Paisley Alden vs. Yurei

Paisley Alden made her MoW debut against Yurei in the opening match. Alden ran straight for Yurei when the bell rang only be floored by the Japanese warrior. Yurei overpowered Alden and slammed her down to the mat repeatedly. Alden kicked out of several pin attempts, much to Yurei’s surprise. Yurei ran at Alden for a spear but Alden dodged and used the opening to fight back. Alden brawled with Yurei and was building momentum but Yurei belted the rookie with a double axe handle off the ropes. Yurei build a short comeback and pinned Alden following a spear. Yurei was declared the winner.

Kimberly Kennedy stood at ringside and caught up with Paisley Alden, asking Alden how she felt after a hard fought, but losing effort. Alden cheerily responded that it was not a loss, it was a rush, and she was looking forward to her next match.

The Wrong Way

MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson caught up with Maria Estrella backstage and informed her that Kami King challenged her a match. Johnson asked Estrella if she was ready. Estrella was surprised and explained that King was upset with her but felt settling things with a fight was no the right way to resolve their problems. John questioned if Estrella was telling him that she was refusing the match and Estrella said she was. Johnson seemed unhappy with her decision but respected it and agreed to drop the match.

Jessie Vega Speaks

Kimberly Kennedy introduced music star and wrestler Jessie Vega to the ring. Vega came down to the ring slapping hands with the audience on her way. Kennedy welcomed Vega to MoW and asked how it felt to be back in the ring. Vega was beaming and said she was thrilled to be in MoW. Vega said she has always loved wrestling and is excited for the next chapter of her career.

Vega was interrupted by Shannon Worth with Claudia Winter by her side. Worth said she was not a welcoming party and suggested that Vega should go back to her music because the wrestling world has moved on fine without her. Vega offered to show Worth how wrong she was and challenged her to a match right on the spot. Winter cut off Vega and said that her wrestler would not compete at the whim of a talentless singer. This brought out Tiger Johnson who said a Jessie Vega and Shannon Worth match sounded like a great main event, but since he already has a main event for the night, he will make it the main event for the following week in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Balance and Ridge vs. MoW Team Champions Killer Malone and Marty Anderson

The MoW Team Champions competed in a non-title match against the veteran team of Balance and Ridge. Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent were once again seated at their ringside dining table watching the action.

Both teams wanted to prove something. Balance and Ridge wanted to show the world that they were working together as a top tag team while Malone and Anderson looked to make a statement why they were the MoW Team Champions. Anderson found himself dazed after a DDT by Balance and a flurry of high flying attacks by Ridge. Ridge held his own within the ropes against Anderson, but the champion would not stay down. Anderson caught Ridge in midair and slammed him to the mat, giving Anderson an opportunity to tag in a fresh Malone.

Malone wore down Ridge, preventing him from using his aerial offense. Montgomery and Laurent laughed as Ridge took more punishment from Malone. Ridge blocked Malone’s suplex attempt and tried for a schoolboy pin. Malone kicked out but Ridge propelled himself to the corner to tag in Balance, who entered the ring with a flurry of attacks to Malone as well as Anderson. Balance hit a lifting DDT on Malone and covered but Anderson broke up the pin. Despite Balance’s momentum, Malone and Anderson were able to overtake him and gain momentum. Anderson planted Balance with a spinebuster and covered for a pin. Balance was unable to kick out and the MoW Team Champions picked up the win.

While Malone and Anderson celebrated, Balance and Ridge began to leave ringside. Montgomery and Laurent heckled Balance and Ridge from their table, prompting Balance and Ridge to confront them. Laurent splashed wine in Balance’s face, causing a brawl to break out between both teams that was quickly broken up by officials.

Forgotten

Aidan North was searching backstage for someone until he found her. Mysterie was sitting on some production equipment. Gone was her multicolored hair and Mardi Gras mask, replaced with black hair and a simple purple mask over her eyes. North asked Mysterie what she was doing with Grave and Giant Wraith at Rapid Fire Reunion, reminding her that he and Mysterie teamed up to fight them in RFW. Mysterie said she did not need reminding, North does, because after north left RFW, he never kept in touch and forgot about her, just like everyone else forgot her, and forgot about Grave and Giant Wraith. Before north could respond, he was grabbed from behind and slammed into a wall by Grave. Giant Wraith chokeslammed North through a table as Mysterie silently watched on.

Cate Stiles at Home Interview

Kimberly Kennedy sat down with MoW Champion Cate Stiles at the champion’s home in a prerecorded interview. Kennedy asked Stiles how it felt to be connected to MoW as a champion. Stiles said she was a little girl in the audience of a MoW show and knew then that she wanted to be a wrestler. Holding the MoW Championship is something she pretended to be in her bedroom with a championship belt she made herself. Stiles said that there were no women in the original MoW so to be the champion is something that once was unattainable. Stiles said being MoW Champion means everything to her and nobody will take it from her. Kennedy said that Tracy Blood is one woman looking to do just that. Stiles said Blood thinks too much of herself. She admitted that Blood defeated her at Rapid Fire Reunion but that was one night, and Blood hobbled off like a wounded animal. Stiles promised the outcome would be different at Bleeding Edge.

The New Generation

Kimberly Kennedy welcomed SCSF icon Hardcore Adam to the ring, who was greeted with a warm welcome by the fans. Kennedy welcomed Adam as an official member of the MoW roster but mentioned that Adam was already familiar with MoW. Adam said that he spent some time in the MoW ring last year but has been wrestling for nearly thirty years and was fortunate enough to drop in on MoW in the 1990s as well. Kennedy asked Adam what he was looking to accomplish in MoW in 2021. Adam said he did not know what was next for him, but he did see a bright future for two of MoW’s newest recruits.

Adam introduced Tornado, son of SCSF legend Cyclone, and Alexandra Morgan, daughter of SCSF legend Rock-On!, to the ring. Adam said the legacy of SCSF was standing in the ring with him but suggested that Tornado and Morgan are the sign of a “new century” and introduced the New Century Strong Fighter faction. Tornado and Morgan told the audience that NCSF will be a powerful force in MoW and their journey would begin next week. Hardcore Adam raised Alexandra Morgan and Tornado’s arms in the air and all three hyped up the crowd before leaving the ring.

MoW Championship Number One Contender’s Match
Rex Anarchy vs. John Austin Baker

The main event featured Rex Anarchy and John Austin Baker battling for the opportunity to challenge Cole Arcane for the MoW Championship. Anarchy had the early lead and outwrestled Baker. Baker clobbered Anarchy with a lariat and viciously attacked the former champion. Anarchy took brutal hit after hit but continued to fight back. Anarchy dodged another lariat and tackled Baker before wearing Baker down with some body shots and holds.

Anarchy set up Baker for a fisherman suplex, but Baker blocked. Baker suplexed Anarchy in return and then began blasting Anarchy in the face with forearm shots repeatedly. Anarchy began bleeding from the nose and face. Anarchy tried to get to his feet, but Baker continued his onslaught before flooring Anarchy with a short arm lariat. Baker propped Anarchy on his feet and hit him with another lariat. Baker then whipped a groggy Anarchy into the ropes and hit a running lariat. Anarchy lay motionless while Baker stood over him. Baker then sat on Anarchy’s chest and began slugging him with elbow shots. The referee was able to push Baker off Anarchy to check on Anarchy. The referee called for the bell, awarding John Austin Baker the victory by decision, as Rex Anarchy was knocked out and unable to continue.

Baker wasted no time celebrating and instead continued his physical assault on Anarchy. MoW Champion Cole Arcane ran down to the ring and chased Baker away. Arcane checked on Anarchy while officials entered the ring to tend to Anarchy. Arcane looked outside the ring to Baker, who grinned at Arcane.
