Masters of Wrestling begins a tour of Texas, starting with Vicious Consequences in Dallas!
The show started with Lucia Mendez facing Maria Estrella. Mendez needed to defeat Estrella in order to retain the services of her manager, Claudia Winter. Mendez fought hard from the moment the bell rang. Estrella was on the defensive for the opening minutes of the match while Mendez wore down her back and arms. Mendez went for a cross body, but Estrella caught her and drove her down with a backbreaker. Estrella began a strong comeback that sent Mendez out of the ring for a breather. Estrella followed and dragged Mendez back through the ropes. Estrella looked to have the match almost won but Mendez rolled up Estrella with a schoolboy pin and managed to keep her shoulders to the mat for the surprise victory. Mendez was awarded the win while Estrella shook her head in shock and disappointment.
The MoW Team Championship was on the line as “Badlands” Bill Stanton and The Convict looked to capture the titles from Killer Malone and Marty Anderson. Anderson squared off with Stanton to start the match but made it a point to shoot a word of warning to The Convict not to try cheating. Anderson started strong against Stanton and was aggressive in trying to pin him quick and early. Stanton showed a lot of fire and made a comeback before tagging in The Convict. The Convict brawled with Anderson and later Malone before tagging Stanton back in. Malone clotheslined Stanton over the ropes to the floor. All four men clashed outside the ring, but the momentum swung toward the champions when Stanton was crushed to the floor with a spinebuster from Anderson. The Convict was driven through the announcer’s table by both Anderson and Malone. The match resumed in the ring with Stanton holding his own while The Convict slowly recovered on the outside. Stanton hit Anderson with a spear and tried for a pin, but it was broken up by Malone. Malone got in a few shots on Stanton before the referee ordered him back to his corner. With the referee’s attention on regaining order in the ring, Stanton hit Anderson in the back of the head with a foreign object. Stanton covered for a pin as the referee turned around. Stanton picked up a win for his team making “Badlands” Bill Stanton and The Convict the new MoW Team Champions. Stanton and The Convict laughed and celebrated in the ring while Malone tended to his dazed partner on the outside.
The ring crew removed the ring ropes and replaced with metal wires, signaling the Electric Fence Match between John Austin Baker and Dr. Insidious was next. Both men came to the ring and looked around at the wires as the crew energized them. The bell rang prompting Baker and Insidious to lock up. Insidious began to push Baker toward the electrified wires but Baker pushed back. Insidious broke the back-and-forth struggle with a headbutt and began to wear down Baker. Insidious tried to whip Baker into the ropes but Baker dropped to his knees just before hitting the wires. Insidious ran toward Baker to push him into the wires but Baker dodged and Insidious bounced into the wires instead. Insidious convulsed as he fell backward to the mat. Baker tried for a pin but Insidious kicked out. The match continued with Baker capitalizing on the shocked Insidious. Insidious regained his energy and made a comeback. Baker reached for the ropes on instinct after a hard hit from Insidious and got a jolt. Insidious immediately tried for a suplex but Baker blocked it and reversed into a suplex of his own. Insidious bounced back first onto the top wire and fell out of the ring. Baker looked over the wires at Insidious but barely had a chance to react as Insidious pulled his feet, dragging Baker halfway out of the ring and then reaching between the bottom and middle wires for Baker’s wrists. Insidious yanked Baker forward, causing Baker’s chest to press against the wires. Insidious also took the electric shock but held out as long as he could before letting go. Both men lay motionless for a short time before Insidious recovered and slid under the bottom rope into the ring. Insidious stood, dragged Baker into the middle of the ring, and used a vicious snap DDT. Insidious covered for a pin and won the match.
The ring ropes were replaced as Meghan DeWitt came to the ring for her match against Shannon Worth. The former friends had a hard-hitting match from the start with Worth coming out the dominant aggressor. Worth struck DeWitt with hard strikes using her hands and feet while Worth looked for an opening to get in some offense of her own. Worth got cocky and played with DeWitt a little too long. Worth tried for spinning elbow, but DeWitt ducked and began to rebound. Worth missed a body splash in the corner, hitting the top turnbuckle. Worth stumbled backward and into the arms of DeWitt who locked her in a cobra clutch. Worth was forced into submission and Meghan DeWitt picked up a decisive victory.
Kami King came to the ring for her title opportunity against MoW Champion Cate Stiles. Stiles, joined by her husband, Jax Rivers, looked confident as she sized up King from across the ring. King limbered up while never taking her eyes off the champion. The match began slow with both women testing each other. Stiles took control and immediately began an aggressive attack on King’s right leg. Stiles used a series of shin breakers on King before going for an ankle lock. King quickly got to the ropes to break the hold but had trouble standing up and Stiles went right back on the attack. Stiles went for another ankle lock, but King squirmed out before Stiles could get a good grip. King attacked Stiles from the mat, going after the champion’s own legs. With Stiles down on the mat, King began a series of strikes before trying to put out Stiles with a sleeper hold. Stiles broke free but seemed unsure of where she was as she stumbled to her feet. She did not see that King had also recovered enough to stand. King blasted Stiles with a superkick that she was completely unprepared for. The champion crumpled to the mat while King, feeling the effects of the earlier damage to her leg, also fell. King crawled over to Stiles and covered for a pin but the time it took to crawl over was enough time for Stiles to recover. Stiles kicked out just before the three count. Jax Rivers let out a huge sigh of relief and began to start a one-man rally in support of Stiles. The crowd cheered on King. Both women struggled to stand up but eventually did and the match continued. Despite a final push by King to dethrone her longtime rival, it was Stiles who managed to take down the challenger and apply another ankle lock. King struggled and tried to find a way out but was forced to submit. Cate Stiles successfully defended her MoW Championship.
Mark Blood came to the ring accompanied by The Rebel for his title match against MoW Champion Snarl. Blood looked ready for the fight of his life and he got it when the bell rang. Snarl ran at Blood right at the start of the match and plowed through the challenger. Snarl dominated Blood with an intense barrage of power moves. Blood barely had a chance to breathe between each devastating slam. Snarl crushed Blood into the canvas with a powerbomb and covered for a pin. Blood managed to kick out and Snarl laughed before picking up Blood by the hair and continuing his attack. The Rebel tried to coach Blood from outside the ring, but Blood continued to take the vicious beatdown. Blood tried to stop Snarl’s momentum but found himself being lifted for another powerbomb. Blood managed to shift his weight and avoided the powerbomb, instead flipping Snarl with a hurricanrana. Blood realized there was no time to waste and began his own assault on Snarl. Snarl was clotheslined over the ropes to the outside and Blood joined him by diving into him through the ropes. Blood slammed Snarl into the steel steps and then smacked Snarl’s head into the ring post. Snarl was dazed but got to his feet. Blood rolled the champion back into the ring and continued his attack. Blood put Snarl in the Boston Crab, but Snarl managed to power out of the hold. Snarl caught Blood off guard and went for a second powerbomb. Snarl covered for another pin, but Blood barely kicked out. Snarl began to pummel Blood and mount a comeback. Snarl whipped Blood into a corner and went for a spear but Blood dodged, sending Snarl headfirst into the ring post once again. Snarl stood up on wobbly legs as blood poured from his forehead. Blood scooped up Snarl and drove him headfirst to the mat with a tombstone piledriver. Blood covered for the pin. Snarl was motionless as the referee’s hand hit the mat for the count of three. Mark Blood was declared the winner and became the new MoW Champion.
Mark Blood and The Rebel celebrated in the ring while the referee raised Blood’s hand and awarded him the MoW Championship belt. As Blood held the title high over his head, he turned just in time to see The Rebel get hit in the back of the head by a flying steel chair. The Rebel fell to the mat. Blood looked confused for a moment and then turned behind him to see Rex Anarchy, NRWL and RFW veteran, standing there. Anarchy climbed into the ring and stared down the new champion. Blood was furious as Anarchy signaled that he wanted the MoW Championship before leaving the ring. Blood tended to The Rebel as medical personnel arrived.
