MoW #030 Results

It is chaos in the capital as Masters of Wrestling comes to Washington D.C.

John Austin Baker and Burton Sykes Jr. opened the show in singles action. Baker came out strong from the bell and kept the stronger Sykes on the defensive. Sykes got in some offense of his own after catching Baker with a powerslam, but it was not long before Baker fought back, floored Sykes with a lariat, and covered for the win. As Baker celebrated, the lights went off. When they came back on, Baker looked around before noticing that Sykes, still out cold on the mat, was now wearing a Dr. Insidious mask. Baker pulled the mask off and looked at it, confused.

MoW Champion Cate Stiles was seen backstage with her husband, Jax Rivers. They were discussing how Stiles has dominated MoW and no one has stepped up as a clear contender for her title. Witchmere showed up and said they should reconsider that thought because she looked dominant at the last show when she defeated Kami King. Stiles scoffed and said Witchmere probably would not have won if it was not for Stiles providing an assist. King appeared and suggested that she and Witchmere should compete one more time to determine who really should be next in line for the MoW Championship. Stiles got angry and Rivers said King cannot just put together matches. Larry Loudmouth stepped into the conversation while holding a hand up to his earpiece. Loudmouth said management just told him they love the idea and it will be the main event of the next show. Stiles stormed off as Witchmere and King glared at each other.

Shannon Worth faced off against Mysterie. The match was a back and forth battle that highlighted Worth’s hard-hitting strikes and Mysterie’s high flying offense. Mysterie tried for a hurricanrana but Worth countered it into a powerbomb. Mysterie managed to get to her feet but was knocked right back down with a spinning back elbow. Worth covered for the pin and won the match.

Worth celebrated her win and was joined by Larry Loudmouth for an interview. Loudmouth asked Worth why she dumped her friend, Meghan DeWitt. Worth said that DeWitt was no friend, but merely dead weight and she was glad to be done with her. Worth said she came to MoW to be a champion and now she is free to do that.

Mark Blood was shown training with The Rebel. The Rebel recruited three huge wrestlers who stood across from Blood in the ring. The Rebel said that defeating MoW Champion Snarl is only possible if Blood can continue to fight even when beaten down to his absolute limits. The three wrestlers beat Blood mercilessly. Blood struggled but got to his feet. Two of the three huge wrestlers stepped out of the ring, leaving one with Blood. The Rebel said now the match can begin and rang a bell.

Maria Estrella and Aurora Starkey are walking through the arena parking lot. Estrella said that she and Starkey have had a rough past, but they have a common enemy in Lucia Mendez and Claudia Winter. Starkey said she and Estrella are on the same page now and they are looking to set things straight. Estrella said they want a no holds barred tag match with Mendez and Winter. It could be in the ring, out there in the parking lot, or out on the streets. Starkey said no matter the location, Mendez and Winter will be left battered and bloody. Estrella said it will be MoW old school.

The Bomb Squad came down to the ring and grabbed microphones. They said they were annoyed that The Navigators cut in line for a MoW Team Championship match when they should be the top contenders. They demanded The Navigators come out and put their title match on the line. “Badlands” Bill Stanton came out instead and said that The Bomb Squad sound like they want a fight, so he is going to bring them one. The Bomb Squad looked confused before Stanton said he has a new partner. Veteran wrestler The Convict joined Stanton in the aisle, and they walked down to the ring together.

Stanton and The Convict faced The Bomb Squad in a tag team match that quickly turned into a brawl. Despite many efforts to bring order to the match, the referee called for the bell, ending the match in a no contest. The fight continued, however, as both teams threw fists, swung chairs, and spilled their war into the crowd before being broken apart by security.

While the commotion in the audience was settling, Fraust came through the crowd and jumped into the ring. Fraust said he received a message saying Cole Arcane wanted him here and questioned where Arcane was. Larry Loudmouth stepped into the ring and reminded Fraust that Arcane has not been medically cleared to compete and wasn’t in the building. Fraust grabbed Loudmouth by the collar and said she was told otherwise before demanding that Arcane show himself. Arcane then appeared on the big screen and was standing in front of an old, dilapidated ring. Arcane told Fraust that MoW will not let him compete in their ring, so he found another one. Arcane stepped back and asked Fraust if he was feeling nostalgic. Arcane said he found the building where WFW, the promotion Fraust started his career in, held their shows. Arcane said MoW will not sanction a wrestling match. Instead, Arcane challenged Fraust to a fight. Arcane told Fraust he knows where to find him, and he will be waiting. Fraust looked stunned but a smile began to creep over his face and he quickly left back through the crowd.
