Hard lessons were learned when Masters of Wrestling dropped in to State College, PA.

Shannon Worth and Meghan DeWitt kicked things off in a singles match. Worth attacked DeWitt at the last show, ending their friendship. DeWitt looked upset from the start of the match but let out her frustrations on Worth. Worth made some headway in the match and after wearing down DeWitt, she climbed the turnbuckle and looked ready to strike from above. DeWitt saw her and bounced off the ropes, causing Worth to tumble hard to the mat, appearing to injure her shoulder. DeWitt looked on with concern as the referee checked on Worth. DeWitt approached and knelt down to check on Worth. Worth, feigning the injury, blasted DeWitt in the face with a headbutt. DeWitt’s nose sprayed blood as she stumbled back. Worth finished DeWitt with a spinning elbow before pinning her for the victory.

John Austin Baker was prowling the backstage hallways to find The Bomb Squad. He opened a door and saw a figure standing in the middle of a darkened room. Baker turned on the lights to find Dr. Insidious standing there like a statue. Baker looked confused and unsettled before leaving to continue his search. Dr. Insidious opened his eyes.

Kami King and Witchmere squared off in the ring. MoW Champion Cate Stiles walked down to ringside and pulled up a chair to watch the match up close. Witchmere tossed King out of the ring and followed her in pursuit. King fought off Witchmere and then confronted a heckling Stiles. Stiles continued to taunt King and dared King to hit her. King turned away but suddenly spun back and blasted the champion with a super kick that knocked her off the chair. The distraction was enough for Witchmere to capitalize and continue to attack King. The match continued in the ring while Stiles recovered outside on the floor. Stiles hid next to the ring apron and when King went to bounce off the ropes, Stiles swung the MoW Championship belt up and cracked King in the back. The referee did not see the shot but Witchmere did and immediately followed up with a fisherman buster on King. Witchmere pinned King for the win.

Fraust worked his way through the crowd and climbed into the ring. Fraust told the audience he was just as unhappy about the outcome to his match with Cole Arcane as everyone else was. He was disappointed in the officials for stopping it and disappointed in Arcane for not being able to continue. Fraust said he wanted to make it right and asked MoW for a rematch only to find out Arcane is not cleared to compete. Fraust questioned if Arcane is just in hiding.

MoW Team Champions Killer Malone and Marty Anderson were backstage and came across The Navigators. Malone said he forgot The Navigators were still around. Aidan North said they never left, and they’ve been watching closely. Pete Arrow nodded to the title belt over Anderson’s shoulder and said it is a nice belt. North asked if Malone and Anderson were fighting champions. Anderson rolled his eyes and said North knows they are and if they want a match, they have got it. North said he and Arrow look forward to it.

Larry Loudmouth welcomed Mark Blood to the ring. Loudmouth commented how MoW Champion Snarl has gotten under Blood’s skin. Blood said that Snarl does not intimidate him. Snarl’s lack of respect for MoW’s heroes will not be tolerated and said that Snarl is unworthy of being the company’s champion. Blood then warned Snarl that he was coming for the MoW Championship so it could come home to someone who will treat the legacy of MoW with respect. This brought out MoW legend, The Rebel. The Rebel told Blood that no amount of heart and passion could stop Snarl if he was not truly prepared for a war. The Rebel then offered to help Blood defeat Snarl but said they will have some work to do first. Blood accepted The Rebel’s offer with a handshake.

The main event featured Aurora Starkey battling Lucia Mendez. Starkey was joined at ringside by Maria Estrella while Mendez had Claudia Winter in her corner. Winter and Estrella traded verbal barbs outside the ring while Starkey and Mendez had a hard-hitting match inside. Starkey overpowered Mendez but Mendez countered a suplex and shockingly twisted Starkey’s arm into a half Nelson. Mendez continued to wear down Starkey. Late the match, Starkey made a huge comeback. Sensing her client was in trouble, Winter climbed the ring apron to cause a distraction. Estrella yanked Winter off the apron. Starkey drove Mendez to the mat with a powerbomb and covered for a pin. Starkey won the match and was joined in the ring by Estrella to celebrate the victory.
