Andre Jordan takes matters into his own hands, Tiger Johnson has a solution for the Rex Anarchy and Cole Arcane feud, Killer Malone and Mikey Armstrong meet in the main event, and multiple championship matches at Final Round take shape.

Attack on Priest’s Club

The show did not begin in Tulsa but outside the doors of Paul Priest’s strip club where Lucia Mendez has been forced to work for the past several weeks. Mendez’s boyfriend, Andre Jordan, had enough of the situation and approached the club despite contractual agreements not to.

Priest had his bouncers on high alert. The bouncers confronted Jordan but he fought them off. Jordan suplexed the final bouncer onto the concrete before charging into the club. Jordan looked around the room, seeing a woman he did not recognize on the stage and a miserable looking crowd. A door leading to a back room was flung open and Jordan watched as Priest’s favored girl, Delilah, fled from the doorway and ran out of the building.

Jordan stepped into the back room, prepared to fight Priest, but saw Mendez had snapped. Mendez had Priest knocked down while she screamed at him.

“I am done with this! I never should have agreed to this but you just wouldn’t leave us alone! You are the devil! El Diablo! I am leaving and don’t you ever come near me again or I swear—” -Lucia Mendez

Jordan approached Mendez and calmed her down. The two reunited in an embrace as Jordan assured her everything was ok. The couple left as an angry and embarrassed Priest watched.

Meghan DeWitt vs. Mysterie

One week removed from battling each other in a six-woman match, Meghan DeWitt and Mysterie met in singles competition. The match saw Mysterie using her high flying skills to her advantage but a ruthless DeWitt blasted her with kicks in response.

DeWitt tried to remove Mysterie’s mask and though she was not completely successful, the mask obscured Mysterie’s view allowing DeWitt to hit her with a flying knee strike. DeWitt won the match by pinfall.

DeWitt was greeted at ringside by MoW Correspondent Kimberly Kennedy. Kennedy noted DeWitt’s improved performance this season to which DeWitt credited her “friend” Annika for helping her train and encouraging her to get herself noticed.

DeWitt was shocked when Annika made her surprise return after recovering from injuries caused by DeWitt. Annika was appalled by DeWitt’s words.

“I don’t think I heard you right. You are crediting me with helping you? I told you to do something to stand out and you decided to stand out by brutally attacking me. Are you out of your mind?” -Annika

DeWitt tried to settle Annika down and told her they were in a tough business and her actions were not personal. Annika assured DeWitt that she made it personal.

Tough Love

The Diamond Peak were shown backstage in their dressing room. MoW Champion Shannon Worth was upset with Pierre Laurent.

“Wake up, kid. I’m out there putting on the performance of a lifetime. Where are you? You can’t get the job done without begging for help? This is The Diamond Peak. We are unrivaled. I’m the only one living up to that standard! Where you are in all this? You need to carry your own weight.” -Shannon Worth

Claudia Winter calmed the situation but admitted there was an “optics” problem. Winter said that Laurent has been rattled by the meddling Preston Montgomery and he needed to move on and upward to better things.

Laurent promised he would not let either of them down and was working harder than ever to bring home more championships to The Diamond Peak. Worth still looked frustrated while Winter told Laurent that was what she wanted to hear.

A Fighter Coming for Fortune

Tracy Blood, the number one contender for the MoW Wildheart Championship, came to the ring to express her excitement about the opportunity. Blood called the MoW Wildheart Championship one of the most desirable titles in all of wrestling.

Blood’s words brought out the MoW Wildheart Champion Kassidy Fortune. Fortune had sharp words for her new challenger.

“This title is the most desirable title in wrestling and it is because of me! I make people care about this title. I am honored to be the champion. You? You just want to use it to keep yourself in the spotlight.” -Kassidy Fortune

Blood and Fortune have a tense moment before Fortune shoved Blood. Blood retaliated with a head kick but Fortune ducked and hit Blood in the head with the title belt.

Should Have Kept Your Mouth Shut

Lost Cause continued their quest to get an MoW Team Championship opportunity by approaching MoW Commissioner Tiger Johnson. Johnson was not in favor of awarding Cool Spencer and Rus Samson the opportunity despite their best efforts.

MoW Team Champions The Door interrupted the meeting and told Johnson he made the right decision because they would never allow a group of losers like Lost Cause to step into the ring with them.

Johnson looked at The Door with irritation and correct the champions on their place within MoW.

“First off, it isn’t up to you who you will or will not wrestle. That is my job. And you know what? I’ve changed my mind. I think Lost Cause vs. The Door for the MoW Team Championship at Final Round is a great idea.” -Tiger Johnson

Lost Cause all give high fives to each other. They offer high fives to The Door who reject them and walk away.

Clearing the Confusion

Jessie Vega and Maria Estrella were in their dressing room when Mary Jane Elder knocked on their door. Elder tried to clear up last week’s awkward interaction, explaining that she was a wrestler like them and was trying to introduce herself.

Vega became enraged, said she did not care who Elder was, and did not want Estrella and her to be bothered. Estrella warned Elder that their dressing room was off limits and slammed the door in her face.

A Confident Champion. A Confident Challenger.

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with Cate Stiles in a sit down interview. Kennedy recapped last week’s exchange between Stiles and her Final Round opponent, MoW Champion Shannon Worth, noting that Stiles looked rattled afterward.

Stiles denied that her confidence was shaken but said she misunderstood Worth.

“Shannon Worth has been the most dominant champion in MoW history. I can’t deny that. She nearly ended my career. Despite all of that, I am still confident I can defeat her. I made a mistake, though. I thought Shannon’s tactics were desperation moves to stay on top. Now I know they are not. She is just as confident as me. I will still beat her. I will become champion again. But I know this will be the toughest match of my life.” -Cate Stiles

Kennedy hyped up the championship match happening at Final Round in two week’s time.

Out of Options

Tiger Johnson invited Cole Arcane and Rex Anarchy to the ring to discuss their seemingly endless feud. Johnson told them he cannot allow their feud to continue and has run out of options.

“The rate you two are going, someone is going to be catastrophically injured. Or worse. I can’t let this go on and you’ve left me no choice. Right here, I am holding a 2024 MoW contract. Only one of you can have it. At Final Round, this contract will be placed in a briefcase and hung above the ring. The two of you will compete in a ladder match. One of you will capture this contract and continue with MoW next year. The other will not.” -Tiger Johnson

Arcane and Anarchy had an uneasy staredown knowing the stakes were higher than ever before.

Mikey Armstrong vs. Killer Malone

The main event featured Mikey Armstrong taking on Killer Malone in singles action. Armstrong had gotten under the skin of Malone in recent weeks and tried to smooth the situation. Malone would not entertain Armstrong’s efforts and pounded on him instead.

Armstrong tried to flee from Malone but was dragged back into the ring. Malone was making easy work of Armstrong but missed a clothesline in the turnbuckle when Armstrong rolled away. Armstrong rolled up Malone for a pin and pulled the tights to gain leverage and pick up a victory.

Mikey Armstrong was ecstatic in victory but his celebration was short lived. Killer Malone spun Armstrong around and nailed him with a knockout punch.

The Numbers Game

The show closed with an appearance by MoW Champion Dr. Insidious, Dezzy Nightshade, and The Iconoclast. Nightshade spoke for the champion and answered Snarl’s challenge.

“Dr. Insidious would like Snarl to know that he will accept the challenge. Snarl vs. Dr. Insidious for the MoW Championship at Final Round. Personally, Snarl, I think you are a fool for trying.” -Dezzy Nightshade

The Iconoclast stood next to the champion and the pair looked menacing next to each other.

Snarl came down to the ring to confront Dr. Insidious but found himself surrounded. Snarl promised to use every last bit left in his tank to defeat Insidious and will go through The Iconoclast and Nightshade in the match if he has to.

Snarl was fearless but Dr. Insidious, The Iconoclast, and Dezzy Nightshade attacked him. Despite his efforts to fight back, Snarl was outnumbered and beaten down to end the show.
