Atlantic City, NJ was host to an intense meeting between NCSF and the Blood siblings, Cole Arcane shared his thoughts on his upcoming title defense, Jessie Vega vs. Kami King, Jax Rivers vs. The Convict, and more.
NCSF Sets the Tone
The show kicked off with NCSF members Tornado and Alexandra Morgan entering the ring with microphones. Tornado said that he and Mark Blood had years of mutual respect. Morgan said she had been a supporter of Tracy Blood, the MoW Champion, but not anymore. NCSF said that the Blood siblings’ attack on Hardcore Adam last week was despicable. Tornado reported that Hardcore Adam was physically fine after the attack but was heartbroken that the children of one of the best friends turned on him.
Morgan announced that they asked MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson for a match against the Bloods and that match was set to be the main event of the evening. Tornado warned the Bloods that they would be in for a long night of pain and payback.
A Cold Welcome
The Navigators, Aidan North and Pete Arrow, entered the arena backstage. They were making small talk when Arrow was hit from behind by Giant Wraith. North turned to see what happened and was suplexed to the floor by Grave. The Lost Ones beat down The Navigators and sent Arrow over some production equipment. North was unconscious on the floor as Mysterie stepped toward him. Mysterie sat down on the floor and cradled North in her arms. Mysterie whispered to North that she and he could have had the world together if he had not forgotten about her. Mysterie kissed North before gently placing his head on the floor and walking away with Grave and Giant Wraith.
Jax Rivers vs. The Convict w/”Badlands” Bill Stanton
The Convict brought out the beast in Jax Rivers in a match that quickly turned into a brawl. Rivers started the match with a collar and elbow tie-up with The Convict, but a headbutt by The Convict was the first sign that the match would not be a normal athletic competition. The Convict slugged Rivers repeatedly and rubbed his face into the mat.
Bill Stanton supported his partner with words of encouragement from outside the ring. Stanton was excited about The Convict’s performance until Rivers dodged a clothesline and hit the rebounding Convict with a drop kick. Stanton pounded on the mat, trying to get The Convict’s attention as Rivers began to make a comeback. The Convict jabbed Rivers in the eye to break the momentum, receiving a stern warning from the referee. The Convict continued beating on Rivers, but Rivers changed his strategy and began brawling. Rivers threw The Convict out to the floor and pursued. Rivers continued a nasty assault on The Convict, causing Stanton to try to intervene. Rivers used a flapjack on Stanton, sending him chest-first across the crowd barricade. Rivers was fired up as he rolled The Convict into the ring and dropped him with a flapjack as well. Rivers covered for a pin to win the match.
Jax Rivers stood tall and celebrated in the ring. The lights went out for a few seconds before coming back on. Rivers looked confused but continued celebrating his win.
Team Meeting
Cameras observed membered The Diamond Peak holding a backstage meeting. Claudia Winter told Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent that their talents will make them the dominant players in the tag team division, and they needed to be patient for the opportunity to strike at the right time.
Shannon Worth spoke up and asked when her time was coming because she wanted the winner between Cate Stiles and MoW Champion Tracy Blood. Winter assured Worth that she would make a title opportunity happen very soon.
Marty Anderson Fires Back
Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with Marty Anderson. Kennedy mentioned John Austin Baker’s post-match attack on Anderson last week and asked him about his thoughts. Anderson said he was used to making a living in a rough world of pro wrestling, so he has met the likes of someone like Baker before. Anderson said that sometimes people like Baker need to be put in their place, and when they meet in the ring next week, Baker is going to learn his lesson the hard way.
Jessie Vega w/Maria Estrella vs. Kami King
An unpleasant encounter last week brought Jessie Vega and Kami King into the ring to settle their differences. King was aggressive early in the match. The strategy was effective until Vega blocked a suplex attempt and reversed with one of her own. Vega got the upper hand and started focusing her attacks on King’s arm. Vega tried for a double wrist lock, but King kept the hold from being locked in completely and was able to escape.
Vega continued her momentum. King was thrown chest-first into the turnbuckle, sending her crashing to the mat. Vega climbed the turnbuckle and went for a frogsplash. King rolled out of the way, causing Vega to land hard on the mat. Vega tried to get to her feet but was clutching her shoulder. King recovered, spotted Vega’s weakened shoulder, and focused her attacks on it. Vega cried out as King was relentless in further damaging her shoulder. Vega kicked out of two pin attempts but succumbed to a super kick to her collarbone, followed by a second one to the face. King covered Vega and pinned her for the victory.
Kami King celebrated a hard fought victory while Maria Estrella helped a recovering Jessie Vega on the outside. King looked down at Vega and Estrella with a cold stare before returning to her celebration.
A Killer Challenger for Cole Arcane
Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with MoW Champion Cole Arcane. Kennedy recapped Killer Malone challenging Arcane for the title at War Stories. Kennedy asked Arcane what he thought of his new challenger. Arcane said that Malone is a ring veteran who has made a name for himself everywhere he has wrestled. Arcane acknowledged that the competition in MoW is world class and he has no doubt that Malone is one of the toughest around. Arcane welcomed the challenge and admitted it would be a tough night on the job when they meet in the ring.
Kennedy asked Arcane if he had any words for Malone. Arcane considered his answer and then said that he respects Malone and feels honored to defend the MoW Championship against him, however, he has no intention of leaving War Stories without the belt around his waist.
Mark Blood and Tracy Blood vs. NCSF (Tornado and Alexandra Morgan)
MoW Champion Tracy Blood and her brother Mark Blood came out and asked to speak with NCSF before the bell rang. The Bloods said they had a week to think over their attack on Hardcore Adam and agreed that it was a mistake. They asked Alexandra Morgan and Tornado for a truce. Morgan and Tornado were not buying it and were prepared when the Bloods tried to attack them. Morgan threw Tracy into the ropes and back body dropped the champion, causing her to roll outside to recover. Tornado blasted Mark with punches before clotheslining him over the ropes to the floor.
Tornado and Morgan revved up the crowd while the Bloods collected themselves on the outside. Mark stepped into the ring to the mixed tag match with Tornado while Tracy stepped up onto the apron. Mark and Tornado locked up and Mark began to outwrestle Tornado. Tornado worked his way out of Mark’s offense and made a short comeback before tagging in Morgan. Mark stepped out of the ring and Tracy took his place.
Morgan overpowered Tracy and the champion tried to run back to her brother to escape the ring. Morgan caught up with her and suplexed her across the ring. Tracy tried to leave the ring but found Tornado blocking her escape. Tracy turned to Morgan, who was closing in and pleaded with her, stressing that she was sorry about Hardcore Adam. Morgan grabbed Tracy by the hair and looked ready to throw her again, but Tracy kneed Morgan in the gut and then struck her with a kick to the knee. Morgan fell and clutched her knee, giving Tracy an opportunity to inflict more damage.
Tracy tried for a head kick on Morgan, but Morgan dodged and further strained her knee. Tracy used a Boston Crab to further weaken Morgan. Morgan reached the ropes to break the hold. Tracy looked ready to finish off Morgan, however, Morgan dodged another head kick and was able to respond with a pop up powerbomb. Morgan was unable to get to her feet and capitalize but did tag in Tornado. Mark took Tracy’s place, and the men continued the fight.
Tornado stunned Mark with a DDT, followed up with a northern light suplex, and then climbed the turnbuckle. Tornado hit a 450 splash on Mark and covered for a pin. Tracy rushed into the ring and broke up the pin. Tornado got to his knees and was cracked in the face by a head kick from Tracy. Morgan entered the ring to stop Tracy and the women brawled. Mark recovered and dropped the groggy Tornado with a tombstone piledriver. Mark covered for a pin to win the match.
The Blood siblings celebrated their win by continuing to attack NCSF. Tracy Blood continued to attack Morgan’s knee and Mark Blood knelt over Tornado and pummeled him with strikes. The crowd cheered as Rex Anarchy ran down to the ring and attacked Mark, chasing him off Tornado. Moments later, Cate Stiles rushed down to the ring to stop Tracy. Tracy and Stiles traded blows until the champion was slammed to the mat with a flapjack from Stiles. Cate Stiles, number one contender for Tracy’s MoW Championship stood tall in the ring.
