The Diamond Peak Victory Celebration

The show opened with The Diamond Peak, wearing expensive dresses and suits, coming to the ring holding all the titles in MoW. Claudia Winter looked proud as she looked at Shannon Worth, Killer Malone, Preston Montgomery, and Pierre Laurent before addressing the crowd.

Winter said she came to MoW looking to align herself with the best wrestlers in the world and proclaimed that the people standing the ring are the best. Winter hugged MoW Champion Shannon Worth and said it all started with her. They have accomplished much together and will continue to for years to come.

Winter stood between MoW Team Champions Preston Montgomery and Pierre Laurent and talked about MoW’s competitive tag team division and how she handpicked the true diamonds from the cheap knockoffs. Winter told Montgomery and Laurent that she was proud of them and, with her guidance, will have long, bright futures.

Winter stepped in front of new MoW Champion Killer Malone and shook his hand. She stood beside him and said that Malone had been passed over for too long. Winter argued that Malone’s career was world championship worthy long ago and now the world knows what she has for a long time. Winter thanked Malone for being part of The Diamond Peak and sees him having a long title reign because no one can measure up to him.

Winter introduced The Diamond Peak as the future of MoW and the measuring stick for professional wrestling.

Kagero Sato vs. “Undeniable” Chez Everett

Two former Wildheart Wrestling Club Champions battled in the opening match. Kagero Sato was focused and deliberate in her offense throughout the match but found a worthy opponent in Chez Everett. Everett broke through Sato’s submissions and holds and matched her with quick strikes and takedowns.

Everett was rocked by a jawbreaker and Sato fired up a comeback before forcing Everett into submission with an octopus hold. Kagero Sato stood victorious.

Number One Contenders Matches Announced

MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson came to the ring to address the audience. Johnson congratulated The Diamond Peak and admitted they are the best MoW has to offer. He said the best deserves to battle the best and he announced there would be MoW Championship number one contenders matches happening on next week’s Horizon.

Maria Estrella, Kami King, Kagero Sato, Mia Mercury, and Kassidy Fortune will compete in a five-woman elimination match. The winner will challenge Shannon Worth for the MoW Championship at Final Round.

Jax Rivers, Rex Anarchy, Andre Jordan, Cole Arcane, and Rus Samson will compete in a five-man elimination match for the right to challenge Killer Malone for the MoW Championship at Final Round.

Inspiration

Meghan DeWitt saw Tracy Blood backstage and approached her. DeWitt told Blood that because of last summer’s Beach Brawl event that Blood hosted, she has taken an interest in martial arts and her training has helped her wrestling career. DeWitt is grateful to Blood for the opportunity.

Blood was not impressed. She criticized DeWitt for being a wannabe fighter and called her out her ring attire as a copy of her own. DeWitt looked hurt but then challenged Blood to a match to prove she is a legitimate fighter. Blood refused, saying DeWitt needed to prove herself first, and then walked off.

Throwback

Several wrestlers in the men’s locker room were seen passing around an old wrestling magazine from the 1990s featuring highlights of Hardcore Adam’s tag team career in SCSF. Adam walked in, saw the magazine, and began to reminisce about the old days before admitting those days were behind him.

Tornado overheard his mentor and disagreed. Tornado said Adam has more to give and suggested they team up together. Adam considered, then agreed, saying it would be fun.

The Door (Malcom and Richter) vs. Balance and Ridge

The Door showed up looking for something to prove against the veteran team of Balance and Ridge. Balance and Ridge showed their experience early on and got the better of Malcom with fast attacks and frequent tags.

Ridge tried for a top rope forearm smash but Malcom caught him and drove him to the mat with a massive spinebuster. The Door began a massive comeback and though Ridge managed to tag in Balance, the younger team maintained their momentum, pinning Balance and winning the match.

World Tour

Maria Estrella was backstage with Jessie Vega and was excited about next week’s number one contender’s match. Estrella said this was her opportunity to get back on top of MoW. Vega supported her but looked concerned. Estrella noticed and asked Vega what was going on because she hasn’t been herself the last few days.

Vega explained that she was conflicted because she learned her tour in support of her new album will take her away most of next year. Vega expressed concern that she and Estrella will be apart for too long. Estrella suggested she go with Vega on tour but Vega pushed back, not wanting to stand in the way of Estrella’s own goals. Estrella, distraught, quietly asked what they were supposed to do.

Jax Rivers vs. Rex Anarchy w/Cole Arcane

Jax Rivers and Rex Anarchy, no strangers to each other, battled in the main event. Cole Arcane supported Anarchy at ringside. The match was even paced throughout the early minutes, though Rivers broke out with an offensive burst that found him getting a few near falls.

Anarchy fought back and overpowered Rivers. Anarchy had Rivers pinned following a fisherman buster but Rivers managed to kick out. Anarchy was shocked and got more aggressive with Rivers for kicking out but his aggression got the better of him. Rivers caught Anarchy with a flap jack and covered for a pin. Anarchy kicked out but Rivers kept up the fight, leading to a second flapjack, and a pinfall victory.

Jax Rivers celebrated his win before being confronted by Rex Anarchy and Cole Arcane. Rivers stood up to Anarchy and Arcane in advance of their clash next week in the number one contender match. The situation became heated and lead to Andre Jordan and Rus Samson coming down to ringside. All five men had a tense staredown in the ring but it ended without conflict as everyone dispersed. Rivers stood in the ring alone to close out the show.
