Masters of Wrestling visited Allentown, PA. Rex Anarchy returned to action in a main event clash with Mark Blood, John Austin Baker met Marty Anderson in singles action, new challengers stepped up to the reigning champions, and the night kicked off with Jax Rivers vs. Balance!

Jax Rivers vs. Balance

Jax Rivers said he was looking for competition and met veteran wrestler Balance in the show’s opening match. This hard hitting, seesaw matchup highlighted the skillset of Balance. Balance kept on his younger opponent and thwarted Rivers attempt to get in offense early in the match. Balance rallied the fans for support as he caught Rivers with a quick attack.

Rivers broke free from Balance’s lifting DDT and shocked him with a flapjack. Rivers was too worn down to cover for a pin but was able to use the opportunity to start a comeback. Rivers hit Balance with a knee lift that knocked Balance backward through the ropes to the floor. Rivers propelled himself over the ropes to Balance on the outside and dragged him back into the ring. Balance kicked out of a pin and Rivers continued to stay on offense. Balance dodged a flapjack, tried to break Rivers’ momentum, but his comeback was short lived. Rivers dropped Balance with a flapjack and pinned him for the victory.

Jax Rivers stood tall in the ring and celebrated his win. The lights in the arena began to flicker, getting Rivers’ attention, but cleared up after a few moments.

Unsolicited Advice

Jessie Vega and Maria Estrella were talking to each other in the locker room when Kami King entered the room. King looked annoyed, sighed, and began to leave. Vega called out to King and asked to speak with her. Vega told King that she was angry about her own career once and made the mistake of taking it out on Estrella, damaging their friendship for years. Vega asked King to step back and clear her head. King looked downward and nodded before striking Vega with a hard slap to the face. King walked off while Estrella rushed over to check on Vega. Vega looked back in King’s direction as she rubbed the side of her face.

John Austin Baker vs. Marty Anderson

Former MoW Team Champion Marty Anderson stepped into the ring with the dangerous John Austin Baker. Baker tried to intimidate Anderson but received a thunderous clubbing of fists for his effort. Anderson had Baker right where he wanted him as the match continued. Baker blocked a scoop slam and used a double axe handle to Anderson’s back to break his offense.

Baker began a slow, vicious attack on Anderson, trying to send a message that Anderson should fear him. Anderson made a short comeback until Baker hit him with a drop kick. Baker had Anderson in his sights and ran at him for a lariat, but Anderson ducked and responded with a spinebuster. Anderson pinned Baker to earn a victory.

Marty Anderson had his arm raised by the referee, but the victory celebration was short. John Austin Baker recovered and attacked Anderson from behind. Baker knocked out a dazed Anderson with a lariat before leaving the ring to boos from the crowd.

Unfinished Business

The Navigators spoke to a camera backstage, saying they have unfinished business with The Lost Ones. Aidan North said that in Rapid Fire Wrestling, Mysterie and he fought as one against the very men she now aligns with. North no longer recognizes who she is. Pete Arrow said they are both happy The Lost Ones are MoW Team Champions because they are coming to settle the score and regaining the titles in the process. North challenged The Lost Ones for the MoW Team Championships at War Stories. Arrow slaps North on the shoulder, they share a nod, and walk off screen.

The Long Road for the Champ

Kimberly Kennedy stood in the ring and welcomed MoW Champion, Cole Arcane. Kennedy congratulated Arcane on his continuing reign as champion and asked him what was next. Arcane talked about how he was told he would never amount to anything as a child, clawed and fought for someone to give him a job so he could pay to go to wrestling school. He talked about how he had to go to war just to be considered for a title shot, went to war to win the MoW Championship, and has been through war just to hand onto the prize. Arcane did not know who his next opponent would be at War Stories but expected to go to war once again.

Killer Malone interrupted the interview to confront the champion. Malone congratulated Arcane for never quitting and giving everything to earn the MoW Championship. The crowd began to cheer, and Malone let them praise Arcane. Malone continued by saying that he also has fought hard, and felt his hard work was worthy of shot at Arcane’s title. Arcane said if that was what Malone wanted, he would welcome the challenge. Malone extended a hand and both men shook hands to seal the deal. Malone refused to let go of the handshake until leaving the champion with parting words. He respects Arcane, but he, too, expects to go to war, and refuses to surrender.

Arcane and Malone stared at each other from several paces away. Malone left the ring to Arcane, who watched his new challenger leave ringside.

Rex Anarchy vs. Mark Blood

The main event featured the returning Rex Anarchy against one of his greatest rivals, Mark Blood. Blood was the first on offense until Anarchy blocked a punch and returned with a series of his own. Anarchy began to overpower Blood, keeping him from getting in any offense. Blood escaped to the outside of the ring where Anarchy followed close behind.

Anarchy caught up with Blood, though Blood was able to hit Anarchy’s head into the ring apron. Blood then pulled up the floor padding and body slammed Anarchy onto the concrete. Blood used the outside to his advantage before rolling Anarchy back into the ring. Blood primed Anarchy for a tombstone piledriver, but Anarchy escaped and began to make a comeback. This time, it was Anarchy who was ready to finish off Blood, when Tracy Blood ran down to the ring and hopped onto the apron. The referee turned his attention to Tracy, as did Anarchy, giving Mark an opportunity to low blow Anarchy and use a tombstone piledriver to incapacitate him. Mark covered for a pin as the referee turned back toward the competitors. The referee counted to three and awarded the victory to Mark Blood.

Mark and Tracy Blood beat down Rex Anarchy after the bell. Their attack stopped when Hardcore Adam’s music began to play, and the legend appeared from backstage. The Blood siblings looked confused. Hardcore Adam spoke to Mark and Tracy, telling him that he has known them both since they were children. He was disappointed in their recent behavior and told them they were better than this. Mark and Tracy looked saddened about Hardcore Adam’s words, but then Tracy struck him with a head kick. Mark scooped up Hardcore Adam and dropped him with a tombstone piledriver. NCSF, Tornado and Alexandra Morgan, stormed down to the ring to save Hardcore Adam. The Blood siblings escaped the ring while Tornado and Morgan checked on their fallen mentor.
