Diamond Breaker

The show began with MoW Correspondent Kimberly Kennedy backstage as Jax Rivers entered the area from an exterior door. Kennedy was quick to stop Rivers and asked him how his wife, Cate Stiles, was doing after being attacked by MoW Champion Shannon Worth and The Diamond Peak.

Rivers told Kennedy that Stiles’s leg was broken, had to be surgically repaired, and it was too soon to know when or if she could wrestle again. Kennedy asked Rivers to clarify if there was a possibility Stiles would never wrestle again. Rivers ignored Kennedy’s question but asked where The Diamond Peak was. Kennedy said they hadn’t arrived in the building yet causing Rivers to storm off down the hall.

The Navigators (Aidan North and Pete Arrow) vs. The Badlands Boyz (Bill Stanton and The Convict)

The opening match featured two tag team mainstays of MoW. The Badlands Boyz got the advantage early on and isolated Pete Arrow. Arrow found himself a victim to cheap shots and illegal holds that Stanton and The Convict did their best to hide from the referee.

The referee caught The Convict using a ring rope for leverage and forced him to break an abdominal stretch. The Convict protested before Arrow threw him over his shoulder. Arrow climbed to his corner and tagged in Aidan North.

North rocketed all over the ring, taking The Convict off his feet and knocking Stanton off the apron. Stanton slid into the ring and attacked North which brought Arrow back into the ring, causing a four man brawl.

The referee got control of the match and sent Arrow and Stanton back to their corners. North continued to wear down The Convict before tagging in Arrow. North climbed the turnbuckle, stepped onto Arrow’s shoulders, and used a front flip splash off Arrow and onto The Convict. Arrow picked up The Convict for a sidewalk slam and covered to win the match.

The Squeaky Wheel

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with the MoW Team Champions, Andre Jordan and Snarl. Lucia Mendez was at Jordan’s side caressing his shoulder.

Kennedy described the champions as the top team in an increasingly competitive tag team scene. Kennedy asked if they had their eye on any team in particular. Jordan agreed the tag team scene in MoW was hot and they had just witnessed a great showing by The Navigators, but there was one team that got their attention.

Jordan looked over at Snarl. The MoW legend chuckled and said that sometimes people won’t shut up until they get what they want. Snarl called out The Diamond Peak’s Claudia Winter as one of those people. Snarl then pointed to the camera and said that he and Jordan heard The Diamond Peak talking about becoming the next MoW Team Champions. Snarl said they will meet The Diamond Peak in a title match at System Crash but it will be a painful learning experience for Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent.

Jordan warned you must be careful what you wish for and slapped Snarl on the shoulder before they began to walk off. Mendez grabbed Jordan’s wrist and told him she would catch up before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Alone

Lucia Mendez left Andre Jordan and Snarl and walked down a corridor where she spotted a forlorn Mysterie sitting atop some production equipment.

Mendez stopped and asked her rival where her fellow Lost Ones teammates were. Mysterie looked up and shook her head, explaining that they left her behind at Final Round, just like everyone else has. Mendez took a moment before responding and then said she was sorry they left her. Mysterie looked back down and nodded her head in response.

Mendez went on her way but before getting far she was smashed from behind by Mysterie. Mysterie pulled Mendez by the hair and threw her into a cart of boxes. Mysterie walked away as Mendez held her neck and tried to recover.

Maria Estrella w/Jessie Vega vs. Carolina Deene

Maria Estrella was looking to teach Carolina Deene respect after Deene disrespected her girlfriend, Jessie Vega.

Estrella started the match as the aggressor which caused Deene to try and retreat. Deene couldn’t avoid Estrella and found herself victim to powerful slams before a suplex sent her bouncing from the mat through the ropes to the floor.

Deene looked toward the aisle and it looked like she was going to make a run for it but Vega blocked her escape. Deene cautiously returned to the ring. Estrella closed in for more punishment as Deene got on her knees and begged for her to stop. Deene swept Estrella’s legs as she got close and started to get the advantage as the match continued.

Deene began to get cocky and roughed up Estrella while taunting Vega as she watched from the outside. Deene ran off the ropes for an attack but was hit with an explosive clothesline instead.

Deene was dazed and the clothesline was enough to get Estrella back on offense. Estrella closed in on victory when she used her running powerslam on Deene. The impact was close to the ring ropes and Deene rolled out to the floor before Estrella could pin her. Deene crawled toward the aisle before getting to her feet and throwing her hands signaling she was leaving. The referee counted as Deene walked away from the match. Maria Estrella was declared the winner by countout.

As Estrella and Vega stood in the ring discussing the disappointing finish to the match, they didn’t notice Deene had returned to ringside. Deene pulled a chair from under the ring and cracked Estrella and Vega in the backs with it. Deene threw the chair down and gloated before leaving Estrella and Vega laying on the mat.

Moving On

Tracy Blood was in her dressing room as her brother, Mark Blood, walked in. Tracy looked concerned and commented that Mark didn’t look well. Mark vented that he has tried to be the hero MoW needed but guys like Rex Anarchy get cheered while he gets rejected. Mark asked what he needed to do to get through to people that he was trying to help MoW.

Tracy put a hand on Mark’s shoulder and told him that MoW was doing fine and it wasn’t in need of saving. MoW wasn’t the same wrestling promotion their father wrestled in back in the 1990s. Times change and he’d be happier if he didn’t try to be a hero. Mark looked at Tracy with confusion and asked her what she was trying to accomplish in MoW. Tracy said she wanted to be the best fighter in today’s MoW.

Mark shook his head and lamented that he didn’t see a place for himself in MoW. He told Tracy that it was time for him to go. Mark asked Tracy if she’d be ok in MoW without him. Tracy looked sad but nodded and assured him she would be.

Mark wished Tracy good luck and turned to leave. Tracy frowned as she watched her brother walk out of MoW.

Cole Arcane vs. John Austin Baker

Two of MoW’s toughest men battled in the night’s main event. Cole Arcane gained the early control of the match. Arcane’s aggressive approach appeared to be a message for MoW Champion Tornado ahead of their match at System Crash.

John Austin Baker blocked a punch by Arcane and returned with several of his own. Baker started to break down Arcane with shots to his back. Baker tried for a few pins but Arcane kicked out. Baker had Arcane in position to hit him with a lariat but Arcane ducked and began a fist fight with Baker. Baker won the exchange and left Arcane with a bloody lip. Arcane spit blood onto Baker’s boots which infuriated Baker. Baker’s anger left him exposed for Arcane to avoid the attack and start to make a comeback.

Arcane kept on the attack and wore down Baker before landing a running bulldog. Arcane covered for a pin to win the match.

Cole Arcane stood tall in the ring and looked ready to challenge Tornado for the MoW Championship.

Fortune and Diamonds

MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson stood in the ring and addressed the crowd at the close of the show. Johnson said that System Crash was shaping up to be a great supershow but MoW Champion Shannon Worth was without an opponent. Johnson expressed his disgust at The Diamond Peak’s actions last week and wished Cate Stiles a speedy and full recovery. Johnson said that with Stiles out with a broken leg, choosing a challenger for Worth was a little easier. Johnson called out the new number one contender, Kassidy Fortune.

Fortune came to the ring, shook hands with Johnson, and then took the microphone as Johnson left her alone in the ring. Fortune called Worth and The Diamond Peak cowards for what they did to Stiles and tried to do to her. Fortune said she was still standing and will be standing at System Crash as the new MoW Champion.

The Diamond Peak hadn’t shown backstage but that didn’t mean Fortune was safe. A masked attacker entered the ring from the crowd and hit Fortune from behind. The attacker pulled off the mask and revealed herself as MoW Champion Shannon Worth. Worth roughed up Fortune before getting a steel chair and placing Fortune’s ankle in it. Worth was about to stomp on the chair but was interrupted as Jax Rivers ran to the ring.

Rivers cornered Worth against a turnbuckle and berated her for injuring his wife. Worth looked nervous and tried to talk herself out of the situation. Rivers told Worth that he would destroy the entire Diamond Peak and Worth began to plead with him to let her go.

Suddenly, Rivers was grabbed from behind and spun around. Killer Malone had snuck into the ring and blasted Rivers with a knockout punch. Rivers fell to the mat in a heap. Worth laughed and looked over at Fortune as she recovered in an opposite corner. Worth left the ring with Malone behind her leaving the audience questioning this new alliance.
