Car Crash Brawl

The show opened with a commotion outside where a car, rocking back and forth, barreled into the parking lot of the arena before smashing into a concrete barricade. The car belonged to Cole Arcane who spilled out of the door in a brawl with his passenger, Rex Anarchy. The two bitter rivals fought in the parking lot until security ran out to pull them apart.

Mary Jane Elder vs. Meghan DeWitt

The opening match saw Mary Jane Elder in action against Meghan DeWitt. DeWitt injured her mentor, Annika, in a brutal assault last week, leaving Annika with injured ribs and a broken nose.

DeWitt and Elder had a tough, competitive match with multiple near falls. DeWitt surprised Elder with a flying knee late in the match, however, and it was enough to help DeWitt get the pinfall victory.

Concerned

MoW Correspondent Kimberly Kennedy met backstage with Andre Jordan who was distraught over his girlfriend, Lucia Mendez, having to work for Paul Priest at his strip club.

Jordan revealed that he was barred from Priest’s club and that Mendez has distanced herself from him, though she assures him she is ok. Jordan said he hasn’t slept and wasn’t sure how much longer he could take it.

Kassidy Fortune vs. Siobhan Wild

The MoW Wildheart Champion was in action in a non-title match against Siobhan Wild. Wild had a strong offensive rally midway through the match but Fortune broke through Wild’s offense and pinned her following a cutter.

Kassidy Fortune walked around the ring with the MoW Wildheart Championship held up high and yelled to the crowd that she is the best wrestler in MoW.

The Return of Mikey Armstrong

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with a returning Mikey Armstrong. Kennedy asked him to explain his absence and Armstrong explained that he was injured at the Mad Season supershow in the spring and had been in a coma for most of the summer.

”It was touch and go for a while but I feel ready to return to the ring! There is just one problem. The doctors have not yet given me medical clearance. If it wasn’t for them and being worried about my safety, believe me, I would be in that ring tonight to perform in front of all the fans!” -Mikey Armstrong

A confused MoW Commisioner, Tiger Johnson, stepped in while scratching his chin. Johnson questioned everything Armstrong said, saying he never saw an injury reported nor was Armstrong listed on the disabled list. Johnson was glad Armstrong was ready for action and directed him to go to the ring to compete against “Badlands” Bill Stanton.

Mikey Armstrong vs. “Badlands” Bill Stanton

A hesitant Mikey Armstrong came to the ring to face Bill Stanton. Stanton roughed up Armstrong for much of the match and verbally blasted him for being “a wimp.”

Armstrong withstood the attacks and countered Stanton’s brawling with some suplexes. Armstrong used a pump handle suplex before pinning Stanton to win the match.

Lost Cause

Tiger Johnson held a meeting in his office with Cool Spencer, Alexandra Morgan, Rus Samson, and Paisley Alden. Johnson was irritated and demanded to know where the group had been since their suspension and why they missed the 30th Anniversary show last week.

Spencer told Johnson how they met with a shaman who identified the four of them as mighty warriors who will be rewarded by becoming MoW champions. Johnson stared at them and asked if anyone considered that this “shaman” was just some wrestling fan leading them on. All four looked at him confused.

Johnson proceeded to tell the group what he really thought of them.

“I admit, Spencer, Alden, I don’t see much in you. Never did. But Alexandra, I’ve known you since you were a little girl. Your dad would bring you to shows. You’re a good kid. And Rus, the ‘Big’ Rus Samson. I’m the one who suggested MoW bring you in and make you part of the roster. There’s a future in the two of you but if you aren’t careful, you are just going to end up a lost cause like the other two here.” -Tiger Johnson

Spencer’s head snapped up and he said that “Lost Cause” is a cool name and they should start calling themselves that. The group began cheering and ran off chanting “Lost Cause” leaving Johnson speechless.

The Diamond Peak Under Attack

Kimberly Kennedy met in the ring with Preston Montgomery. Montgomery was betrayed by The Diamond Peak but got a measure of revenge by ruining their plans at Tidal Wave back in August. Montgomery shared his current mindset.

“Pierre Laurent was my best friend. He betrayed me and it hurts. It really hurts. I’m all alone out here. But you know, it’s not him I blame. It’s her. Claudia Winter. I blame her for all of this! And make no mistake, Kimberly. Tidal Wave was just the beginning. I won’t spot thwarting her plans until she is miserable.” -Preston Montgomery

The Diamond Peak heard Montgomery and came to the ring to confront him. Winter called Montgomery the weak link in The Diamond Peak and it was his fault that he was no longer a member. Montgomery was then beaten down by Pierre Laurent and MoW Champion Shannon Worth.

Montgomery was outnumbered but Winter’s long time rival, Maria Estrella, ran down to break up the attack. Moments later, Cate Stiles ran down to further even the odds.

Stiles and Estrella cleared the ring and isolated Worth. Worth was powerslammed by Estrella and held in an ankle lock by Stiles. Worth was kicked out of the ring but the tension was not over. Both Stiles and Estrella picked up Worth’s MoW Championship belt and had a tense staredown as each woman tried to tug the belt away.

Mia Mercury vs. Mysterie

The main event of the evening saw former MoW Wildheart Champion Mia Mercury in action against Mysterie.

Both women put on a show with fast, high risk moves. Mysterie nearly put away Mercury following a top rope hurricanrana but Mercury kept herself in contention and worked herself back on offense. Mercury used her flying elbow drop before pinning Mysterie for the win.

Mia Mercury stood victorious and then grabbed a microphone.

“Hey Kassidy. Champ. We aren’t done. I’m coming for you and I’m coming to get my belt back.” -Mia Mercury

MoW announced after the show that Mia Mercury would challenge Kassidy Fortune for the MoW Wildheart Championship in the main event of next week’s show.
