Rapid Fire Wrestling #087 Results

MoW continued its summer season residency on the sands of Daytona Beach, FL.

Kassidy Fortune faced Kami King in the main event, Killer Malone addressed his new challenger, Cate Stiles vs. Carolina Deene, and much more.

Meghan DeWitt vs. Mysterie

The opening match featured action heavy on high flying and striking offense. Meghan DeWitt and Mysterie traded momentum throughout, though it was DeWitt who secured victory following a leaping knee strike while Mysterie soared through the air.

Beach Voyeur

Lucia Mendez emerged from the waters on a quiet section of beach into the arms of Andre Jordan. Watching from a distance with a pair of binoculars was Paul Priest. Priest commented that he must have Mendez work for him at his club. Delilah stood next to Priest and suggested he move on.

“You keep wanting Lucia Mendez but she isn’t interested and Jordan won’t have it. You don’t need her. You’ve already got the best girls. Like me!” -Delilah

Priest sighed, looked annoyed, and returned to his binoculars.

Oleg Azarov and Ruslan Panov vs. Eric Waves and Chucky Arter

Oleg Azarov and Ruslan Panov came to the ring for tag team action. Their opponents were free agent tag team Eric Waves and Chucky Arter who arrived by riding their surfboards onto shore from the ocean.

Fans were treated to competitive match and were cheering for both sides thanks to their familiarity with Azarov and Panov and the charm of Arter and Waves.

The action was intense near the finish and could have gone either way until Azarov caught Waves in the air and powerslammed him. Panov tagged in and hit Waves with curb stomps before pinning him for the victory.

MoW Champions NCSF came down to the ring while Ruslan Panov and Oleg Azarov were celebrating their win to offer a challenge.

“The two of you have been making your mark on the tag team division here and we think NCSF vs. Panov and Azarov next week for the MoW Team Championship sounds like a match we can’t pass up.” -Tornado

All four men shook hands to make the match official.

Alexandra Morgan vs. Siobhan Wild

MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson approached a beach campsite away from the festivities and found Alexandra Morgan and Rus Samson sunning themselves while Cool Spencer and Paisley Alden were eating cheese sandwiches in the shade of a tent. Johnson had a stern warning for Morgan, who had a match later in the show.

“I don’t know what you’ve all got going on here but Paisley never showed for her match last week. Alexandra, I’ve got you scheduled for a match with Siobhan Wild. And it is soon. I want you in that ring on time. No excuses. And there will be heavy consequences if you don’t. Am I making myself clear?” -Tiger Johnson

Morgan told Johnson not to be so uptight, committed to the match, and shooed Johnson away with her foot while continuing to soak up the sunshine.

Siobhan Wild stood in the ring waiting for her opponent. There was a commotion in the crowd caused by the arrival of Morgan, followed by Samson, Spencer, and Alden. All four were still wearing their swim suits and not wrestling attire.

Morgan stepped into the ring and dominated Wild with a powerful offense, defeating Wild by pinfall.

Morgan and her friends celebrated raucously from the ring, back through the crowd, and returned to their campsite.

Killer Malone Responds

Kimberly Kennedy met in the ring with MoW Champion Killer Malone to discuss the news that Pierre Laurent will be his challenger at Tidal Wave. Malone was glad to be away from The Diamond Peak but knew Claudia Winter would be coming for him.

“I can’t say I’m surprised that Winter pushed Laurent to the front of the line to do her dirty work. She can’t live with the fact that her precious Diamond Peak lost a lot of gold recently. I know Pierre Laurent and I know he is listening. So listen up, kid. I suggest you smarten up and walk away from Claudia Winter. Do it now, for your own sake, or you will suffer on her behalf.” -Killer Malone

A confident MoW Champion stood tall in the ring with the belt held high.

Carolina Deene vs. Cate Stiles

Cate Stiles came down to the ring dressed to wrestle with a mission. She grabbed a microphone and called out Carolina Deene.

“Put down your ice cream cone, take off your comically large sunglasses, change out of your flowery sundress, and come to the ring to see just how washed up Cate Stiles is.” -Cate Stiles

Deene came down to the ring in her wrestling gear looking offended. A referee showed up and the match began where Deene mostly tried to avoid Stiles. Deene fled to the outside after a suplex but Stiles caught up with her and body slammed her into the sand.

Deene slid back into the ring and begged for mercy as Stiles approached. Stiles got caught in a small package and though she kicked out, Deene moved quickly to capitalize. After a back and forth contest, Deene rolled up Stiles and had her feet on the ropes where the referee could not see and managed an upset victory.

Carolina Deene looked proud of her tainted victory but had little time to celebrate because Cate Stiles attacked and chased Deene from the ring. An annoyed Stiles couldn’t help but shrug to the audience.

Wrath of the Sea

Kimberly Kennedy met with Cole Arcane on the shoreline. As water splashed around them, Arcane was eager to express his relief that Rex Anarchy had been dealt with.

“Last week, I dumped that trash into the ocean and he floated away, never to be seen again. Hopefully he became shark food.” -Cole Arcane

Arcane continued to verbally run down Anarchy. Behind him, Anarchy emerged from the ocean with lengths of seaweed hanging from his shoulders. Anarchy had a maniacal grin on his face just before attacking Arcane from behind. The foes brawled in the sand briefly before Arcane escaped and ran off.

Kassidy Fortune vs. Kami King

The main event featured two of MoW’s top rising stars, Kami King and Kassidy Fortune. Fortune, who developed a new bitter attitude since losing the opportunity of becoming the first ever MoW Wildheart Champion, showed off a more vicious offense than fans were used to.

King nearly pinned or submitted Fortune throughout the match but Fortune’s aggression worked in her favor and Fortune won the match by pinfall after a cutter.

Kassidy Fortune celebrated her victory under the late day sun as they jabbered to all in earshot about taking down MoW Wildheart Champion Mia Mercury next.
