Rapid Fire Festival 2025 Week 3 Results

Date: 08/23/2025
Location: Miami Beach, FL

We are back for week three of our Rapid Fire Festival summer celebration and just one week away from our finale! I’m Shawn Roberts, the voice of RFW, welcoming you to Rapid Fire Wrestling!

A Fair Fight

Our show kicked off with a boisterous crowd on the sand cheering as Tracy Blood came down to the ring. Blood was defeated last week by Phueng Ahunai with the assistance of a handful of sand to the eyes. Blood, unsurprisingly, was not cool with this.

“Phueng Ahunai is a gifted fighter and the reason I wanted to challenge her. She didn’t need to cheat to win and the fact that she did, quite honestly, disappoints me. Phueng, I want a rematch, a fair fight this time, and I think deep down inside you want the same.” -Tracy Blood

Ahunai came out in response but seemed unconcerned about the details of her victory. Either way, she was open to a rematch. And that brought out our commissioner, Aurora Starkey. Starkey loved the idea of a rematch and made it the main event of this very show! This delighted the crowd, pleased Blood, and amused Ahunai. So, stick around, because I’ve got all the details on their second encounter coming up!

Out of Control

We skipped over to the beach where Kimberly Kennedy found Andre Jordan relaxing on the beach with a cocktail in hand. Kennedy asked Jordan the question we all want the answer to, why won’t he leave Lucia Mendez alone.

“Kimberly, babe, this is a personal matter but I’m going to let that slide. The reason is very simple. Lucia may want her space but I still love her and I want to make sure she’s safe. This Hector Diaz guy? I don’t trust him. Who is he? What has he done here, I mean really? I don’t want to see her get hurt or held back by that riff raff.” -Andre Jordan

Kennedy did her job and pushed back, asking Jordan why any of this was his business and the former Grand Champion got angry with her. This was starting to look a scary but, thankfully, riff raff arrived. Hector Diaz stepped between Jordan and Kennedy and told Jordan he was out of control. Jordan took a shot at Diaz but missed and was thrown to the sand. Jordan backed off but told Diaz he would pay.

I got word these two will meet in the ring for a proper fight next week.

Mia Mercury vs. Dezzy Nightshade w/The Iconoclast

Fresh off of a thrilling fight with hot free agent Keira Ryan, Mia Mercury steppe into the ring with the RFW Grand Champion’s protege, Dezzy Nightshade. These Wildheart Wrestling Club alums stood face-to-face in the late day sun until Nightshade shoved Mercury and received a vicious forearm in response.

I should mention that The Iconoclast was here in Nightshade’s corner and watched with great interest as she absorbed Mercury’s early offense before taking control after a powerslam. Nightshade was dominant as this match went on but a missed clothesline and a quick dropkick in reply from Mercury turned this one around. Mercury was looking strong here as the match continued but The Iconoclast distracted the referee and Nightshade was ready to spit her purple mist.

But it didn’t happen! Kenneth Cobb came from, well, I don’t know where he came from, but he held a hand over Nightshade’s mouth to block the mist. From here, Mercury capitalized on the backfire and pinned Nightshade for the win.

Mia Mercury was your winner here but it was the action outside the ring that had everybody’s attention. Cobb and The Iconoclast brawled through the crowd before finding themselves waist-deep in the ocean. The crowd cheered this fight on that eventually ended when Dezzy Nightshade hit Cobb from behind with somebody’s cooler. The Iconoclast used a choke slam powerbomb on Cobb and walked away from his downed rival just one week before having to defend the Grand Championship. Cobb emerged from the water looking sore but the determination in his eyes was not washed away by the waves. I can’t wait to see these two clash next week!

Trust Issues

Meanwhile, Lost Cause was sitting at a table on the boardwalk where Cool Spencer and Paisley Alden were trying to understand what was going on between Rus Samson and The Elements. Samson insisted he had no connection with them.

The Elements must have been close by because they conveniently approached Lost Cause and, once again, tried to recruit Samson. Right in front of his partners! This crew has no shame.

“I gotta ask. Why would you stay with these two when they are sitting here questioning your loyalty. Trust issue are no good. We trust you. We trust the four of us could be quite a force here in RFW. I know you are a smart guy, so come on, make the right decision and come with us.” -Shannon Worth

Spencer stepped in before Samson could say anything. The Cool One was surprising frustrated and said that he and Alden did trust Samson and challenged The Elements to a six-person match next week. The Elements eagerly agreed to the match but as Tommy V patted Samson on the shoulder as Worth, Marcus, and he walked away, Lost Cause was left looking uneasy about the whole situation.

Raising the Profile

Jessie Vega was sitting at a seaside restaurant enjoying a rather fancy meal as our very own Kimberly Kennedy sat down to interview her while Lee Lee Hunt observed.

Kennedy wanted to better understand Vega’s desire for the RFW World Championship and Vega’s response was not surprising.

“I see it in your eyes just like so many others, Kimberly Kennedy. You think I’m selfish. I’m just looking to carry the title so it makes me an even bigger star. Yeah, well, that’s part of it and why I shouldn’t I want to better myself? What you get wrong is that this isn’t just about me. Kassidy Fortune may be a great wrestler but that’s all she is. RFW could be so much more and it needs someone more capable of raising its profile in the public eye. That’s what I want to do. I can make RFW an entertainment sensation. And I promise you, I will.” -Jessie Vega

With that, Hunt shooed Kennedy away. There you have it, fans. Vega isn’t just in this for her own gains. It’s for you, too! What a selfless act! Did… the sarcasm come through?

I Need Your Help

We went back to the beach to find Meghan DeWitt stepping through the sands in a quiet area away from our show where Annika was practicing a karate form. Annika stopped and looked suspicious of DeWitt. DeWitt held up her hands and explained herself.

“I know you and I aren’t seeing eye-to-eye these days and I know it’s my fault but please hear me out. I’ve got a match against Yurei next week and if I’m being honest, I think I could use some training. I saw you go to war with Yurei last year. There is nobody who knows her better. I have no reason to even deserve this, but, will you help me?” -Meghan DeWitt

Annika scoffed at DeWitt but then reconsidered.

“You took advantage of me and I haven’t forgotten that. However, I’m willing to help. Don’t mistake this for forgiveness but… maybe it’s a start.” -Annika

DeWitt was relieved to get Annika’s help and Annika wasted no time instructing DeWitt to begin training immediately as the sun began to set.

Distracted or Focused?

Back in the ring, we found RFW Wildheart Champion Alexandra Morgan standing proudly with that title belt around her waist looking to her manager, Claudia Winter, to address the crowd. Winter discussed Morgan’s next opponent, Lucia Mendez, and revealed the real reason why the challenge was extended to her.

“Next week, Alexandra Morgan faces Lucia Mendez and all of her baggage. What am I talking about? Come on. Wherever Lucia Mendez goes, Andre Jordan has to get in her way. It’s real simple. We wanted a talent opponent to challenge for the Wildheart. Lucia Mendez has the talent. But is she really focused or is her mind elsewhere? I’m not saying this one is going to be a layup for Lexi here, but –” -Claudia Winter

Lucia Mendez heard enough. She stormed the ring and berated Winter and Morgan for thinking she wasn’t focused, promising to rip the title away from Morgan next week. Things got heated leading to some fisticuffs until Mendez caught Morgan in a triangle hold that she couldn’t escape from. Winter managed to pull Mendez off but got pushed out of the ring for her troubles. Winter pulled Morgan out of the ring to recover as Mendez lifted the Wildheart Championship belt over her head and stared the champion dead in the eyes.

“Oh, My Car!”

As night fell upon Miami Beach, we found The Navigators, RFW Tag Team Champions, walking the streets with a woman hanging on each of their arms. Aidan North and Pete Arrow walked confidently and reassured their dates that while the Lords of Chaos are a major threat, they have dominated the wrestling world, continue to prove they are the best tag team in RFW, and the Lords of Chaos don’t scare them.

North told his date that his new car was just around the corner but, sadly, as they turned that corner the car had been smashed to pieces! The Navigators ran to the car only to find themselves too distracted to noticed the Lords of Chaos ambush them with steel pipes in hand. The women ran off as Rex Anarchy and Ruslan Panov beat down the tag champs and left them laying in the parking lot.

Putting in the Work

The sun had set as we returned to the boardwalk where the RFW World Champion, Kassidy Fortune, sat on a bench wearing clothes to blend in with the crowds as she watched out at the sand where our wrestling ring sat and the crowd were getting hyped up for our main event.

Fortune took a long look at that thing and shared her thoughts about her challenger, Jessie Vega, and her own place in the wrestling world.

“I know Jessie Vega wants the fame. She has accomplished a lot. She’s been in this business for a decade and always had a prominent place on every show. She went off and became a music superstar. I think that’s great. But while she takes time off to sing, I’m still here putting in the work to make RFW known as the place where the best wrestle. I will not allow Jessie to take the World Championship and dilute it as a piece of jewelry to seek more attention. The World Championship means more than that.” -Kassidy Fortune

With that, Fortune walked away and got lost in the crowd. One week from now, she will defend that World Championship that means so much to her against a challenger who is very, very hungry for gold.

Tracy Blood vs. Phueng Ahunai

That brings us to the main event! Tracy Blood and Phueng Ahunai clashed in this rematch and got right to the action. Blood got the better of Ahunai with her kicks and fists until Ahunai was able to catch Blood’s ankle and roll her to the mat with a submission. This one move set the pace for much of the match as Blood favored that foot as the match went on.

Ahunai was focused on her offense but as her confidence built she began to play with Blood and taunt her. Blood used Ahunai’s overconfidence to get back into this one but found herself having to switch from striking offense to more of a mat wrestling style. Another attack on Blood’s ankle got Ahunai back in this and was the start of a back-and-forth offensive between both women. Ahunai tried for a flipping neck breaker but Blood reversed the center of balance and rolled Ahunai into a small package. The referee counted to three but missed Ahunai’s shoulder rolling off the mat just before three.

Tracy Blood was awarded this victory in this one but as she sat on the mat checking her damaged ankle she watched Phueng Ahunai argue with the referee. Blood rolled out of the ring and grabbed a microphone to address this controversy.

“All I wanted, and this people wanted, was a fair fight. That includes a fair finish. If your shoulder was off the mat then I say, we’ve got one more week of this festival. Let’s do this one more time and see who really is the best.” -Tracy Blood

Ahunai was on board and RFW Commissioner Aurora Starkey made it official. Next week, at the finale of the Rapid Fire Festival, Tracy Blood and Phueng Ahunai meet one more time!

In addition to that match, we’ve got The Elements and Lost Cause in a six-person mixed tag match, Meghan DeWitt vs. Yurei, Andre Jordan vs. Hector Diaz, Lucia Mendez challenging Alexandra Morgan for the RFW Wildheart Championship, Lords of Chaos challenging The Navigators for the RFW Tag Team Championship, Kenneth Cobb challenging The Iconoclast for the RFW Grand Championship, and Jessie Vega challenging Kassidy Fortune for the RFW World Championship. It’s going to be a hot evening of action here at Miami Beach. We’ll see you here next week, Rapid Fire Fanatics!

The Fourth Element

We see Marcus and Tommy V quietly sitting at a table in their hotel room playing a card game. They both look up at the sound of a knock at the door.

The bathroom door opens, steam escaping into the hotel room. Shannon Worth peeks her head out, hair wet from a shower, and she looked at Marcus and Tommy V.

Shannon Worth: Was that the door?

Marcus: Yeah. I’ll get it.

Marcus begins to stand up but Worth puts up a hand.

Worth: No. I got this.

Worth, still wearing a towel, walks to the door and opens it. She cocks her head as she looks at the person standing in the doorway.

Worth: So, you’re in?

Worth smiles. Marcus and Tommy V stand up and approach the door, never taking their eyes off of their guest.

Tommy V: Welcome aboard.
