The Door (Malcom and Richter) vs. The Badlands Boyz (Bill Stanton and The Convict)

The show kicked off with a hard-hitting match between two of the toughest teams in MoW. The Door was out to establish themselves as a top tag team and came out strong against their veteran opponents. The Convict found himself at the mercy of a quick and dirty assault by Malcom and Richter.

Malcom took a headbutt to the face that stunned him, allowing The Convict to make a tag to Bill Stanton, who came into the ring and cleared house. Stanton almost picked up a win for his team by covering Malcom after a vicious DDT, but Malcom kicked out to keep the match going.

Malcom made a short comeback against Stanton and tagged in Richter. Richter got the best of Stanton before hitting him with a leaping DDT. Richter covered and pinned Stanton to win the match and giving The Door a high profile win on their MoW Horizon debut.

The Challenge I Want

MoW Correspondent Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with Tracy Blood. Kennedy started the interview by asking if it was true that Blood’s brother, Mark Blood, had left MoW. Blood confirmed that Mark was no longer in MoW but before Kennedy could follow up Blood stressed that her brother was gone but she was still here. Blood said this was her time.

Kennedy followed along and asked Blood what she had in mind for the System Crash supershow, which was one week away. Blood talked about being a world-class kickboxer, a former RFW Valkyrie Champion, a former MoW Champion, and called herself the greatest pure fighter in MoW. Blood said a great fighter needs a great opponent and had been looking for a new challenge. Blood told Kennedy that she found the challenge she was looking for and then called out Kagero Sato.

Blood said she was familiar with Sato’s work in Japan, watched her compete on MoW Rapid Fire, and needed to know what it felt like to lock up with her. Blood told Sato to be ready because she was going to kick her in the face at System Crash.

Allegiance

A volatile Jax Rivers climbed into the ring with a microphone. Rivers said he has a wife at home with a shattered leg, his jaw is bruised, his head is full of questions, and the cause of it all is The Diamond Peak. Rivers said that he was most confused by Killer Malone knocking him out last week on Horizon and called Malone to the ring to explain why he helped Shannon Worth.

Killer Malone came to the ring flanked by The Diamond Peak leader, Claudia Winter. Winter spoke for Malone and said that a lot of eyes were opened when Shannon Worth became MoW Champion. Winter applauded Worth’s victory but took credit for creating opportunities to get Worth a title match. Winter praised Malone for his talents and said the only piece he was missing was someone to get him more opportunities. Winter called Malone smart because he approached her about representing him and joining The Diamond Peak so he could become MoW Champion.

Rivers sarcastically called Winter an inspiration before questioning what any of that had to do with him. Winter told Rivers that he placed Shannon Worth, her champion, in a dangerous situation last week when he confronted her and Malone was taking care of a fellow Diamond Peak member.

Rivers turned his attention to Malone and warned him that he got into business with the wrong person. Rivers said he was going to destroy The Diamond Peak and suggested Malone step away before it was too late. Malone stood his ground. Winter welcomed Rivers to try to break The Diamond Peak and told him he could start by facing Killer Malone in a match at System Crash. Rivers happily accepted the match. Winter told him she admired his heart but it was going to get him a lengthy recuperation at home next to his wife.

The Runaway

Carolina Deene was walking around backstage when she ran into Maria Estrella. Deene started to back away saying she didn’t want any trouble but found Jessie Vega was behind her. Deene tried to explain to Estrella and Vega that she felt bad about attacking both of them with a chair on last week’s Horizon and asked for forgiveness.

Estrella and Vega looked at each other and eased up which calmed Deene. Deene began to lay it on thick and suggested the three of them could be good friends. Vega considered the idea, agreed it would be nice to get along, but said they would have to work on that after System Crash. Deene asked what she meant. Vega informed Deene that they were scheduled to face each other in a match at System Crash. Estrella added that she was going to be at ringside to make sure that Deene didn’t run off again.

Deene got nervous and backed away. Vega and Estrella grinned as they watched Deene retreat.

The Champion on the Challenger

MoW Champion Tornado stepped into the ring to talk about his upcoming title defense against Cole Arcane at System Crash. Tornado discussed how important being champion was to him before addressing Arcane. Tornado recapped Arcane’s nearly year-long reign as MoW Champion and admitted that he deserved a title shot more than anyone. Tornado said he was happy Arcane would get a chance to get his rematch but added that it was only an opportunity. Tornado said he had no intention of losing at System Crash.

Arcane interrupted the champion and circled around Tornado before speaking. Arcane said that a champion should be confident and he’s happy that he will get a true challenge in Tornado at System Crash. Tornado nodded in agreement. Arcane held up a finger and clarified that being MoW Champion meant everything to him and validated all the hard work he put in to rise higher than anyone ever thought he could. He would not fail to become champion a second time. Tornado made it clear that only one of them can walk away as MoW Champion and, although he respected Arcane and his fight to the top, Tornado had no intention of going home empty handed.

Arcane and Tornado had a tense staredown before Arcane motioned that he was leaving the ring to Tornado. Arcane began to leave the ring as Tornado’s music began to play. Tornado posed for the audience but was quick to look back at Arcane. Arcane was watching from the ring ropes but stepped through and walked away as Tornado kept his gaze on him.

Unbroken

A prerecorded interview was shown of Kimberly Kennedy visiting Cate Stiles, who was resting at her home with a broken leg. Kennedy asked the bedridden Stiles how she was feeling. Stiles talked about the surgery to repair her leg and initial fears that her career could be over. Kennedy asked if there had been an update on her chances of returning to the ring and Stiles immediately responded that she was going to make a full recovery and would be back in MoW “in time”.

Stiles said she hurt a lot of her opponents and admitted that she might have deserved what happened to her. This didn’t mean she was giving Shannon Worth a pass, however. Stiles promised she was coming back to MoW and would break Worth’s body, her spirit, and then her heart when she takes back the MoW Championship.

Kennedy thanked Stiles for the time, hoped for a speedy recovery, and looked forward to seeing her again in the MoW ring.

The Diamond Peak (Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent) w/Claudia Winter vs. Balance and Ridge

The Diamond Peak faced their old rivals Balance and Ridge in their last stop before challenging Andre Jordan and Snarl for the MoW Team Championship at System Crash.

Ridge came out strong at the start of the match and worked with Balance to keep the number one contenders on the defensive. Claudia Winter regrouped with her team to coach them. The words of wisdom helped because Pierre Laurent turned the momentum in his team’s favor and began a long, torturous attack on Balance.

Balance fought back and tried to make a tag to Ridge but was cut off. The Diamond Peak resorted to distractions allowing them to get in cheap shots or using the ropes for more leverage. Balance ducked a clothesline from Preston Montgomery and returned with one of his own allowing him to make the tag to a fiery Ridge. Ridge took down Montgomery and stopped an invading Laurent with a drop kick that sent him through the ropes to the floor.

Ridge’s offense led him to getting Montgomery in position and climbing the turnbuckle to use a shooting star press. Laurent crawled into the ring but was intercepted by the referee. Winter removed her heels and stood on the ring apron, threatening to spike Ridge with one of the shoes. Winter was stopped by Balance but the act was enough to distract Ridge giving Montgomery time to get to his feet, climb the turnbuckle, and superplex Ridge to the mat.

Laurent dragged Montgomery with him to his corner, Montgomery tagged out, and Laurent rushed back in to hit Ridge with a flying forearm before pinning him for the victory.

The Diamond Peak were declared the winners and celebrated in the ring with Claudia Winter.

The Diamond Peak’s System Crash Plan

Claudia Winter took a microphone and invited MoW Champion Shannon Worth and Killer Malone to join her. With The Diamond Peak together in the ring, Winter told the audience to look at who she had assembled. Winter proclaimed Worth’s championship reign would last long after her match with Kassidy Fortune and come System Crash, the MoW Team Championship belts will be carried by Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent. Winter nodded to Killer Malone and said that the final piece was in place for The Diamond Peak to rule supreme over MoW, promising Malone’s eventual MoW Championship reign.

Winter looked to Balance and Ridge as they recovered outside the ring and told Montgomery and Laurent to send a message to the tag team division. Montgomery and Laurent began to assault their defeated opponents which brought out MoW Team Champions Andre Jordan and Snarl with Lucia Mendez at their side.

The champions began to fight with Montgomery and Laurent but Malone joined the brawl against the champions. Mendez yelled to Winter to make her goons back off and Winter and Worth began to approach her for a double team.

Kassidy Fortune ran down to ringside to give Mendez support and all four women began to fight. Fortune slammed Worth into the ring steps while Mendez chased Winter around ringside. Malone was slugging away at Snarl when Jax Rivers ran down to ringside and tackled him.

Jordan and Snarl fought off Montgomery and Laurent, Malone and Rivers brawled into the crowd, Worth ran off from a fired up Fortune and pulled Winter away with her. Jordan, Snarl, and Mendez regrouped at ringside and helped Balance and Ridge to their feet. Fortune stood on the ring apron and watched Worth and Winter escape. Rivers and Malone continued to brawl until they disappeared into a backstage area.
