The fall season action continued in Spokane, Washington. Cole Arcane defended the MoW Championship against Mark Blood while other feuds intensified through MoW.
Looking for Payback
The show began with Snarl bursting into the backstage of the arena, hot on the hunt for the MoW Team Champions, The Lost Ones. The Lost Ones attacked Snarl’s partners, Andre Jordan and Lucia Mendez, while he was forced to watch handcuffed to a turnbuckle.
Snarl was wrecking the backstage area in pursuit of The Lost Ones until he was stopped by MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson. Snarl demanded to know where The Lost Ones were hiding and Johnson told him that they were not in the arena this week. Johnson told Snarl to go home and cool off.
Snarl grabbed Johnson by the collar and told Johnson he would be back next week to destroy The Lost Ones and anyone who tries to stop him.
Tracy Blood vs. Alexandra Morgan
Tracy Blood and Alexandra Morgan met in a rematch of last week’s main event. Blood came looking to even the score with Morgan by striking early and fast. Blood went for a head kick but Morgan dodged.
Morgan caught Blood, slammed her to the mat with a spinebuster, and demonstrated how powerful she was by continuing to throw Blood around the ring. Blood tried to escape the ring but Morgan pulled her back in by her hair. Morgan used a chokeslam on Blood and covered for a pin but Blood kicked out.
Morgan continued her dominance until Blood ducked a clothesline and rebounded with a flying knee. Morgan stayed in control but was rocked by the knee strike, allowing Blood to slowly get herself back on track.
Blood used a drop toe hold on Morgan that sent Morgan falling the turnbuckle. Morgan appeared to be knocked out and Blood quickly covered for a pin but Morgan managed to kick out. Blood followed up with a boston crab that Morgan was able to power out of, but she felt the effects of the damage to her back. With her strength advantage reduced, Blood was able to continue offense, hitting Morgan with a head kick, and pinning her for the victory.
Bad Blood Contained in a Cage
Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with Maria Estrella and Jessie Vega. Kennedy asked Estrella about history with The Diamond Peak leader Claudia Winter and their steel cage match at Final Round.
Estrella said that Winter has done nothing but torment her from the day they met. Estrella said she needs to move on, and will be relieved to finally get her hands on Winter, alone, in the steel cage.
Vega backed up Estrella, promising to be ringside to watch her send Winter out of MoW forever. Estrella put her hand on Vega’s shoulder and told Winter to have a new job lined up because Final Round will truly be Winter’s final appearance in MoW.
Show Yourself
Jax Rivers came to the ring to call out Dr. Insidious, who had been tormenting him for weeks. Rivers waited and when it seemed Dr. Insidious would not show, the lights went off.
It was a tense moment in the darkness until the lights returned and Rivers was standing face-to-face with Dr. Insidious. Rivers charged at Dr. Insidious but the lights went back out and when they came back on, Dr. Insidious was gone, leaving behind a frustrated Jax Rivers.
Kami King vs. Paisley Alden
A spilled cup of coffee turned into a competitive rivalry between Kami King and MoW rookie Paisley Alden. King and Alden met one more time to see which woman would best the other.
Alden was the first to strike and caught King by surprise, nearly pinning her with in the first minute. King backed into a corner and composed herself before locking up with Alden. The match was a back and forth struggle that included a chain of hip tosses, leap frogs, dodged clotheslines, and finally, a double cross body block.
King used a neckbreaker that stunned Alden, and though she was slowed down, Alden kept herself in the fight. King went for a superkick but Alden caught her ankle, spun King around, and used a dragon suplex. Alden nearly pinned King and was shocked that King rolled a shoulder up at the last moment.
Alden built a strong comeback and had King at her mercy. Alden tried for a tornado DDT but King pushed her off. Alden landed on her feet but was too slow to dodge King’s superkick. King pinned Alden to win the match.
Kami King celebrated her win while Paisley Alden sat against a turnbuckle, looking disappointed. Alden pulled herself to her feet and approached King. Alden held out a handshake out of respect. King nodded and shook hands. King said something to Alden and patted her shoulder. Alden left the ring to King, who continued to celebrate her win.
A Clear Picture
MoW Champion Cate Stiles made her way to the ring to address the audience. Stiles remarked how much drama that has been around her MoW Championship and she hadn’t even been around. Stiles said that the dust settled and things look different. Maria Estrella was out and Shannon Worth was in.
Stiles said her Final Round opponent was different, but the outcome would be the same. Stiles admitted she has never been shy about telling the world she is the best wrestler on the planet and will hold the MoW Championship into 2022 and beyond.
The Diamond Peak interrupted the champion. Claudia Winter spoke for Shannon Worth while Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent stood behind Worth like bodyguards. Winter said that Stiles deserved to be called the best wrestler on the planet, but added that it should be in the past tense. Winter warned Stiles that her time as the top star in the wrestling world was about to end and heralded the coming of the Shannon Worth era.
Stiles sized up Worth and said that she hoped Worth knew what she was getting into. Worth looked ready to fight, and Stiles encouraged her to try, but Winter stopped Worth and told her not to fall for it. Winter told Stiles to take care of the belt around her waist because she will have to hand it over at Final Round.
MoW Championship Match
Mark Blood vs. Cole Arcane (c)
The main event was a grudge match with the big prize on the line. Cole Arcane defended the MoW Championship, and his reputation, against his tormented, Mark Blood.
Blood tried to get into Arcane’s head early in the match but was rocked by a sudden and violent assault by Arcane. Blood tried to stop the assault but Arcane was relentless.
Arcane used a piledriver on Blood, and then a second. Arcane stood over Blood and then started punching him in the face. Blood, incapacitated from the piledrivers, tried in vain to block the strikes.
Arcane was fired up and walked around the ring screaming. Blood began to get to his feet but was dropped by a running boot to the side of the head. The referee stopped Arcane from going any further while he checked on Blood’s condition. Blood waved off the referee and stood on wobbling legs.
Arcane ran at Blood for a clothesline but Blood ducked, pulled Arcane’s legs out from under him and used a reverse boston crab on the champion. Arcane was able to escape but Blood recovered from his earlier beating and started to keep the champion grounded with submissions.
Blood taunted Arcane, telling him he was lying to everyone and was still the same street thug he was in his childhood. Arcane got more frustrated trying to escape while Blood held him down tighter. Blood had Arcane in a sleeper hold that almost worked, but Arcane was able to get a hand on the bottom ring rope to break the submission.
Blood hovered over Arcane, taunting him to get up. Arcane got to his feet but Blood scooped him up and used a tombstone piledriver. Blood covered Arcane but the champion dug deep and kicked out. Blood was shocked. Arcane looked up at Blood and threw him a middle finger. Blood smiled, but then his lip quivered with anger. Blood scooped up Arcane again and used another tombstone piledriver. Blood went for another pin but Arcane once again kicked out.
Blood went for a third tombstone piledriver but Arcane was able to reverse that one, delivering one of his own. Arcane rallied for a comeback and prepared Blood for a running bulldog. Blood slipped free, kicked Arcane in the gut, and picked him up for a third, and final tombstone piledriver. Blood covered Arcane, the referee counted to three, and Mark Blood became the new MoW Champion.
Mark Blood celebrated his win with the MoW Championship held high over his head. Cole Arcane was unresponsive as Blood nudged him to the side of the ring apron with his boot.
Blood looked proud as he stood in the center of the ring with the belt over his shoulder. His music was cut off by Tornado’s music and Tornado, the number one contender for the MoW Championship came down to the ring. Tornado confronted Blood, sharing some inaudible words with the new champion. After a tense staredown, Tornado left the ring. Mark Blood watched him with a cold stare.
