The Battle In Seattle Results

MoW wraps up the west coast tour with a highly anticipated supershow in Seattle, WA.

Fans were seen leaving a tour bus and “Local Historian” Dan Miller was thanking them as they exited. The fans seemed upset and disappointed with Miller with some making comments about how the bus tour was a total waste of money. Miller stepped on the bus and saw a man wearing a leather jacket with long hair covering his face in the back row. The man appeared to be asleep. Miller attempted to rouse the man who looked up at him. Miller recognized the man and looked shocked. The camera view switched to outside of the bus where a commotion was seen from the windows. Suddenly, a bloodied hand slapped against window, leaving a crimson print. The man in the leather jacket calmly stepped off the bus. He threw his hair back, revealing his face. It was wrestling legend, Fraust. Fraust walked into the arena, intentions unknown.

The night started hot with an I Quit Match between Cate Stiles and Kami King. The match featured a lot of back and forth mat wrestling as these rivals tested each other before digging into each other’s weaknesses. Stiles predictably attacked King’s previously injured leg, but King showed she did her homework by focusing on Stiles’ elbow, which was an injury she suffered prior to MoW. King tried to get Stiles to submit with an arm lock, but Stiles broke free. Stiles made a strong comeback and used her ankle lock several times while King fought out of it, each time more challenging. King was checked on by the referee as she was unable to stand. Tracy Blood came down to ringside in support of King. Blood tried to convince King to forfeit but King pulled herself to her feet using the ropes for leverage. King argued with Blood until Stiles stepped in between them and berated Blood for interfering. Stiles shoved Blood backward and Blood recoiled with a head kick. Stiles saw the kick coming, however, and ducked while pulling King forward. King took the head kick and fell to the mat unconscious. Stiles quickly locked on a sleeper hold. The referee checked King, confirmed she was out cold, and called for the bell. Cate Stiles emerged victorious over Kami King as Tracy Blood was mortified by the result of her actions.

The MoW Team Championship was on the line in a Triple Threat Tag Match under Tornado rules. This match was a brawl from the start with each team looking to show dominance. An alliance was eventually formed between Malone/Anderson and Southern Aggression’s John Austin Baker and Terry Bombay. Aidan North was neutralized outside the ring and all four men beat down Pete Arrow. The alliance between challengers fell apart and both teams brawled. Malone tried for a pin on Baker but North had recovered and broke up the attempt with a frogsplash. North rallied a short comeback but with Arrow still slow to recover, the numbers came caught up with North. Despite his best efforts, Malone knocked him down with a knockout punch. Malone was nailed with a lariat by Bombay before he could cover North. Bombay was then leveled with a spinebuster by Anderson. Anderson then showed great ring awareness and caught an ambushing Baker with another spinebuster. Anderson covered Baker and won the match. Marty Anderson and Killer Malone became the new MoW Team Champions.

Jax Rivers stood in the ring and waited while the fans chanted loudly in anticipation for Tex. Tex burst into the arena riding a motorcycle and parked it at ringside. Tex looked touched to be acknowledged warmly by the audience. Rivers looked unimpressed but that changed after the bell when Tex quickly got the better of him. Rivers could not get much offense on Tex and kept leaving the ring in frustration. Tex grew impatient and followed Rivers outside the ring, attempting to throw him back in. Rivers kneed Tex in the gut and proceeded to toss the hardcore legend into his own bike, which fell over on him. Rivers viciously struck the pinned down Tex. Tex was able to free himself but the damage was done. Rivers was relentless in his attacks and ultimately dropped Tex with a flapjack and covered for a victory.

Brutality reached new limits when Dr. Insidious and Cole Arcane met in a Steel Cage Weapons Match. The rules were simple. The match could only be won by pinfall or submission. The ring was littered with weapons, as was the steel cage walls. Both men used steel chairs, kendo sticks, garbage cans, mops, wrenches, and, humorously, even a metal kitchen sink. Dr. Insidious ripped Arcane’s head open by dragging it across the cage wall. With blood dripping into Arcane’s eyes, he found himself blinded. Dr. Insidious suplexed Arcane onto several chairs but instead of going for a pin, he instead took a wrench and tore at one of the turnbuckles. Insidious detached a ring rope and whipped Arcane with it before using it to choke Arcane. Arcane started to pass out but felt around and found a hammer within grasp. Arcane swung the hammer into Dr. Insidious’ face. Blood squirted out of Dr. Insidious’ mask as he fell backward. Arcane recovered, but somehow, so did Insidious, and the two brawled all around the ring. Arcane used a running bulldog, driving Dr. Insidious into the kitchen sink. Arcane then climbed a turnbuckle with a chair in hand and drove the chair into Insidious. Not finished, Arcane used a piledriver onto a crumpled metal trash can and went for a pin. Insidious lay motionless and Cole Arcane was awarded a definitive victory in this long running feud.

Cole Arcane celebrated in the ring as the steel cage was lifted. As he celebrated, his music was cut off and different music began to play. Fraust had arrived and made his way to the ring. Fraust entered the ring and measured the wounded and bloodied Arcane. Fraust smirked and began a slow clap as Arcane watched him, confused. Fraust gave Arcane a grim smile, said something to him, and then walked backstage.

Mark Blood and Dan Masters met in a highly competitive match. Both men challenged each other as they tried to continually raise the bar. The competitive challenge got more aggressive and the match got harder hitting. Masters and Blood traded some near falls and submissions. Following a late match rally, Blood used a tombstone piledriver on Masters and pinned him for the win. After the match, Masters bowed in a show of respect to Masters. Blood returned the favor.

Maria Estrella put her MoW Championship on the line against Aurora Starkey. Shortly after the bell rang, Lucia Mendez arrived at ringside and kept an eye out for interference from Claudia Winter. Starkey put up a strong fight in her quest to regain the MoW Championship, keeping Estrella on the defensive in the early stages of the match. Estrella made a big comeback but seemed distracted by Mendez’s presence on the outside. This gave Starkey an opportunity for a comeback of her own. It was not enough to keep the champion down, however, as Estrella was able to overpower Starkey. Estrella used the running powerslam and then pinned Starkey to retain the MoW Championship. After the bell, Starkey nodded in approval to Estrella, who was clutching the Mow Championship belt to her chest, before leaving. Lucia Mendez stepped into the ring and confronted Estrella. The two had a brief discussion and appeared to mend fences. They embraced and Mendez held Estrella’s arm up, inviting the audience to cheer. The feel-good moment ended in a heartbeat when Mendez pulled Estrella toward her and suplexed the champion. Mendez quickly grabbed the MoW Championship belt, took aim, and blasted Estrella in the head with it. Mendez stared at her now-former friend laying on the mat. She threw the belt at Estrella and left the ring. There, in the aisle, Mendez was greeted by Claudia Winter and Andre Jordan, who welcomed her into their fold. Mendez, Winter, and Jordan looked toward the ring together before turning and leaving for the backstage area.

The main event was a brutal confrontation with Johnny Young challenging Snarl for the MoW Championship. Both men showed off their strength early on, manhandling each other with slams and throws. Young, who took a violent fall out of the ring at the previous show, felt the effects early on and Snarl used his weakened state to build some serious momentum. Young is in a bad way throughout the match but refuses to give up, kicking out of Snarl’s pin attempts. The fight was not one sided forever. Young dodged Snarl’s shoulder block. The champion bounced off the turnbuckle and Young showed quickness in a counter strike. Young gorilla pressed Snarl over the ropes, sending him to the floor. Snarl looked hurt and Young was relentless in capitalizing. The action went back in the ring and Young used his classic Slam of the Night on the champion. Young covered Snarl but Snarl somehow kicked out. Young tried to keep Snarl down, but the venerable champion continued to fight back. Snarl blocked a powerbomb attempt and turned it into a back-body drop. Snarl followed up with a powerbomb of his own and pinned Young to win the match. Snarl successfully defending the MoW Championship but was in no condition to celebrate. Neither Snarl nor Young were moving after the bell. Young eventually got to his feet and stood on shaky legs against the turnbuckle. He watched as Snarl lay in the center of the ring, unable to get up. Young stepped out of the ring and left. The referee and medical staff checked on Snarl as the show ended.
