Masters of Wrestling visited San Antonio, TX for the last stop before the Lonestar Stampede supershow!

The show opened with MoW Champion Cate Stiles and her husband Jax Rivers in a luxurious hotel room, wearing bathrobes. Stiles said the massages, fancy dinner, and hot tub soak were just what she needed. Rivers said he only wants the best for his beautiful wife. Stiles said she did not want to give Aurora Starkey the satisfaction of being in the presence of greatness until Lonestar Stampede and told Rivers they would not be going to the arena for the evening’s show. Rivers said he will order some champagne from room service. Aurora Starkey was watching all of that on a backstage monitor at the arena. Starkey smiled and walked away.

The Navigators came down to the ring and issued a challenge to MoW Team Champions “Badlands” Bill Stanton and The Convict. Marty Anderson and Killer Malone came out instead and said if anyone deserved a title shot, it should be them. Both teams argued until Larry Loudmouth stepped into the ring and announced that MoW management has approved for both teams to meet in the ring to decide who will challenge for the titles at Lonestar Stampede.

Marty Anderson and Killer Malone fought The Navigators in a hard-hitting match that highlighted just how badly both teams wanted the title shot. Anderson and Malone made quick tags as they separated Aidan North from Pete Arrow. North turned Anderson’s spinebuster attempt into a DDT and used the opportunity to take in the red-hot Arrow. Arrow cleaned house and brought The Navigators back into the fight. Arrow slammed Malone with a powerbomb and pinned him for the victory. The Navigators barely had time to celebrate their win before the MoW Team Champions, “Badlands” Bill Stanton and The Convict attacked him. Anderson and Malone made the save for The Navigators and chased off the champions.

Kami King was backstage grabbing an apple in catering when she heard something rustling behind a tarped off area. King cautiously looked behind the tarp but saw nothing. King let out a sigh of relief but turned around to find Dr. Insidious standing behind her. King tried to distance herself but Insidious pursued. John Austin Baker burst onto the scene and attacked Insidious. Both men brawled until Insidious shoved Baker through a doorway. Insidious attempted to follow but was hit with a superkick by King. King helped Baker to his feet and when they turned around to check on Insidious, he was gone.

Back at the hotel, Rivers was massaging Stiles’s shoulders as she lay against him on a couch. Stiles was irritated that the champagne had not yet arrived. Rivers grumbled that he paid a fortune for the room and the slow service was unacceptable.

Meghan DeWitt was scheduled to face Shannon Worth in singles competition. DeWitt waited in the ring for Worth but was surprised when Claudia Winter came to ringside instead. Winter said she was now representing Worth and described her as someone who was going to be skyrocketing to the top of MoW. Worth joined Winter at ringside and the two shook hands before Worth climbed into the ring. Worth and DeWitt, no strangers, hit one another hard and fast. Worth had the advantage and tried for a few pinfalls but each time DeWitt kicked out. DeWitt turned the momentum of the match and managed to get Worth locked in a triangle hold. Winter grabbed Worth’s foot from outside the ring and placed it over the bottom rope. The referee saw Worth’s foot on the rope and called for the hold to be broken. The match continued but a spinning elbow from Worth took DeWitt down. Worth covered for the win. After the match, Winter told Worth to make an example of DeWitt. Worth went to attack DeWitt but Yurei ran down to the ring to chase off Worth and Winter.

Cole Arcane came down to the ring and said that Snarl wanted his attention and has it. Arcane wanted to know why Snarl attacked him. Snarl came out and said that when he heard Arcane referred to as one of the toughest men in wrestling, it made him sick. Snarl said he wants to tear Arcane apart. Arcane welcomed the challenged and wasted no time attacking Snarl. After a short brawl, Arcane tried to bulldog Snarl but Snarl threw Arcane off him. Snarl then began a brutal attack on Arcane, culminating with a powerbomb to Arcane over the ropes to the floor.

Larry Loudmouth invited MoW Champion Mark Blood and RFW Titan Champion Rex Anarchy to the ring. Loudmouth explained that both men will meet in a Champion vs. Champion match at Lonestar Stampede and the winner will walk away with both titles. Loudmouth asked both men their thoughts going into the match. Blood said he was standing up for MoW, the MoW Championship, and its legacy. Anarchy said that Rapid Fire Wrestling was important, and it was shut down in favor of MoW, a nostalgia act. Anarchy said he arrived in MoW to right a wrong by proving RFW was superior. Blood said Anarchy was a liar and just wanted to stir the pot like he always does. Anarchy said Blood was just insecure and could not make a name for himself in New Revolution Wrestling League where Anarchy was the champion. Anarchy said Blood could not get to the top of RFW while Anarchy was champion. Anarchy said he will prove yet again that Blood was inferior in a world that Rex Anarchy exists in. Blood promised that Anarchy was in for a rude awakening because Blood has proven he has only gotten better while looking forward while someone like Anarchy cannot help but look back at former glory. Anarchy told Blood to cherish his time with the MoW Championship because that time will be short.

Back at the hotel, Rivers responded to a knock at the door from room service. Rivers opened the door and Aurora Starkey was standing there with a champagne bottle in hand, ready to strike. Rivers never looked at her and angrily told her to put the champagne on the table. Starkey asked if he would like the champagne poured for him and his wife. Rivers said yes and that was the least she could do for being so late. Starkey asked if he wanted to check the bottle to make sure it was up to his standards. Rivers turned to look and realized it was Starkey as she smashed the bottle in his face, sending an explosion of glass and champagne everywhere. Stiles came out of the bedroom to see what was going on and was speared by Starkey. Both women rolled around on the floor brawling. Starkey smashed Stiles through the shower door and then sprayed her with water from the shower. Starkey dragged Stiles out to the main area of the hotel room and threw her over the couch, commenting that she could not wait until Lonestar Stampede to be in the presence of greatness. Starkey pulled Stiles up by the hair, but Stiles hit her with a low blow, then over the head with a vase. Stiles threw Starkey face first into a mirror, shattering it. Stiles looked at the balcony door, opened it, and dragged Starkey over to it. Stiles threw Starkey over the balcony and into the hotel pool below. Stiles straightened her bathrobe and looked down with disdain at Starkey, who was floating in the pool as hotel staff came to rescue her from the water.
