Masters of Wrestling came to Worchester, MA as tensions continued, mysteries unfolded, and strange alliances formed.
Snarl opened the show, coming to the ring looking for Cole Arcane. Snarl said that Arcane should have stayed down at Lonestar Stampede but instead he tried to make a name for himself after the bell. Snarl said that he would have ended Arcane for good if officials had not broken up their fight and called Arcane to the ring so he could finish the job.
Cole Arcane did come out to the ring, ready for a fight. The two wasted no time brawling around the ring and out to the floor. The fight moved down the aisle. Snarl got the upper hand and drove Arcane through the stage set. Officials ran out to check on Arcane. Snarl observed the scene before walking away.
Outside, the Rapid Fire Rebellion arrived. MoW Champion Rex Anarchy, carrying the RFW Titan Championship belt, was strategizing with Witchmere as they walked into the building. Anarchy said that they would continue to right the wrong that is the existence of MoW tonight.
Shannon Worth met Mysterie in singles competition. Worth had her manager, Claudia Winter, at ringside. Worth came out strong from the start. Mysterie began to build some offense late in the match but fell victim to Worth’s spinning elbow. Worth covered for a pin and the victory. After the bell, Winter grabbed a microphone and said she received word that Shannon Worth’s title opportunity against MoW Champion Aurora Starkey is scheduled for next week’s main event. Winter told everyone in attendance to buy a ticket for the show so they could say they were in the building when the Worth Era began.
Cole Arcane was backstage being attended to by medical staff when Larry Loudmouth came to ask him about his condition. Arcane laughed and waved off the medical staff. Arcane said Snarl could not take him down that easily. Arcane said he wanted to finish their fight the right way and got a Falls Count Anywhere match with Snarl approved for later in the show.
Kami King stormed into a locker room and found John Austin Baker. King asked him why he attacked Matt Griffin after their match. Baker said he and King need to be more aggressive and send a message to Dr. Insidious. King looked at Baker’s open gear bag and saw the Dr. Insidious mask. King looked horrified and ran out of the locker room. Baker just watched as she ran off.
MoW Team Champions “Badlands Bill Stanton and The Convict were backstage playing cards. Balance and Ridge showed up and wondered why the champions looked so relaxed with Marty Anderson and Killer Malone coming to take their titles. The Convict told them to mind their own business and that they were not worried about anybody. Balance said that they should be worried, because if Malone and Anderson do not get the job done, he and Ridge are coming for the titles. Stanton told Balance and Ridge to scram. Balance smirked before he and Ridge walked off. Stanton muttered something under his breath before laying his cards out. The Convict cheered and Stanton frowned as The Convict laid out a better hand.
Snarl was warming up for his upcoming match when Andre Jordan walked in. Snarl looked angry and ready to tear Jordan apart. Jordan calmed him down and said he just wanted to talk. Jordan pushed the camera crew out of the room and closed the door.
Larry Loudmouth invited MoW Champion Aurora Starkey to the ring. Loudmouth asked Starkey about her thoughts on Shannon Worth as a challenger and having Claudia Winter at ringside. Starkey began to respond when Rex Anarchy’s music began to play and he and Witchmere stormed the ring. Without warning, Witchmere attacked Starkey and Anarchy threw Loudmouth unceremoniously out of the ring. Witchmere brutally attacked Starkey until Mark and Tracy Blood rushed to the ring and chased off the Rapid Fire Rebellion. The Blood siblings checked on Starkey, who was holding her shoulder in pain. Backstage, Shannon Worth and Claudia Winter were watching on a monitor. Worth smiled as Starkey was shown favoring her injured shoulder.
Cole Arcane came to the ring to meet Snarl in a Falls Count Anywhere match. As Snarl made his way to the ring, Arcane ran out of the ring and clashed with Snarl in the aisle. The referee shrugged and called for the bell to start the match. The two brawlers traded fists before finding some of the wreckage for their earlier encounter. Arcane smashed a broken pipe over Snarl’s back before Snarl bodyslammed Arcane on a piece of plywood. Snarl tossed Arcane through the curtain going backstage.
The fight continued backstage where Arcane was tossed around like a rag doll. Arcane made a fiery comeback, dragging Snarl into a storage room and using mops, wrenches, and other tools as weapons. Snarl speared Arcane into a utility sink, snapping the pipes, and sending water shooting everywhere. Both wrestlers exited the storage room and continued to fight. Arcane got the upper hand and had Snarl in position for a running bulldog but was suddenly booted in the head by Andre Jordan. Jordan and Snarl, forming an alliance, began to double team Arcane. Arcane fought both off as best he could but he lost the numbers game. Snarl powerbombed Arcane onto the concrete floor and covered him for the pinfall victory.
