MoW #025 Results

Masters of Wrestling brings its brand of wrestling action to Pensacola, FL.

Mark Blood and Aidan North faced each other in singles action. Both men shook hands in a show of respect for the bell. The match was fast paced with Blood having to work fast to keep up with North. After a rough start, Blood began to build momentum. Blood ran off the ropes but fell backward when Andre Jordan, who had snuck down to ringside, pulled the top rope down. Jordan attacked a stunned Blood on the outside as the referee called for the bell to end the match. Jordan was chased off by North. North helped Blood to his feet.

Maria Estrella barged into Cate Stiles and Jax Rivers’ dressing room. Rivers demanded Estrella leave but Stiles waved him off. Estrella said they now have a common enemy and while they have unfinished business between each other, they should make sure nobody gets in the way. Stiles asked what Estrella was getting at and Estrella asked Stiles to join her in a tag team match later in the night against Lucia Mendez and Claudia Winter. Stiles considered and accepted.

Vance McElroy climbed into the ring for a match but was attacked by Fraust, who had slipped into the ring from the crowd. Fraust asked where Cole Arcane was. He said he knows that Arcane must have gotten his message at the last show. Fraust called Arcane a coward and a fraud before telling Arcane he will be back to hurt more people until Arcane shows himself.

A video package played showing an old farmhouse. There is a bonfire in the backyard where John Austin Baker, Terry Bombay, and Bobby Bombay sit drinking beer. Bobby Bombay looked at the camera and said that Southern Aggression was now even stronger. He said Balance and Ridge would be wise to step aside because his brother and Baker are coming for the MoW Team Championships and are tired of people getting in their way. Terry Bombay slaps Baker on the shoulder and warned Killer Malone and Marty Anderson that their time as champions was over. Baker stood up with an axe in hand and walked toward the camera. He warned that the fight will be short, ugly, and will leave a lasting mark on Malone and Anderson forever. Baker swung the axe at the camera and shattered it.

Tracy Blood was walking around backstage and was attacked by Shannon Worth. Worth screamed that Blood cost her an opportunity to become number one contender because she got a concussion. Worth stomped on Blood’s arm cast before slamming it in a door. Worth left Blood lying on the floor writhing in pain.

Larry Loudmouth introduced MoW Champion Snarl, who came to the ring for an interview. Loudmouth asked Snarl about his next challenger, Pete Arrow. Snarl said he heard Arrow talk a big talk. He knows Arrow has won championships all over the world, but never alone. Only in tag teams. Snarl believes he will get a good fight out of Arrow but can see in Arrow’s eyes that he does not know the danger he is truly in. Pete Arrow came down to the ring. He said Snarl’s biggest flaw is his overconfidence. Arrow said he knows how to defeat Snarl and told the champion that if it takes a complete dismantling of the Snarl to become MoW Champion, then he will do what he must. Snarl laughed and said Arrow should become a comedian after he is left ruined following their match. Snarl went to leave but then tried to sucker punch Arrow. Arrow blocked the punch, hit back with a few of his own, and clotheslined Snarl over the top rope. Snarl looked stunned as Arrow shook the ropes and taunted Snarl to get back into the ring.

The main event saw MoW Champion Maria Estrella and number one contender Cate Stiles in a tag team match against Lucia Mendez and Claudia Winter. Stiles and Estrella did not get along during the match, giving Mendez and Winter many opportunities to get the upper hand. Estrella was isolated from Stiles as the match rolled on. Winter locked Estrella in a leg scissor sleeper but Estrella powered out of it and made a strong comeback. Estrella tagged in Stiles who viciously attacked Winter, preventing her from tagging in Mendez. Stiles used the ankle lock on Winter. Mendez tried to interfere but was hit by Estrella with a spear instead. Winter tapped out and Stiles and Estrella won the match. Mendez dragged a hobbling Winter away from the ring as Estrella and Stiles celebrated their win separately. Estrella, with the MoW Championship draped over her shoulder, extend a handshake to Stiles. Stiles slapped her hand away and pointed to the title belt. Both women shared a tense moment before Stiles left, shoulder checking Estrella on her way past.
