MoW is proud to bring you the farewell show of Wildheart Wrestling Club.

The Wildheart Speaks

The show opened with WWC founder, “Wildheart” Rand Wolfe, in the ring the address the audience. Wolfe thanked the fans for their support of WWC, thanked the women of WWC for their hard work, and Masters of Wrestling for helping give WWC a proper farewell show.

Wolfe thanked the audience again before leaving the ring.

Kagero Sato vs. “Undeniable” Chez Everett

The first match of the show was a competitive bout between former WWC Champion Kagero Sato and “Undeniable” Chez Everett. The fan favorites tested each other with back and forth holds and throws. Sato was starting to gain an advantage until Everett nailed her with a clothesline that sent Sato head over heels.

Everett’s intensity was on display as she fought hard to wear down the former WWC Champion. Everett used a neckbreaker that won her many matches in WWC. Sato kicked out of the follow up pin attempt to Everett’s surprise.

Everett tried to stay on offense but Sato broke through and used a double arm suplex. Sato began a comeback that rocked Everett and nearly kept her down in a few pin attempts. Everett tried for forearm smash but missed and gave Sato the chance to lock her up in an octopus hold. Everett tried to escape but was forced to submit. Kagero Sato stood tall as the winner of the match.

Sheena vs. Joslyn Sky

Underdog Joslyn Sky stepped into the ring against one of the most dominant wrestlers in WWC history, Sheena. Sky locked up with Sheena and was bulldozed by her larger opponent.

Sheena crushed Sky with suplexes and high speed clotheslines. Sky stumbled around the ring as she tried to get her bearings but was blasted with a big boot by Sheena. Sheena covered for the pin to secure victory in a commanding performance.

Sheena looked out at the crowd and yelled to anyone listening that she was going to do the same to the women of Masters of Wrestling.

Carolina Deene vs. Mia Mercury

Carolina Deene came down to the ring for a rematch against Mia Mercury, who was injured during their previous meeting in December. Deene took a microphone and said she had heard Mercury’s knee injury prevented her from being cleared to compete. Deene suggested that Mercury was too cowardly to face her again.

Mercury’s music began to play and she came down to the ring wearing street clothes. Mercury confirmed that she was not given clearance to wrestle but assured Deene that she had a replacement lined up. Mercury then introduced Deene’s new opponent, Mercury’s former tag team partner and MoW star, Meghan DeWitt.

DeWitt gave a high five to Mercury before locking up with Deene. Deene was caught off guard by DeWitt’s quick application of holds and submissions. DeWitt, who hadn’t been seen on an MoW show in months, had developed a new offense and Deene was the first to challenge it.

Deene got caught in an arm breaker and though she was able to reach a rope to break the hold, she favored her arm as she tried to best DeWitt. DeWitt threw Deene into the ropes and was hit with a shining wizard by Deene. Deene began to bring payback to DeWitt despite her weakened arm and focused her attacks on DeWitt’s lower back. Deene used a half crab on DeWitt and though DeWitt powered out of the submission, Deene continued to attack her.

DeWitt was whipped into a corner and Deene charged at her with double knees. DeWitt dodged, though, sending Deene crashing into the turnbuckle. Deene was down and DeWitt took charge. Following a short burst of offense, DeWitt pulled Deene in for a cobra clutch that forced Deene to submit.

Meghan DeWitt was the winner of the match and celebrated with Mia Mercury. Carolina Deene broke up the celebration and complained about not being ready for DeWitt. Deene tried to take a cheap shot at Mercury but was blocked when DeWitt hit her with a kick to the gut. Mercury grabbed Deene by the hair and threw her out of the ring.

Siobhan Wild vs. Dezzy Nightshade

The energetic Siobhan Wild charged into battle against the intimidating Dezzy Nightshade. Wild tied up with Nightshade and overcame her stronger opponent but momentum was stopped when Nightshade caught Wild off the ropes and dropped her with a sidewalk slam. Nightshade pushed Wild’s head into the mat as the start of a slow, but vicious assault.

Nightshade held Wild in the air by the throat before slamming her to the mat. Wild tried to get to her feet using the ropes but was met with a knee to the back instead. Nightshade slapped Wild around and then threw her off the ropes. Wild rebounded with a drop kick that sent Nightshade tumbling outside.

Wild dove through the ropes to tackle Nightshade and roughed her up some more before returning to the ring. Wild hit Nightshade with everything she had and setup for a Canadian destroyer. Nightshade blocked it and drove Wild down to the mat. Nightshade grabbed Wild by the hair before she could recover and dropped her with a brainbuster. Dezzy Nightshade covered Siobhan Wild with a pin and won the match.

Wildheart Wrestling Club Championship Match

Aurora Starkey vs. Kassidy Fortune (c)

The main event, and final WWC match, pitted two of WWC’s greatest rivals against each other for the WWC Championship. Kassidy Fortune kissed the WWC Championship belt as she handed it to the referee. Aurora Starkey looked at the belt with reverence and then to her opponent. After a brief exchange of words, the women took their corners and waited for the bell to ring.

It was Starkey who took control from the start. Fortune was on the defensive as Starkey overpowered WWC’s champion. Fortune fought back and dazed Starkey with forearm strikes. Neither woman was willing to give up momentum to the other which created an exciting volley of offense for the crowd to enjoy.

Fortune used a spinebuster on Starkey and followed up with a steady offense. Fortune looked ready to hit Starkey with a cutter but Starkey knew her opponent well and pushed away. Fortune was powerbombed by Starkey and the challenger dove on the champion for a pin. Fortune kicked out, frustrating Starkey.

Starkey wasted no time hitting Fortune with body slams and throws. Starkey looked ready to slam the champion with another powerbomb but Fortune blocked the attempt and threw Starkey with a back body drop. Starkey got to her feet quickly but was met with a cutter by the champion. Starkey used a burst of adrenaline to try and stand back up but was hit with a drop kick. Fortune hit Starkey with strikes and slams before using another cutter. Fortune covered Starkey for a pin and got a three count.

Kassidy Fortune cemented her place as the final WWC Champion and held the title belt high over her head. Aurora Starkey climbed to her feet and shared some words with Fortune before raising the champion’s arm high in the air. Starkey and Fortune shared a tearful hug before Starkey left the ring to the champion.

Fortune stood in the ring with a microphone and thanked the fans for supporting WWC. She promised that although WWC is done, its spirit will carry on when she and the rest of the women who wrestled on this night will join MoW.

Fortune thanked the fans again and was about to leave the ring when two of WWC’s alumni interrupted. MoW Champion Shannon Worth and Claudia Winter confronted Fortune. Worth stood in front of Fortune, looked at the WWC Championship belt, and then held the MoW Championship high over her head. Fortune held the WWC Championship high and the women had a long staredown before Worth backed off and warned Fortune to watch her step in MoW. Fortune shrugged off the interference and celebrated with the fans again to close the show. Worth and Winter watched with great interest from the arena entrance.
