Gold, Diamonds, and Calamity

The show opened with The Diamond Peak entering the ring to address their upcoming matches at War on the Shore. Claudia Winter spoke for her crew, letting the audience know that they are looking at the top stars in all pro wrestling. Winter described MoW Champion Shannon Worth as the greatest women’s wrestler in history and will deal with Aurora Starkey at War on the Shore, sending her back into the hole she came from. Winter described MoW Team Champions Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent as the fastest rising stars in the business and a tag team MoW can finally be proud of, vowing to keep the titles away from former champions, The Navigators. Winter then looked to Killer Malone and declared him the next MoW Champion, predicting his win over current MoW Champion Tornado at War on the Shore.

Winter challenged anyone to deny her, and right on cue, The Navigators came down to ringside. Aidan North applauded The Diamond Peak for their accomplishments but questioned Winter’s praise for her group, particularly Montgomery and Laurent, whom he described as an unproven team. Montgomery argued with North, causing both teams to have a stare down.

Worth asked The Navigators if they were dumb enough to take on four people. Starkey came down to the ring to help even the odds, starting a shoving match with Worth. The Navigators, Montgomery, and Laurent began to push each other, causing Malone to step in.

Tornado ran down to the ring to make the sides even, leaping off the top rope and nailing Malone with a double axe handle. Everyone began brawling in the ring while Winter fled the ring and watched her team do battle with their War on the Shore opponents.

MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson stepped into the arena and demanded the fighting stop. Johnson hoped everyone would wait until War on the Shore but since they can’t keep from fighting each other, he declared the main event of the evening would be The Diamond Peak vs. Tornado, Aurora Starkey, and The Navigators.

Meghan DeWitt vs. Kami King

The opening match featured Kami King taking on Meghan DeWitt in singles action. King was caught off guard by DeWitt’s swift kicks.

DeWitt grounded King and tried to keep her down on the mat with submissions but King was able to break free and catch DeWitt in a crossface. King began to build momentum but DeWitt would break in with some offense of her own. King caught DeWitt with a superkick and covered for a pin. Kami King won the match despite the determination of Meghan DeWitt.

An Unwanted Welcome Party

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage for an interview with MoW’s newest star, Mia Mercury. Kennedy welcomed the Wildheart Wrestling Club star to MoW and congratulated her on her winning debut last week. Mercury said it took her a long time to get to MoW but she was ready to take the place by storm.

Carolina Deene stepped in on the interview and looked Mercury up and down. Deene congratulated Mercury on coming back from her knee injury and making it to MoW, then remembered that Mercury injured her knee in a match with Deene.

Mercury said she hadn’t forgotten and surprised Deene by announcing that she will get an opportunity to face Deene again because Tiger Johnson setup a match between the two at War on the Shore. Deene poorly hid her dissatisfaction about the match but said she was looking forward to it and hoped Mercury’s knee would hold up.

One More to Settle the Score

Kagero Sato was in the locker room stretching when she was confronted by Tracy Blood. Blood said the score was even between Sato and herself, acknowledging Sato as a great competitor like everyone said, but admitted it wasn’t good enough for her. Blood wanted the world to know that she was better than Sato.

Sato shrugged and stood face to face with Blood, suggesting they figure out who is the best at War on the Shore. Blood extended a hand that Sato cautiously accepted. Blood warned Sato that she will kick Sato’s head into the ocean before releasing her grip. Sato stared as Blood walked out of the locker room.

Throwing Shade

Dezzy Nightshade sat on the steps of a stairwell somewhere deep in the arena. Nightshade explained her attack on Maria Estrella last week was because of Jessie Vega. Nightshade was sickened by Vega’s success despite lack of signing and wrestling talent. Nightshade wondered what was wrong with the world to allow hollow people like Vega relevant.

Nightshade wanted to punish Vega’s fans by hurting her biggest fan, Maria Estrella. Nightshade and Estrella have a match at War on the Shore and Nightshade promised to make it an unpleasant night for Estrella and Vega.

Cutting the Line

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with Cole Arcane and Rex Anarchy who have formed an surprising alliance. The new team explained that despite their long rivalry they see an opportunity to work together. Anarchy said the goal is simple, they want to become the next MoW Team Champions.

The Door, Malcom and Richter, cut off Anarchy, hijacked the interview and pushed back on the idea they could wander into the tag team division and expect to get a title shot. Malcom explained that The Door arrived in MoW to secure their place at the top and the door to glory was closed to the likes of Arcane and Anarchy.

Anarchy reminded The Door that he and Arcane are both former MoW Champions and was not letting a flimsy door hold them back. Arcane said they will kick down The Door at War on the Shore.

Tornado, Aurora Starkey, and The Navigators (Aidan North and Pete Arrow) vs. The Diamond Peak (Shannon Worth, Killer Malone, Preston Montgomery, and Pierre Laurent) w/Claudia Winter

The main event mixed tag match featured all of MoW’s champions in one ring. Tornado squared off his War on the Shore challenger Killer Malone. Tornado hip tossed Malone and ran the ropes but was kicked in the back by Shannon Worth. Malone took advantage of the situation and attacked the champion.

Aurora Starkey wasn’t going to let Worth’s go unanswered. Starkey snuck around the ring and pulled Worth off the apron where she slammed the champion into the barricade. Claudia Winter tried to stop Starkey but was given a spinebuster to the floor for her troubles. Starkey and Worth brawled outside the ring while the action continued in the ring.

Pete Arrow threw Preston Montgomery over the ropes taking Pierre Laurent with him to the floor. Aidan North dove off the top turnbuckle onto Montgomery and Laurent. Malone confronted Arrow but was double teamed by Tornado. The referee tried to get control of the match one cluster of fights at a time.

Montgomery re-entered the ring and tagged in Malone who laid waste to Arrow, North, and Tornado. Malone stood in his team’s corner and sized up Arrow for a knockout punch. The strong man of The Navigators dodged the punch and powerbombed Malone in response. Arrow tagged in Tornado who launched himself onto Malone with a corkscrew splash. Tornado went for a pin but Laurent broke the attempt.

Malone tagged in Laurent during a brawl in the ring. Laurent tried to best Tornado, but the champion worked with The Navigators to subdue him. Tornado used a corkscrew splash on Laurent and pinned him while The Navigators held off Montgomery and Malone. Worth was powerbombed onto the ring apron the referee’s hand hit the mat for the three count.

Tornado, Aurora Starkey, and The Navigators gave each other high fives and celebrated their win. The celebration was shortlived, however. The Diamond Peak regrouped and attacked their opponents from behind. Tornado fought off Montgomery and Laurent but was hit with a knockout punch by Malone. Worth nailed Starkey with the MoW Championship belt. The show closed with The Diamond Peak standing above their fallen rivals.
