RFW Wildheart Championship Match

Shannon Worth w/Claudia Winter vs. Kassidy Fortune (c)

The show kicked off with Shannon Worth attempting to capture the RFW Wildheart Championship from Kassidy Fortune. Both women locked up and tested each other with headlocks, hip tosses, and throws before shifting the match into a faster pace.

Fortune narrowly dodged a surprise spinning elbow from Worth and caught her with a cutter. Fortune tried for a pin but Worth kicked out. Fortune kept her attacks on her challenger but Worth fought her way to a comeback. Worth tried to pin or submit Fortune several times but the champion was persistent in keeping her reign alive.

Late in the match, Fortune had Worth in position for another cutter but Worth avoided it before responding with a flurry of strikes. Worth positioned Fortune and hit her with a spinning elbow, covering her for the pin, and winning the match to become the new RFW Wildheart Champion.

Shannon Worth stood in the ring and regarded her new title belt before raising it over her head in victory. Worth’s manager, Claudia Winter, congratulated her, though the interaction between the two was tense.

Maria Estrella w/Jessie Vega vs. Mary Jane Elder

Maria Estrella was determined to get a measure of revenge on Mary Jane Elder for pranking her and Jessie Vega. Estrella was all business as Vega watched on from ringside. Elder was more playful, taunting Estrella when she knocked her down and making sad faces to Vega.

The fun was short lived after Estrella sent Elder head over heels with a brutal clothesline. Estrella’s strength was on display as she slammed Elder all over the ring. Elder fought back but Estrella regained control late in the match and defeated her by pinfall following a running powerslam.

Oblivion

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with RFW Grand Champion The Iconoclast and Dezzy Nightshade. Kennedy and The Iconoclast spoke about the evening’s main event between himself and challenger Mark Blood. The Iconoclast spoke as a confident champion.

“Ms. Kennedy, Mark Blood is a world traveled, proud fighter. I can respect that. His experience and his heart makes no different tonight. Tonight, he stares into the face of destruction. He faces oblivion. His desire to carry this championship will be his downfall. Just you watch.”

The Iconoclast

Nightshade grinned as The Iconoclast walked off, leaving Kennedy alone to return the show to the ring.

RFW Tag Team Championship Match

Tornado and Ridge vs. The Navigators (c)

The Navigators returned to RFW in 2024 and promptly regained the Tag Team Championship. Tornado and Ridge took issue with The Navigators’ poor attitude toward RFW’s tag team division leading to this clash for the championship.

Tornado and Ridge came out strong with solid teamwork early in the match. Tornado hyped the crowd while Ridge built momentum against Aidan North with a blast of high speed attacks from the ropes. Pete Arrow broke up a pin attempt by Ridge and got into a fight with Tornado until the referee could bring control back to the match.

North found a way through the challengers’ offense and tagged in Arrow. Arrow dominated the ring before he and North began using frequent tags to wear down Tornado. Tornado avoided a moonsault by North and began a comeback. Ridge tagged in and landed a shooting star press on North after Tornado suplexed him to the mat. North was once again saved by Arrow. The referee directed Arrow back to his corner and missed North giving Ridge a low blow. North capitalized on his illegal tactic to help him pin Ridge and secure a victory.

The Navigators were declared the winners. Tornado and Ridge recovered outside the ring, frustrated by the outcome.

Ruslan Panov vs. Killer Malone

Ruslan Panov revealed one of his reasons for coming to RFW was to test himself against a man he saw as a peer, Killer Malone. Malone was open to the idea of a match leading to this encounter.

The match started slow with each man testing their opponent. Malone escaped a headlock and pushed Panov into the ropes. Both men collided but stayed on their feet and the match became harder hitting. Malone, often the winner in fist fights, found his match in an aggressive Panov. A cut opened on Malone’s forehead and the blood ran into his eyes giving Panov an advantage against the visually compromised Malone.

Panov continued his strikes on Malone until Malone blocked a punch and fired back. Malone made a strong comeback but Panov turned the match in his favor again with a drop toe hold to Malone that hit his head off a turnbuckle. Panov tried to capitalize but Malone calculated a curb stomp and avoided it. Malone made a final push to fight back before hitting Panov with a knockout punch and pinning him for the win.

Killer Malone looked roughed up but had his hand raised as the victor. Malone approached Ruslan Panov and offered a handshake in respect. Panov accepted the handshake and was gracious in defeat but then pulled Malone toward him and nailed him with a headbutt followed by a forearm shot. Malone fell to his knees where Panov hit him with two curb stomps. Panov stood over Malone with a look of malice before leaving the ring without explanation.

Kami King vs. Yurei

Yurei returned to RFW late in 2023 and made her presence known by taking out Kami King’s friend, Tracy Blood. King was looking for revenge on Yurei in this hard hitting match.

King had a brief string of offense early in the match but Yurei responded with a nasty mule kick to King’s gut and began a lengthy, vicious assault. Yurei toyed with King, taunting her as she laid in her attacks. King hit Yurei with a surprise super kick and went for a pin but it wasn’t enough to keep Yurei down.

King built a spirited comeback but couldn’t keep Yurei down. King whipped Yurei into the ropes but missed a super kick. Yurei hit King with a spear on the rebound and pinned her to win the match.

Ready for Anything

Kimberly Kennedy was backstage with Mark Blood. Kennedy and Blood discussed the difficult challenge he will have against RFW Grand Champion The Iconoclast. Blood admitted The Iconoclast was a tough, fearsome champion, but believed he had the tools to win. Kennedy asked about Dezzy Nightshade’s presence at ringside and Blood said he would be ready for her.

“Of course Dezzy Nightshade is a concern. She’s got that mist she spits out, too. I spent time in Japan these last few years and I know the difference maker mist can make. I learned a few things. I will be ready if Dezzy tries to get involved.”

Mark Blood

Kennedy ended the interview and sent the show back to the ring for the next match.

RFW World Championship Match

Meghan DeWitt w/Claudia Winter vs. Cate Stiles (c)

Claudia Winter’s Diamond Peak faction nearly ended Cate Stiles career two years ago but Stiles came back and captured the RFW World Championship from Shannon Worth at Final Round 2023. Winter’s plan to bring the title back to The Diamond Peak involved the group’s newest member, Meghan DeWitt, as Stiles’ latest challenge.

Stiles came to the ring looking confident while DeWitt looked determined to make this her big moment. The match went back and forth in the early minutes of the match with DeWitt showing impressive skills against Stiles. DeWitt hit Stiles with a series of hard kicks to her body and legs before grounding the champion to the mat with submission takedowns.

Stiles fought out of DeWitt’s holds and responded with suplexes that began a lengthy offensive push against DeWitt. Stiles worked DeWitt’s leg to setup an ankle lock. DeWitt avoided the submission but could not stop Stiles from continuing her dominance.

DeWitt hit Stiles with a desperation flying knee and while it was not enough to keep the champion down for a pin it did create an opportunity for DeWitt to come back with an offensive push of her own. DeWitt came close to pinning Stiles but the champion continued to fight. Stiles fought back and had DeWitt in the ankle lock but The Diamond Peak advantage came into play with Preston Montgomery distracting the referee and Claudia Winter hitting Stiles from behind. The numbers game was looking bad for Stiles and Shannon Worth surprised everyone by coming down to the ring.

The Diamond Peak was at full strength. The referee argued with Winter and Montgomery, ordering them to leave ringside. Meanwhile, DeWitt lined up Stiles for a flying knee. As DeWitt ran toward the champion, Worth ran in and smashed her with a spinning elbow. Worth left the ring and watched as Stiles got to her feet and forced DeWitt into submission with the ankle lock.

Cate Stiles emerged victorious as the reigning RFW World Champion. Outside the ring, Claudia Winter was furious at Shannon Worth’s betrayal. Worth gave The Diamond Peak members a long stare before turning her back and leaving.

RFW Grand Championship Match

Mark Blood vs. The Iconoclast (c) w/Dezzy Nightshade

The Iconoclast won the RFW Grand Championship tournament to become the new champion at RFW #100 by defeating Mark Blood. Blood was granted a rematch against the menacing Iconoclast. The Iconoclast’s protege, Dezzy Nightshade, added another layer of complexity to Blood’s chances as she stalked outside the ring.

The Iconoclast overpowered Blood early in the match and kept Blood from getting in much offense. Blood was tossed from the ring where he landed at the feet of Nightshade. Nightshade taunted Blood before The Iconoclast grabbed him and slammed the challenger on the floor. Blood was rolled into the ring and pinned but kicked out.

Blood dodged a clothesline and fired back with strikes that opened the door for an offensive push. The Iconoclast was rocked by Blood and found himself in a Boston Crab submission. The champion powered out of the submission but Blood continued to focus offense on his back.

Blood and The Iconoclast went back and forth trying to best one another before Blood got the upper hand and used his tombstone piledriver. The Iconoclast kicked out of a pin, surprising Blood, but the challenger wasted no time trying to put the champion away. The Iconoclast thumbed Blood in the eye which caused the referee to give the champion a stern warning. Blood found himself leaning against the ropes while Nightshade stalked him. Nightshade was about to spit her purple mist but Blood surprised her by spitting red mist. Nightshade fell backward and clawed at her face while Blood returned his attention to The Iconoclast.

The Iconoclast tried for a choke powerbomb but Blood avoided it and came back with two more tombstone piledrivers. Blood covered The Iconoclast to pin him and claim the RFW Grand Championship for a record third time.

Mark Blood clutched the title belt and raised his arm in victory. Blood grabbed a microphone and had a message for the RFW fans.

“I came back here to give you my best. I promise to make this championship run the best RFW has ever seen. I will see you at Rapid Fire Festival this summer. That’s when we get to work.”

Mark Blood

Blood thanked the fans for coming before celebrating more in the ring as the show closed.
