The Navigators (Aidan North and Pete Arrow) vs. Balance and Ridge

Tag team action opened the show with longtime MoW tag team, The Navigators, taking on the veteran team of Balance and Ridge. Both teams shared a respectful handshake before Balance and Pete Arrow tied up in the center of the ring.

Arrow overpowered Balance before he and Aidan North began frequent tags to maintain offense on Balance. Balance used a low dropkick to Arrow’s legs giving him an opportunity to reach Ridge for a tag. Ridge exploded into the ring taking out The Navigators before hyping up the crowd as he marched around the canvas.

Ridge’s quick offense beat out Arrow’s strength advantage and he used a shooting star press on Arrow before going for a pin. North broke up the pin. Ridge stay on offense until Arrow caught him off the ropes and dropped him with a sidewalk slam.

Arrow tagged in North which began a back and forth trade of tosses and high flying acrobatics between North and Ridge. North was bested by Ridge before Ridge tagged in Balance. Balance continued momentum until he tried for a lifting DDT that North escaped.

North fought off Balance and used an inziguri to knock Balance down. Both men crawled to their corners and tagged their partners. Ridge and Arrow battled back and forth until Ridge tried for a hurricanrana that Arrow stopped and converted into a powerbomb. Arrow covered Ridge for a pin and won the match.

The Navigators celebrated their win, motioning that they were coming for the MoW Team Championships.

Andre Jordan w/Lucia Mendez vs. The Convict w/Bill Stanton

Andre Jordan was in singles action against The Convict. The Convict thumbed Jordan’s eye early on which gave him an advantage throughout the early minutes of the match.

The Convict tried for a spike piledriver but Jordan countered and began to fight back. The Convict rolled out of the ring after Jordan slammed him with a German suplex and regrouped with his tag partner, Bill Stanton. Jordan wasn’t willing to give The Convict breathing room and ran outside the ring to brawl. Stanton stepped away and returned with a steel chair. Stanton was about to hit Jordan with the chair but it was pulled him his grasp by Jordan’s girlfriend, Lucia Mendez. Mendez slapped Stanton across the face and Jordan slammed his head into the ring steps.

Back in the ring, Jordan used a belly to belly suplex on The Convict and pinned him for the victory.

The Challenger’s Mission

Killer Malone was backstage with Claudia Winter speaking to the audience via a camera. Malone talked about working harder than everyone else for over a decade and knew the time had come for the hard work to pay off and become MoW Champion.

Winter said that Malone has been champion material for a long time and just needed someone to help him get opportunities.

Malone said that he had nothing against Tornado but he is the unfortunate soul holding the prize and Malone vows to take it from him.

The Champion’s Response

Elsewhere backstage, MoW correspondent Kimberly Kennedy spoke to current MoW Champion, Tornado. Kennedy asked Tornado about the statement Killer Malone had just made. Tornado said that Malone has been around a long time and questioned why he needed Claudia Winter to get him to the main event scene when so many others did it on their own.

Tornado said that he, too, fought hard over his career, climbed the ranks, taken the MoW Championship, and is confident that he can defend the title against anyone, including Malone.

Mysterie vs. Mia Mercury

Mia Mercury made her debut in MoW after having to sit out earlier this year with a knee injury. Mercury’s first opponent was MoW’s resident luchador, Mysterie.

Mercury matched Mysterie’s high speed offense making the opening minutes of the match an exciting display of traded acrobatic moves. Mercury got the advantage and sent Mysterie flying across the ring with a hurricanrana. Mysterie ducked out of the ring while Mercury, excited to be back in the ring, hyped up the crowd.

Mysterie returned to the ring and was quick to strike Mercury’s bad knee to get an advantage. Mysterie was aggressive in her attack and kept Mercury grounded where she found herself at a disadvantage. Mysterie climbed the turnbuckle following a neckbreaker and dove off with a corkscrew splash. Mercury rolled out of the way leaving Mysterie with a hard impact on the canvas.

Mercury pulled herself to her feet and began to fight back against Mysterie. Mercury subdued Mysterie with a face buster, climbed the turnbuckle and landed on Mysterie with a flying elbow drop. Mercury covered for a pin and was victorious in her first MoW appearance.

Mia Mercury celebrated in the ring and was enthusiastic to pump the crowd.

Strange Bedfellows

Rex Anarchy barged into a locker room to find Cole Arcane sitting on a bench. Arcane was quick to stand up and meet his longtime rival eye-to-eye. Anarchy praised Arcane for being a great MoW Champion and was rooting for him in his attempt to reclaim it at System Crash.

Arcane thanked Anarchy but asked what the real reason for finding him was. Anarchy said that the MoW Championship scene has moved on for now but felt that he and Arcane could team up and go for the MoW Team Championship.

Arcane questioned Anarchy’s motives but Anarchy insisted he had some to respect Arcane and saw and opportunity for them of them to be champions again. Arcane looked wary of the alliance but agreed to team up. Anarchy was pleased but Arcane warned him not to double cross him.

Jessie Vega w/Maria Estrella vs. “Undeniable” Chez Everett

Jessie Vega came to the ring with Maria Estrella at her side for a match with “Undeniable” Chez Everett. Everett overcame Vega early in the match, wearing down the pop star’s back.

Estrella cheered on her partner outside the ring when Vega countered a short arm clothesline and began building her own offense with high impact moves off the ropes. Vega tried to pin Everett a few times but Everett was determined to stay in the match.

Vega had Everett on the mat following an atomic drop and was about to climb the turnbuckle for a frogsplash when she saw Dezzy Nightshade run down the aisle and strike Estrella from behind. Nightshade slammed Estrella into the steel steps. Vega was about to climb through the ropes to help Estrella but was grabbed from behind by Everett who dropped Vega with a neckbreaker. Everett pinned Vega to win the match.

Everett stood victorious but the attention was outside the ring where Vega had recovered, rolled out of the ring, and came to the aid of her girlfriend while Nightshade retreated, grinning at the damage she caused while standing at a distance in the aisle.

One Step Away

Aurora Starkey came down to the ring to talk about her win over MoW Champion Shannon Worth on MoW Rapid Fire, earning her a title shot at the War on the Shore supershow. Starkey talked about traveling the world to win championships and nothing meant more to her than when she was MoW Champion. Starkey came back to MoW to regain the title and was now only one step away.

Starkey was interrupted by Claudia Winter and MoW Champion Shannon Worth. Winter felt sorry for Starkey because she came back to MoW at the wrong time. Winter said with Worth holding the highest prize, nobody else was going to touch the championship for a long, long time.

Starkey thought that Winter had far too much faith in her current pet project which angered Worth. Worth grabbed the microphone from Winter’s hand and told her it was a mistake to doubt her. Worth promised that she will defeat Starkey and use her to show the world that she should never be doubted.

Starkey and Worth had a stare down before Winter, cautiously, broke Worth away and left the ring with her champion.

Tracy Blood vs. Kagero Sato

The main event featured Tracy Blood and Kagero Sato in a rematch from System Crash. The woman sparred with kicks before Blood took Sato down with a leg sweep and started twisted on Sato’s leg.

Blood continued a slow, but effective, attack on Sato’s leg, trying to get the Japanese star to submit. Sato forced herself out of submissions and tried to fight back but Blood hit her with a barrage of knees strikes on the mat. Blood climbed on top of Sato and began clubbing her with punches. Sato looked to be in trouble but got her guard up, blocked a punch, and pulled Blood’s arm in for a wrist lock.

Blood escaped the hold but felt the effects, allowing Sato follow up on offense. Sato kept on Blood’s arm and when Blood tried to stop Sato with a kick, Sato grabbed Blood’s leg and began attacking her knee. Blood found herself trapped in a series of painful submissions as Sato tried to get her to give up.

Blood clubbed Sato in the temple with her heel and was able to free herself of Sato’s intense submissions. Sato and Blood went back to striking each other and Sato ran off the ropes for a dropkick. Blood caught Sato’s legs and converted the dropkick attempt into a Boston crab. Sato struggled to free herself but was able to break out of the hold. Sato tried to get back into control but a head kick from Blood took her down. Blood pinned Sato to win the match.

Tracy Blood was roughed up and limped around the ring while holding her arm close to her chest but grinned as her other arm was raised in victory. Kagero Sato collected herself on the outside as she watched Blood.
