Rus Samson vs. Big Time Stratton
The show opened with veteran indie wrestler Big Time Stratton taking on MoW’s up-and-coming big man, Rus Samson. Samson overpowered Stratton early on. Samson missed a clothesline when Stratton ducked but Stratton, tapping on his head to signal to the crowd that he was smart, missed Samson’s follow-up clothesline on the rebound.
Samson lifted Stratton for a gorilla press but Stratton escaped and suplexed Samson. Stratton focused attacks on Samson’s back but it wasn’t long before Samson shrugged off Stratton and flattened him with a sidewalk slam. Samson pinned Stratton to win the match.
Bill Stanton vs. Oleg Azarov
Bill Stanton and Oleg Azarov took their regular singles match in a violent direction. Azarov got the better of Stanton early on but Stanton hit Azarov with a hard elbow to the head, splitting Azarov’s head open.
Stanton wasted no time driving knuckles into the wound and stomping on Azarov’s head. Azarov fought back, turning the match into a fist fight. Stanton was hit in the jaw and staggered backward, falling through the ropes to the outside.
Azarov followed Stanton outside the ring and rammed him into the ring post. Stanton was now bleeding but continued to brawl with Azarov while occasionally wiping blood from his eyes. Stanton suplex Azarov on the steel steps causing the Russian to yell out in pain. Stanton rolled Azarov into the ring where the two brutes continued their back and forth assault until Stanton used a spike DDT to subdue his opponent. Stanton covered Azarov with a pin to be the victor in a bloody battle.
Balance and Ridge vs. Matt Griffin and ???
Balance and Ridge stood by while Matt Griffin spoke to the audience concerning his search for a new partner. Griffin was pleased to welcome Hector Diaz in his corner.
Griffin and Diaz worked well together throughout the match and held their own against their more experienced opponents. Balance gained the upper hand on Griffin and nearly had the match won but Griffin tagged in a refreshed Diaz who turned the tide for his team. Diaz was fired up and had Balance where he wanted him but Griffin slapped Diaz on the back to tag himself in. Diaz looked upset as Griffin tried to steal the glory for his team.
Griffin’s plans didn’t work out, however, as Balance was able to stop him, tag in Ridge, and together Balance and Ridge made quick work of Griffin before Balance pinned him to win the match.
Balance and Ridge celebrated their win before leaving. Matt Griffin was upset with Hector Diaz and dismissed him as his partner.
Sheena vs. Meghan DeWitt
The undefeated Sheena expected to plow through Meghan DeWitt but the budding wrestler and mixed martial artist hybrid caught her by surprise.
Sheena overpowered DeWitt early on but was rocked by a flurry of strikes that sent her backpedaling. DeWitt charged in hot, pelting Sheena with kicks to the thighs, midsection, and ribs before tossing her to the mat with a hip toss into an armbar. Sheena escaped but looked stunned at DeWitt’s performance. DeWitt looked confident as she continued to get the upper hand on Sheena.
Sheena took a hard Irish whip into the turnbuckle and stumbled forward where DeWitt grabbed her from behind and locked in a cobra clutch. DeWitt held on as Sheena tried to toss her aside. Sheena fell to her knees and started to lose strength. DeWitt held on tight but Sheena dug deep, getting to her feet with one last burst of energy. Sheena forced herself to the ropes to break the hold with DeWitt on her back.
DeWitt hit Sheena with more body shots but Sheena caught a kick and whipped DeWitt off to the side. DeWitt held her knee and was slow to get up. Sheena charged at DeWitt and hit her with a running boot. Sheena pinned DeWitt to win the match.
Sheena stood victorious but hurting, a rare sight, thanks to Meghan DeWitt’s attacks.
Andre Jordan w/Lucia Mendez vs. John Austin Baker
Andre Jordan stepped into the ring with one of Rapid Fire’s mainstays, John Austin Baker. Jordan kept ahead of Baker with some impressive tosses and mat wrestling. Baker prevented a vertical suplex and reversed it into one of his own to stop Jordan’s momentum.
Baker used his roughhouse offense to wear down Jordan. Baker hit Jordan hard with attacks before using a powerbomb to subdue him. Baker covered for a pin but Jordan kicked out. Lucia Mendez cheered on Jordan from the outside which eventually got the attention of Baker. Baker yelled at Mendez to keep quiet but the feisty Mexican got louder and tried to rally the fans to cheer Jordan on.
Baker became tired of Mendez’s cheerleading and climbed out to ringside to confront her. Baker got in Mendez’s face but Mendez held her ground. Baker took his eyes off Jordan who ran out of the ring and attacked him, starting a brawl at ringside.
Jordan rolled Baker back into the ring where the match continued. Baker tried to hit Jordan with a suprise lariat but Jordan dodged, grabbed Baker and slammed him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Jordan covered with a pin to win the match. Andre Jordan was declared the winner of the match.
Kami King vs. Kassidy Fortune
Two of MoW’s brightest stars met in the main event. Kami King and Kassidy Fortune shook hands before locking up. The women went back and forth trading throws and running the ropes. Fortune hit King with a drop kick to stop King’s momentum and begin to control the offense in the match.
Fortune showed off why she was the star of Wildheart Wrestling Club as she was laser focused on wearing King down. King slipped free of a DDT and tried for a surprise super kick but Fortune ducked and suplexed King in return. Fortune dropped King face first into a turnbuckle and followed up with a cutter. Fortune covered King with a pin that would have won her the match had King not gotten her foot on the bottom rope. Fortune dragged King away from the ropes and tried for another pin but King kicked out.
Fortune continued her offense against King until King rolled Fortune into a small package for a pin. Fortune kicked out but in her frustration she let her guard down giving King a chance to get back into the fight.
King fought back and gained momentum. King hit Fortune with a series of clotheslines followed by a dropkick that had her dazed as she got to her feet. King tried for a super kick but Fortune dodged. Fortune attempted to drop King with a cutter but King pushed her away and then connected with another super kick. King covered Fortune with a pin to win the match.
Kami King stood victorious as the show closed.
