MoW #066 Results

Portland, Oregon hosted an intense night of Masters of Wrestling action.

The Savior of MoW

The show began with new MoW Champion Mark Blood coming to the ring to address the fans. Blood ignored the disapproval of the fans and proclaimed MoW was in a better place with him as champion. Blood said that Cole Arcane is a great competitor and he understands why the fans love Arcane. But Blood said that Arcane has champion was always a mistake. It made MoW look bad. Blood said he was the example of what a wrestling champion should be.

Tornado came down to the ring to confront Blood. Tornado said the MoW fans want someone they can respect as champion. They respect Cole Arcane. They respect Blood’s father, Mike Blood, but the apple fell far from the tree.

Blood attacked Tornado and the two brawled in the ring before the fight was broken up by MoW security.

Mind Games

MoW Champion Cate Stiles was with a tense Jax Rivers in their dressing room. Stiles stroked Rivers’s hand and told him not to let Dr. Insidious’s mind games get to him. Rivers said Dr. Insidious was capable of anything, and could be anywhere. Stiles looked around and assured him everything was fine.

Stiles said she would be right back, kissed Rivers on the cheek, and left the dressing room. Rivers sat quietly until he heard someone breathing. Rivers looked around and the breathing stopped. Nobody was in the room.

Cuts from the Same Cloth

The Convict was walking backstage when he encountered a sulking Cole Arcane sitting on a bench. The Convict sat down next to Arcane and tried to console the former champion. The Convict told Arcane it was a shame to have his past exposed by Mark Blood and losing everything because of it.

The Convict added that he and Arcane are more alike than he realized, but Arcane assured The Convict they were nothing alike. The Convict stood up, offended, and challenged Arcane to say that again. Arcane stood up and got face to face with The Convict. They began to shove each other until Rex Anarchy stepped in to break the two up. The Convict left and Anarchy tried to calm Arcane down.

A Word of Warning

Maria Estrella and Jessie Vega were backstage when they were confronted by The Diamond Peak. Claudia Winter looked up and down Vega and told her to stay far away from the ring at Final Round or she can count on it being the end of both her wrestling career and singing career. Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent both assured Winter that Vega will not be a problem when Winter meets Estrella in their steel cage match.

Estrella told everyone to back off and leave Vega alone. Shannon Worth warned Estrella that she did not understand the trouble she had gotten herself into by getting into the cage with “the boss.”

Estrella and Vega found themselves surrounded by the members of The Diamond Peak but looked ready to fight. MoW Champion Cate Stiles stepped in and asked what was going on. Stiles looked at Worth and asked her if she was more worried about her boss’s problems than her upcoming match with Stiles at Final Round. Stiles smiled and walked off, leaving Worth flustered.

A Fight Against The Odds

Snarl marched down to the ring with a look of determination in his eye. He called for a microphone and yelled to the production crew to shut off his music. Snarl wasted no time telling The Lost Ones they had gone too far attacking his friends, Andre Jordan and Lucia Mendez. Snarl demanded The Lost Ones show themselves and fight him in a handicap match.

MoW Team Champions The Lost Ones, Grave and Giant Wraith came to the ring with Mysterie at their side, to make the handicap match official.

Snarl vs. MoW Team Champions The Lost Ones (Grave and Giant Wraith w/Mysterie)

Snarl came into the match full of rage, stunning Grave with a brutal offense. Grave stopped Snarl’s attack, but only briefly, and found himself thrown to the mat and powerbombed.

Snarl could have covered for a pin but beckoned Giant Wraith to enter the ring instead. Snarl threw Grave at Giant Wraith, Giant Wraith tagged in, and locked up with Snarl. After a push and shove, Snarl once again overpowered his opponent.

Snarl was building more momentum until Giant Wraith blocked a powerbomb with a back body drop and kicked Snarl in the head. Giant Wraith tagged in Grave and they teamed up to double chokeslam Snarl. Grave pinned Snarl but Snarl kicked out. Grave and Giant Wraith gave up on following the rules and continued stomping and beating down Snarl to Mysterie’s approval.

Snarl was relentless as he tried to stand up but was knocked down with each attempt. Snarl, overwhelmed by his foes, was in trouble, and that is when Andre Jordan and Lucia Mendez made their return, storming the ring to fend off Grave and Giant Wraith. Mysterie climbed into the ring and began brawling with Mendez. Jordan and Snarl battled the MoW Team Champions together. Jordan, Snarl, and Mendez tossed The Lost Ones from the ring and were ready for more, but the champions backed off.

Snarl and Andre Jordan shared a handshake and quick hug. Lucia Mendez dove on Snarl’s back and hugged his neck and chest. The three friends stood tall in the ring and celebrated their reunion while The Lost Ones watched with interest.
