Alexandra Morgan vs. “Undeniable” Chez Everett

The show opened with a competitive match between Alexandra Morgan and “Undeniable” Chez Everett. Morgan showed a clear strength advantage, though Everett was determined not to let Morgan get the better of her.

Everett picked up a few near falls but Morgan fired back with a series of thunderous slams. Morgan looked to have victory within grasp but Everett made a late match comeback and pinned Morgan following a neckbreaker.

Rus Samson vs. The Convict

Rus Samson came out strong with an aggressive, powerful offense against The Convict. The Convict thumbed the eye of Samson to get a break but his efforts to capitalize on Samson were short lived. Samson forced The Convict to submission with the torture rack.

Kimberly Kennedy interviewed Rus Samson after the match and asked him about this thoughts coming up short in the number one contender’s match on last week’s Horizon show. Samson admitted he was disappointed but not discouraged. Samson promised his time would come.

Mia Mercury vs. Dezzy Nightshade

Mia Mercury made a hot entrance to MoW over the summer but Dezzy Nightshade had plans to cool her off when they met in singles action. Mercury tried to speed up the action but Nightshade continued to stop her. Nightshade crushed Mercury with slams but Mercury kicked out of pin attempts.

Nightshade tried for a brainbuster but Mercury escaped and started a high speed comeback, using the ropes as a springboard as she used splashes, dropkicks, and hurricanranas to stagger Nightshade. Mercury used a swinging neckbreaker on Nightshade before climbing the turnbuckle and using a flying elbow drop. Mercury won the match by pinfall.

Matt Griffin and Big Time Stratton vs. The Door (Malcom and Richter)

Matt Griffin came to the ring with his new tag team partner, Big Time Stratton. Griffin told the crowd he finally found a worthy partner in Stratton and they were championship bound. The Door stormed down to the ring before Griffin could say more.

The Door manhandled Griffin. Richter pummeled Griffin with strikes before tagging in Malcom who crushed Griffin into the mat with slams. Malcom used a backstabber on Griffin and covered him for a pin while Richter blocked Stratton from breaking the pin. The Door won in a quick, decisive match.

Big Time Stratton helped Matt Griffin to his feet and tried to comfort him after the loss. Griffin attacked Stratton, yelling that he didn’t do his job. Stratton withstood the attack and chased Griffin away.

Meghan DeWitt vs. Mysterie

The main event featured Meghan DeWitt taking on Mysterie. DeWitt was continuing her pursuit of earning a match with Tracy Blood and came out strong with a series of strikes on her masked opponent. Mysterie absorbed the blows and was rattled but caught DeWitt’s leg and flipped her to the mat. Mysterie began an aggressive attack on DeWitt’s leg.

Mysterie tried for a springboard forearm but DeWitt caught her arm and locked in an arm bar. Mysterie reached the rope to break the hold but DeWitt kept on the attack. DeWitt hit Mysterie with a flying knee but the strike further damaged her injured leg. DeWitt was slow to keep on the attack but attempted to finish Mysterie with a cobra clutch. Mysterie fought out of the hold before it could be fully locked in and began to fight back.

Mysterie knocked DeWitt into a corner with a dropkick and followed up with a body splash. DeWitt fell to the mat and Mysterie hopped to the top turnbuckle where she launched for a corkscrew splash. DeWitt rolled out of the way, causing Mysterie to land hard on the mat. DeWitt lined up her shot and struck Mysterie with another knee strike, this time using her uninjured leg. DeWitt covered for a pin but Mysterie kicked out. DeWitt locked in a second cobra clutch that Mysterie could not fight out of. Mysterie submitted and DeWitt was declared the winner.

Meghan DeWitt walked gingerly on her leg as she walked around the ring and celebrated. DeWitt took a microphone and sent a message to Tracy Blood. DeWitt said that she would be looking for Blood at the next MoW Horizon show in DeWitt’s hometown of Boston.
