MoW #019 Results

We sift through the carnage of The Battle in Seattle and have discussions with wrestlers in the MoW studios in this special episode.

Johnny Young was at a gym bench pressing. He finished, sat up, and looked at the camera. Young expressed disappointment that he was unable to defeat Snarl. Young said he fought some tough competitors over the years, but Snarl may be the toughest he had ever been in the right with. Young smirked and said he lost, but he is the one that walked out of the ring after the match, not Snarl. Young suggested that Snarl may not feel like a winner and if he does not feel like a winner, then maybe they should meet once more. Young challenged Snarl to a rematch for the MoW Championship in a Last Man Standing match.

Claudia Winter stood in front of a MoW interview set with Lucia Mendez at her side. Winter explained that Maria Estrella made a big mistake by refusing her services, but it was ok because this opened a spot for a better client. Winter placed her hands on Mendez’s shoulders and grinned at the camera. Mendez looked into the camera and reminded everyone that she competed in the first women’s match in MoW history. She saw a bright future for herself but buddying up with Estrella was a huge mistake. As time went on, Estrella pushed Mendez further into the background. Mendez said she is tired of being overshadowed. She was back in the spotlight and made it clear that she was coming for Estrella’s MoW Championship.

Cole Arcane sat with Larry Loudmouth for an interview. Loudmouth congratulated Arcane on his win over Dr. Insidious. Arcane said it was a tough fight but Dr. Insidious was finally defeated. Loudmouth asked Arcane about the elephant in the room, the arrival of Fraust. Arcane said that Fraust was his favorite wrestling growing up. He had no idea why Fraust appeared at The Battle in Seattle but wanted an answer because he knows Fraust did not show up without a reason.

Former MoW Team Champions, The Navigators, are standing outside of a television control room. Aidan North said that he and Pete Arrow willingly put their titles on the line against two other teams and while they were confident, they came up short. North said the night did not go the way they wanted but it was only one night. They have a rematch against new champions Marty Anderson and Killer Malone at the next show and plan to take the titles back. Arrow told Anderson and Malone to be ready because The Navigators are still the best team in the business, and they will soon find out why.

Tracy Blood was walking down a hallway when her phone rings. Blood looked at the phone for a moment and then answered. Blood said hello to the person on the other end of the call, Kami King. Blood asked King how she was feeling. Blood listened and asked if King was coming to the studio because she wanted to discuss things with her in person. Blood listened again and then looked surprised. She said she did not want to fight. Blood wants to talk it out. After listening a moment longer, Blood looked at the phone, put it in her pocket, and took a deep breath.

Larry Loudmouth sat with Aurora Starkey for an interview. Loudmouth recapped Starkey’s match with MoW Champion Maria Estrella and asked what was next for her. Starkey said that the match did not go her way and she found herself back at the bottom of the hill. Starkey remarked that fighting to get to the top of the hill is what she has always done and will be right back up to regain the MoW Championship. A door opened off camera and Cate Stiles stepped in. Stiles said she was listening and had to set things straight. Starkey had her chance, failed, and was back where she belonged. Stiles said she was done playing around at the bottom of the hill. Stiles said it was time for her to become MoW Champion. Starkey said Stiles would have to go through her first if she wanted a title shot. Stiles shrugged and invited Starkey to meet her in the ring.

Cole Arcane was seen leaving the MoW studio when a car pulled up in the parking lot. Arcane watched as Fraust stepped out of the car. Arcane looked guarded. Fraust said he was impressed by Arcane and thought there could be a big future for him. Fraust said he wanted to help as he approached Arcane. Fraust said Arcane may be one of the toughest wrestlers in the world, but he needed to know for sure. Fraust attacked. Arcane fought off Fraust momentarily but Fraust overcame him with a tire iron that was hidden in his leather jacket. Fraust brutally beat Arcane with the tire iron. Fraust dragged Arcane to the car and slammed his torso in a car door several times. Fraust pulled a sledgehammer out of the back seat and hit Arcane in the chest with it several times. Fraust casually fled the scene as Arcane was left on the pavement coughing up blood.
