New York, NY was home to the last stop before the Vicious Consequences supershow.
“Badlands” Bill Stanton and The Convict battled Balance and Ridge in the opening match. Stanton and The Convict, MoW Team Champion number one contenders came out strong early on, but Ridge fought back. Balance and Ridge got the upper hand on the number one contenders and Balance appeared to have Stanton down for the count. The Convict pulled the referee out of the ring before he could count Stanton’s shoulders to the mat. The referee reprimanded The Convict on the outside and threatened a disqualification. Balance watched from inside the ring. Meanwhile, Stanton, seemingly unaware of what was going on, saw an opportunity to roll up Balance for a pin just as the referee slid back into the ring. Stanton picked up the pinfall win for he and The Convict. After Stanton and The Convict were declared the winners, MoW Team Champions Marty Anderson and Killer Malone came out to the aisle. Anderson said that he and Malone now know for sure that they will need to watch their backs and refuse to lose their titles to cheaters. Stanton looked to The Convict for an explanation and seemed upset.
Shannon Worth found Meghan DeWitt and confronted her. Worth said her loss to Yurei was a fluke and she has a rematch coming up. Worth told DeWitt she was not invited to ringside.
A video played showing an open field on a ranch. John Austin Baker walked into view and called out Dr. Insidious. Baker said Dr. Insidious likes to cause pain and fear in other people, but he is not very smart because he does not know when he steps over the line. Baker said Insidious has gone way over the line. Baker explained that cattle do not always understand boundaries either, but ranches have a fix for that. The camera zoomed out and showed an electric fence in front of Baker. Baker said Insidious likes playing with electricity, so he had an idea. Baker challenged Dr. Insidious to an Electric Fence Match at Vicious Consequences. The ring ropes will be replaced with electric fencing. Baker invited Dr. Insidious to step over the line again because he will be jolted back into place.
Shannon Worth competed in a rematch against Yurei. Unlike their last meeting, Worth put up a good fight against Yurei. Worth had a few near falls on Yurei but found herself on the defensive after a vicious dragon suplex. Yurei wore down Worth and ran at her for a spear but Worth dodged. Worth tried for a spinning elbow but Yurei dodged, ran off the ropes, and rebounded with a spear on Worth. Yurei covered for a pin and won the match. Backstage, Meghan DeWitt looked amused as she watched on a monitor.
Claudia Winter was backstage wearing a neck brace and a bandage on her forehead. Winter questioned Lucia Mendez on why she did not protect her in their street fight against Maria Estrella and Aurora Starkey. Mendez said the fight got out of hand quickly and there was no way she could have helped. Winter said it was no excuse and considered no longer representing Mendez but then said she can make up for this by defeating Aurora Starkey in the evening’s main event and then defeating Maria Estrella at Vicious Consequences.
Larry Loudmouth invited Kami King and Cate Stiles to the ring to meet face-to-face before their matchup at Vicious Consequences. King appeared first and told everyone that she understood how big the opportunity in front of her was, but she has never been more ready. King said she is laser focused and ready for Cate Stiles. This brought out Cate Stiles, who was came to the ring on crutches with a concerned Jax Rivers at her side. Stiles got into the ring and said King injured her ankle and she will not be able to compete and defend the MoW Championship at Vicious Consequences. Stiles said King only has herself to blame for missing her great opportunity for the MoW Championship. Loudmouth said the MoW rules state that if Stiles cannot defend the title in a scheduled match, she must forfeit the title. Rivers became angry and said it was not her fault she was hurt, and that ruling was an injustice. Rivers and King began to argue. Stiles dropped a crutch and stood on her bad ankle, showing she was faking. Stiles tried to swing the other crutch at the distracted King. King noticed the attack at the last moment, ducked, and hit Stiles with a superkick. Stiles stumbled back against the ropes and was hit with a second superkick. Rivers looked stunned and then reached for King but was himself hit with a superkick. King stood tall in the ring and held up the MoW Championship belt.
Lucia Mendez came down to the ring, alone, to face Aurora Starkey in the main event match. After an early back and forth, Starkey began to wear down Mendez. Starkey displayed some impressive power moves throughout the match and went for a powerbomb, but Mendez slipped free and made a strong offensive comeback. Mendez focused her attack on Starkey’s arm, limiting her power moves. Starkey made a late match comeback, but Mendez locked her in a triangle hold, forcing Starkey into submission. Mendez picked up the victory, setting her sights on Maria Estrella at Vicious Consequences.
Larry Loudmouth welcomed The Rebel and Mark Blood to the ring. Blood looked to be in the best shape of his career. Loudmouth asked Blood about the training regimen The Rebel has put him through. Blood said it has been grueling but built his confidence, strength, agility, and stamina. Blood said he believes he can defeat Snarl and become MoW Champion. The Rebel said Blood has always had his heart set on being champion. His family heritage is synonymous with MoW and now is the time for him to continue the legacy his father started in MoW in 1993. Loudmouth invited MoW Champion Snarl to join them in the ring and meet with Blood one last time before Vicious Consequences. Snarl did not appear. The Rebel said that Snarl is not one for talking and may be saving his response for the upcoming match. The Rebel said that was fine but promised that Blood’s message to Snarl will be even louder when the bell rings. Blood and The Rebel left the ring but kept an eye out for Snarl. Blood walked through the curtain to the backstage area and was immediately speared back out into the arena by Snarl. Snarl attacked The Rebel, neutralizing him with a powerbomb in the aisle. Snarl brutalized Blood by the entrance stage but Blood kept getting up. Snarl continued his assault, ultimately spearing Blood through some production containers and knocking over a part of the stage set on him. Snarl yelled at Blood to get up from that, but Blood was motionless underneath the wreckage.
