Masters of Wrestling came to Topeka, KS with the first show after the War Stories.
Rex Anarchy on the Hunt
Rex Anarchy opened the show by coming to the ring to call out Mark Blood. Anarchy said that he always knew Blood was a scumbag and has been trying to hunt him down for weeks. Anarchy refused to wait any longer and called on Blood to meet him in the ring.
John Austin Baker came out to the ring instead. Baker blamed Anarchy’s interference at War Stories for costing him a title shot.
Rex Anarchy vs. John Austin Baker
Rex Anarchy and John Austin Baker locked horns with a roughhouse battle. Anarchy dodged a clothesline and responded with a drop kick that sent Baker rolling out of the ring. Anarchy followed him in pursuit.
The match continued outside the ring until Baker body slammed Anarchy over the ring barricade and into the crowd. The fight continued in the audience as the referee declared the match a no contest. Both men fought and worked their way out of the arena and into the parking lot.
Making Things Right
The Diamond Peak were backstage with Claudia Winter and Shannon Worth having a tense discussion. Winter was trying to calm Worth down, promising to fix what happened at War Stories. Worth said that Maria Estrella stole her chance at becoming number one contender.
Winter promised that Worth’s opportunity was still possible and asked her for patience. Worth warned she was running out of patience.
Parking Lot Brawl
Rex Anarchy and John Austin Baker continued to fight outside in the parking lot. Baker’s arm looked cut up from the pavement and Anarchy was bleeding from his scalp.
Baker was thrown against the back of a sedan. Anarchy climbed onto the car, pulled Baker up with him, and drove Baker through the back window of the car with a piledriver.
MoW officials ran out to stop the fight, but Anarchy was already stumbling away from the scene. Baker was not moving and medical staff began tending to him.
Spilled Coffee
Kami King was walking around backstage listening to music on her earbuds with a latte in her hand. King did not hear the rolling of Paisley Alden on her skateboard down an adjoining hallway. Alden grazed King as the two crossed paths, causing King to spill her latte on herself. King looked stunned and angry as she watched Alden roll away.
The Blood Siblings Have Plans
Mark and Tracy Blood came down to the ring to address their plans in MoW now that Tracy had lost the MoW Championship to Cate Stiles and Mark Blood lost the number one contender’s match at War Stories.
Mark called MoW Champion Cole Arcane a fraud who should not be champion and said he will prove it. Blood also had issues with the new MoW Championship number one contender, Tornado. Mark said that Tornado did not belong in MoW and he was not the right man to carry the MoW Championship. Mark intended to make MoW better by taking matters into his own hands.
Tracy said that she should still be MoW Champion. Tracy blamed NCSF for costing her the title. Tracy made it clear that regaining the MoW Championship was her top priority, but she needed to get Alexandra Morgan out of the way first.
Andre Jordan and Snarl w/ Lucia Mendez vs. Balance and Ridge
The main event featured a tag team match. Andre Jordan and Snarl continued to show their growing partnership with an impressive offense against Balance and Ridge.
Ridge hit Jordan with an enziguri and rallied a comeback. Balance continued that momentum and managed a few near falls on Jordan. Jordan tried to reach Snarl while Lucia Mendez cheered him on. Ridge had Jordan in position for a shooting star press but Jordan got his knees up to block the move and incapacitate Ridge.
Jordan was able to tag in Snarl. Snarl burst into the ring and tried to powerbomb Ridge. Ridge hammered fists into Snarl’s face and used a hurricanrana to reverse the move. Balance tagged in and used a double arm DDT to subdue Snarl. Snarl kicked out of the pin attempt. Balance tried to keep the momentum but Snarl came back strong and finished Balance with a powerbomb. Snarl pinned Balance to win a big match for Andre Jordan and himself.
Jordan, Snarl, and Lucia Mendez celebrated in the ring to close the show.
