The Year Behind and the Year Beyond

The show kicked off with MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson in the ring. Johnson wanted to say a few words on the final regular show of the year. Johnson thanked the fans for being part of a great year of wrestling. He said new stars are rising and felt confident that MoW will be thriving for years to come.

Johnson said that two of the most anticipated matches at Final Round are Maria Estrella and Claudia Winter in a steel cage match and MoW Champion Cate Stiles defending against Shannon Worth. Johnson put together a fun main event for the evening with Stiles and Estrella teaming up against Worth and Winter.

Johnson said he was looking forward to all the action at Final Round and can’t wait for the fans to experience the biggest wrestling event of the year next week.

Cole Arcane vs. The Convict w/ “Badlands” Bill Stanton

Tempers flared between Cole Arcane and The Convict last week and they met in the ring to settle their differences. Arcane came out strong but his aggression got the best of him, allowing The Convict to find an opening to stop his momentum.

The Convict beat on Arcane and tried to pin him several times, but the former MoW Champion fought back and turned the tide of the match in his favor. Arcane had The Convict in position for a running bulldog when “Badlands” Bill Stanton stormed the ring and hit him with a double axe handle to the face. The referee called for a disqualification but could not stop The Convict and Stanton from assaulting Arcane.

Rex Anarchy ran down to the ring and helped even the odds. Arcane and Anarchy fought off The Convict and Stanton.

Arcane watched Anarchy with unease and then grabbed a microphone. Arcane asked why, after all they had been through, Anarchy would help him now. Anarchy said he always respected that Arcane became a star his own way. Anarchy said Arcane was not the kid he used to be and instead became a world champion. Anarchy told Arcane that he had his back.

Uneasy Alliance

Maria Estrella was getting her ring gear on while talking to Jessie Vega. Estrella said she wasn’t thrilled with having to work with Cate Stiles.

On queue, MoW Champion Cate Stiles entered their dressing room and wanted to talk strategy for their main event match. Stiles said she sensed she was getting a cold shoulder from Estrella and Vega and asked why. Estrella and Vega looked at each other before Vega reminded Stiles that she broke Vega’s ankle in Rapid Fire Wrestling.

Stiles didn’t apologize but admitted that she did injure Vega. Stiles then countered that Vega broke her elbow in retaliation, so they were even. Estrella cut in and said that Stiles didn’t get along with many people, but they do need to co-exist in their tag match later in the night. Estrella and Stiles began to strategize while Vega stood aside, looking annoyed.

A Firm Line in the Sand

MoW Champion Mark Blood and his sister, Tracy Blood, entered the ring. Mark said that the Blood family has been a part of MoW from the beginning. He said he felt a responsibility to protect MoW.

Mark said that Tracy, himself, and their father, Mike Blood, defended MoW against the Rapid Fire Rebellion last year when nobody else would, Mark saved the MoW Championship from being tarnished by the deplorable Cole Arcane, and now he and Tracy must defeat their NCSF rivals and put them in their place, firmly behind the Blood family.

Mark’s words were enough to bring NCSF’s Tornado and Alexandra Morgan to ringside. Before walking down the aisle, they both stopped and looked behind them. Hardcore Adam followed behind to a roar of applause. NCSF walked down to the ring to confront the Blood siblings.

Tornado explained that it was the Bloods who caused their conflict. Tornado said that he and Morgan were minding their own business in MoW until the Bloods attacked Hardcore Adam. Tornado blamed Mark and Tracy for everything.

Tracy began to refute this claim until Hardcore Adam commanded her to stop. Tracy looked stunned by Adam’s forceful tone. Adam said it was all true and that Mark and Tracy must face the consequences for their actions. Adam felt sorry for the Bloods because he knows their downfall will be painful.

Morgan told Tracy to be ready because they were going to meet one more time at Final Round. Tornado told Mark that they have known each other a long time but he is coming to take the MoW Championship and, more importantly, put Mark in his place.

Hardcore Adam admitted that will take no pleasure and watching the Blood family fall, but it must be done. Mark breathed into the microphone that Adam had it all backward. NCSF will be shattered at Final Round.

Mixing It Up

Snarl, Andre Jordan, and Lucia Mendez were backstage with Kimberly Kennedy. Kennedy recapped the trios struggles with the MoW Team Champions, The Lost Ones, and asked them what was next. Mendez said that Snarl and Jordan had a goal to win the MoW Team Championship and The Lost Ones made it personal. Now, they all want a piece of The Lost Ones.

Mendez announced that they have gotten word from Tiger Johnson that all three members of The Lost Ones, Grave, Giant Wraith, and Mysterie will defend the titles against Snarl, Jordan, and herself. Jordan said the game just changed. Snarl growled and the three walked off.

Cate?

Jax Rivers walked into his and Cate Stiles’s dressing room and heard the shower running. Rivers called to Stiles and asked why she wasn’t ready for her match, which was about to begin. Stiles didn’t respond.

The shower shut off and Rivers called out again. There was no response. Rivers pulled back the shower curtain to find the shower stall empty. A confused Rivers turned around and was attacked by Dr. Insidious. Rivers was caught off guard and unable to defend himself. Insidious slammed Rivers into the shower walls and left him laying motionless on the floor.

Shannon Worth and Claudia Winter vs. Maria Estrella and MoW Champion Cate Stiles

The main event was a tag match that pitted MoW Champion against number one contender and two longtime rivals. Maria Estrella and Cate Stiles had a tense conversation in their corner before Stiles started the match against Shannon Worth. The champion gave Worth an example of what she was up against at Final Round as Stiles dominated the early minutes of the match.

Worth tangled Stiles’s knee and dropped her to the mat giving Worth the opportunity needed to get on offense. Worth tagged in Winter after roughing up Stiles and Winter went right after the champion with submissions. Stiles found herself on the receiving end of a double team of frequent tags between Winter and Worth.

Stiles dodged a spinning elbow from Worth and used a back suplex to ground Worth long enough to make a long awaited tag to Estrella. Estrella came into the match and fought off both Winter and Worth. Estrella overpowered Worth, forcing her to scramble to tag in Winter, who looked uncomfortable stepping into the ring with Estrella.

Estrella wasn’t waiting for their steel cage match at Final Round and exploded with an aggressive attack on Winter. Estrella suplexed Winter all over the ring and battered her with clotheslines. Winter tried to make a tag but Estrella grabbed her from behind and dragged her back to Estrella’s corner. Stiles slapped Estrella on the back to tag herself in.

Estrella looked surprised at Stiles and began to argue that she didn’t want to tag out. Estrella and Stiles argued and Estrella dropped Winter. Winter recovered and when Stiles got Estrella to leave the ring, she was met with a hurricanrana by Winter. Winter hurried to tag in Worth who rushed into the ring and blasted the champion with a spinning elbow.

Worth covered Stiles for a pin and, despite her close proximity, Estrella did nothing to try and break up the pin. Worth got the three count and pinned the MoW Champion.

Shannon Worth and Claudia Winter celebrated their win. Maria Estrella walked away from the ring, leaving Cate Stiles on her own. Stiles grabbed the MoW Championship belt from the time keeper and looked up at Worth, locking eyes with her challenger. Worth looked confident as Winter stood proudly behind her.
