and found her niche as a technical wrestler. Cate Stiles went from budding rookie to one of the best wrestlers in the business in a short period of time.

When Jim “The Rebel” Rogers opened Rapid Fire Wrestling, he hired Cate Stiles immediately. Stiles was excited to work with Rogers and be a part of what was being touted as a spiritual successor to MoW. She immediately grabbed the attention of the audience. Now, as one of the biggest stars in RFW, Cate Stiles is living her dream.

Now, Cate Stiles is number one contender for the RFW Valkyrie Championship. Stiles is determined to defeat current champion, Witchmere, and prove to everyone that she is the greatest wrestler in the world.

Show Recap

JT Crusher vs. Vito DeFazio w/Hardworkin’ Dave Smith

JT Crusher watched with contempt as Hardworkin’ Dave Smith gave Vito DeFazio a fist bump and hyped him up with words of encouragement before the bell rang. Smith’s words were of no help as Crusher plowed through DeFazio with a slow but consistent attack. JT Crusher won the match by pinfall following a big boot.

As JT Crusher celebrated his win in the ring, a different story was happening outside the ring. As Dave Smith tried to console his defeated friend, Vito DeFazio dismissed the gesture and walked backstage on his own, leaving Smith at ringside.

Max Destruction Responds To King Donovan

Because of an altercation at Rapid Fire Festival, King Donovan issued a challenge to Max Destruction. The veteran boxer-turned-wrestler appeared in front of the RFW audience to address the challenge.

After an entrance that was surrounded by a hero’s welcome from the crowd, Max Destruction stood in the ring and recapped Donovan’s challenge. Max explained that he had no intention of stepping into the RFW ring as a competitor. His appearance at Rapid Fire Festival as a special guest was intended to be a one time only affair. He said that he was not planning a return to the ring. The crowd began to boo with disappointment until Max held a finger in the air.

Max Destruction said that he came from a different era where respect was earned. King Donovan has not earned his respect and has an inflated ego. He said that King Donovan needs to learn about respect and feels the only way is through force. So, Max Destruction said that he will accept Donovan’s challenge and face him one-on-one in the RFW ring. The audience burst into applause and the crowd chanted Max’s name. Max left the ring and greeted fans at ringside on his way backstage.

Annika vs. Mysterie

Fresh off of an impressive performance in an international MMA tournament, Annika returned to the RFW ring for a highly competitive bout against the high flying Mysterie. Mysterie got off to an early lead with quick strikes and dizzying attacks off the ropes. After a hurricanrana and near pinfall, Mysterie had strong momentum. Annika dodged a cross body block and although Mysterie recovered quickly, Annika found openings and slowed down Mysterie enough to start a comeback.

Annika focused her attack on Mysterie’s arm, using submissions to wear down the limb. Mysterie came out of nowhere with a leaping kick and took Annika off balance. Mysterie fought strong and had Annika reeling until she tried to whip her into the corner. Annika pulled on Mysterie’s arm to reverse the throw. Because of the damage done earlier in the match, Mysterie dropped to the mat in pain. Annika closed in for a final attack and forced Mysterie to submit with an armbar.

Lack of Respect

Following her victory, Annika was joined in the ring by Monica Stone for an interview. Stone congratulated Annika on her win and asked how it felt to be back in RFW. Annika stressed that she never left and only took time off to compete in an MMA tournament that was a personal goal. Annika said that she is living her dream being in RFW and her attention is now solely focused on becoming Valkyrie Champion.

Aurora Starkey’s music began to play and she came down to the ring to confront Annika. She looked at Annika with disgust and remarked that she wrestles in a t-shirt and jeans, hardly the look of someone who would ever be considered a champion. Starkey then suggested that Annika will never be a success in RFW and should consider a permanent move to MMA. Annika responded by telling Starkey that if she wants to eliminate her as competition, intimidation will not work.

Aurora Starkey scoffed at the remark and told Annika to watch her mouth. Starkey then tried to sucker punch but Annika saw the move coming and tossed her across the ring with a judo throw. Annika stood in a fighting stance as Starkey looked up from the mat in total shock. Starkey slid out of the ring and backed up the ramp watching Annika closely.

Lords of Chaos Fear No One

The Lords of Chaos came down to the ring to address the RFW championship scene. With Rex Anarchy as Titan Champion and Witchmere as Valkyrie Champion, Lords of Chaos were firmly atop RFW. The champions spoke as their stablemate, Pit Viper, stood ominously in the background.

Rex Anarchy laughed at the evening’s main event between Mark Blood, Jax Rivers, and Cole

Arcane. He said that if the three men competing in the match is the best RFW has, the Lords of Chaos will be on top for years to come.

Witchmere said she will crush Cate Stiles and shatter the dreams of her fans. She said she is disgusted by the fan’s adoration of Stiles, because she knows that under the tough exterior, Stiles is just a small girl too fragile to withstand the abuse she will receive in their upcoming match.

Anarchy warned everyone to run and hide because the Lords of Chaos are dominating RFW.

Titan Championship Number One Contender Match

Mark Blood vs. Jax Rivers vs. Cole Arcane

Three of RFW’s biggest stars went to war to decide who would get an opportunity to fight Rex Anarchy for the Titan Championship. The match started with a tense staredown between all three men. Mark Blood struck first by lobbing fists at Cole Arcane. Jax Rivers pulled Blood back with a suplex but was himself nailed with a clothesline by Arcane, setting the pace for a frantic battle.

Cole Arcane held his own against both of his opponents, getting in an early flurry of offense before Mark Blood cut his momentum by clipping him at the knees. Blood worked Arcane’s legs and started attacking his back but Jax Rivers blasted Blood with a flying forearm off the ropes and then dominated the match with a focused assault, attacking both opponents back and forth. Rivers avoided a clothesline by Arcane, instead back body dropping him over the ropes. Arcane landed hard on the outside.

Jax Rivers tried to follow up on the attack by going outside the ring but Mark Blood followed and drove Rivers into the audience barricade. Blood then picked up a steel chair from under the ring and blasted Rivers over the back several times. Blood rolled Rivers back into the ring and continued to focus his attacks on Rivers’ back. Blood tried for a Boston Crab but Rivers managed to power out of the hold. Rivers tried to make a comeback but Blood stopped him in tracks.

Mark Blood picked up Jax Rivers and drilled him to the mat with a tombstone piledriver. Blood covered for a pin but Cole Arcane dove back into the match, breaking up the pin. Blood and Arcane got into an argument before slugging it out. Arcane dodged a punch and threw Blood through the ropes to the outside. As Arcane turned his attention to Jax Rivers, Rivers was already on his feet and caught him with a flapjack. Rivers covered for a pin and earned a victory.

Jax Rivers stood in the ring with his arm raised as the number one contender for the Titan Championship. Outside the ring, Cole Arcane held onto the apron and tried to recover as a referee checked on him. Mark Blood stood in the aisle and looked on with anger as the Titan Championship slipped further away from him.
